Changes in rating system that will appear in Prime World this spring

Lords and Ladies!

Today we will announce Seasons that influence on the rating system and will be installed in the next patch.

Rating Seasons

What is a Season and how does it differ from normal ladder? A Season is a period of time when a player can increase his rating as usual. The most interesting part is when the Seasons change. In the beginning of the next Season Heroes’ rating will be changed. The Heroes will start playing in different leagues. The higher the Hero’s level is in the end of the Season, the lower the level in the next season is. Corporals for example will start a new Season with 1401. Lieutenants will start with Captains. Of course, there will be a special sign of the maximum rating in the player’s profile. Each Season will last for about three months.

Guild Quest The Prestige Update

This is one of those weird updates that got us really excited about playing our game (it happens semi-often). You may have noticed some new achievements showing up yesterday: we're introducing a prestige system to Guild Quest.

However, unlike most idle games, we're not doing the typical prestige thing. What'll happen here is you get to CHOOSE the difficulty you want. Want to push an early island as far as you can? Take it to Mighty 1! But you're going to have to play it more conservatively the further the islands get.

The really interesting thing that's made us excited is that there's a lot of experimentation and exploration and DEFEAT happening.

Prestiging is free, you unlock it by defeating all the bosses on an island, and then different prestige difficulties are locked behind your level. You can prestige an island as many times as you want, but it will wipe out all the quests/city upgrades you've currently got built there and you'll need to rebuild. But you won't have to re-unlock quests.

UPDATE--
EXISTING PLAYERS: You'll need to make sure to re-defeat the first boss NINTH QUEST in Westacre with the new update. The next time you go to your map you'll be taken to the prestige tutorial.

There are going to be islands and difficulties that are going to be outside of what you can accomplish for now. We'll keep upping the Level cap and introducing more cards/loot as we go, but this system needed to happen first.

Here are the notes:

Battlerite Patch 0.11

Upcoming changes in Patch 0.11.1.0

As we have the Enter the Arena event coming up we have decided to split the mid February patch in two. This first patch brings the new champion along with the next season and some additional changes and fixes; you can view details below. The second patch, Patch 0.11.1, is planned to arrive February 28th. We are experimenting with some bigger changes for it, with the primary goal to make M1's more exciting to use while also allowing for M1 exchanges to be more interesting and thrilling. This involves changes to both movement speed, damage, cast times and cooldowns/charges. We have concentrated on looking at the M1s of our ranged Champions first, but are also trying a few things out with our melee Champions. We are still experimenting with this and at the time of writing do not have definite details to share, so you will have to wait for more detailed information in the patch notes for Patch 0.11.1.0.
