20XX 0.972b Patch Notes - February 15th, 2017

Disclaimer: 20XX is in beta. As we develop the game, we may make changes that require us to invalidate or wipe your 20XX save files, Steam Leaderboard info/achievements, and other save-y stuff like that. Be aware!

TL;DR for today's patch: Glory zone stuff! Toxin Skull changes!

For the next few patches: Polish! Lots of polish. (And a ton of behind-the-scenes work -- SF folks, prepare yourselves!)

As always, let us know if anything's busted or if we missed a change.

Gang Beasts Patch notes for the Gang Beasts 0.5.3 beta

Since the 0.5.2 build was published last month we have been working with Coatsink to patch keys issues introduced in recent builds and recent versions of Unity and are publishing the first batch of optimisations, fixes, and other modifications in the 0.5.3 beta.

The 0.5.3 build has numerous bug and stability fixes but we are still working to fix issues with the multiplayer camera, vents glitches, costume exploits and conflicts, inconsistencies with lift forces and concussion times and expect to push these fixes to Steam for testing in coming builds.

We have also started work on a full rebuild of the UI, localising for multiple languages, and a more standardised testing process (with additional resources working with us to identify and fix issues).

Warfare Online Update v0.14

Lots of balancing in this update, along with some fairly large card changes.

High Spirits - now "High Command"

The design of this card has been problematic since Closed Beta, so we decided to rework it completely. It was always an advantageous Op to have equipped as it put you on the front foot from the start. With that advantage it made it nearly impossible for the negative effect to trigger.

It now has the following effect: "Adds 3 random Command assets to your Support List." That means you will start the Battle with 23 Supports, instead of 20, three of which are randomly selected Command assets at the start of each battle.

Logistics + Support Unit Spam

We had created a few platoons with this set up in the past, but hadn't got around to making adjustments. One of our players made it very clear that we need to start balancing things out. We've changed a lot of Logistics and Support Unit assets in this patch. Mostly with cost increases, but some are functioning slightly different than before.

Support units were always meant to be a backup / supplement to your units. Not additional forces. Hopefully the new changes push them in that direction.

  • Mini Glaciers will no longer spawn too close to Campfires, Fire Pits, and Scaled Furnaces.
  • Woodie will no longer get stuck at 0% beaverness when he dies from hunger as a Beaver.
  • Full moon phases now start and stop properly in Lights Out mode.

Warfare Online v0.13 - Early Access

Greetings Commanders!

Firstly, we've got some fixes to stop the laggy games you've been seeing the last few days. On top of that, there's some fixes and important additions:

Match Making Changes

We're experimenting with the Matchmaker to get better and more fair matches. It might take up to 2 mins to find a match at times, but the quality of the match up should be much better.

Server Fixes

After our last patch, we started seeing some heavily lagged games. It turns out it was CPU related on the servers, we've put some fixes in for that. Let us know if you see any stuttering games after this patch.

Range Indicators

Your units will now show a rough indicator of their range when selected in battle. You can also select the enemy units to see their range.

Nation Level Achievements

You'll get an achievement for each Nation level you reach, which will come with 10 gold. This will retroactivate if you've already reached those levels.

Battlerite Patch 0.11

Upcoming changes in Patch 0.11.1.0

As we have the Enter the Arena event coming up we have decided to split the mid February patch in two. This first patch brings the new champion along with the next season and some additional changes and fixes; you can view details below. The second patch, Patch 0.11.1, is planned to arrive February 28th. We are experimenting with some bigger changes for it, with the primary goal to make M1's more exciting to use while also allowing for M1 exchanges to be more interesting and thrilling. This involves changes to both movement speed, damage, cast times and cooldowns/charges. We have concentrated on looking at the M1s of our ranged Champions first, but are also trying a few things out with our melee Champions. We are still experimenting with this and at the time of writing do not have definite details to share, so you will have to wait for more detailed information in the patch notes for Patch 0.11.1.0.

Tyler: Model 005 - Alpha 1.1f Released

Since launch, we have been listening to your feedback and improve the game-play mechanics of Tyler: Model 005.
We have just released our second patch for Tyler: Model 005
That should improve your game-play experience.

Avorion - Patch 0.10.2.7448 is live!

The patch from the beta branch is now live on the main branch for everybody to play!

You can also expect a hotfix for stations without docks and repairing of destroyed docks very soon, but these fixes didn't make it into this one.

Patchnotes TLDR: Lots of small QoL changes, less crashing, less total war between factions, better multiplayer performance and a lot less disappearing ships, even when a crash happens.
