Following last week's public confrontation between Valve and Fnatic.Dota2, the 5 invited players in BigDaddy(N0tail), Fly, H4nn1, Trixi and Era will be competeing together at The International 4.
The collective Dota 2 community were still uncertain as to what would become of Fnatic's spot at The International 4 this July as both Fnatic.Dota2 and Valve aired their disagreements with one another in public regarding Fnatic's wish to participate at the event together with XCalibur, rather than their main carry throughout the years in Fnatic.Era
Today, news broke out that Fnatic.Era will be travelling to Seattle as orininally intended.
The past few months have been extremely stressful for Fnatic.Dota 2, especially Era. There were a lot of question marks surrounding him and if he would be well enough to attend the largest eSports event in history. Now we can confirm that the team has got back into a regular routine with Era, in a bid to prepare for TI4. This is what Era had to say on his return: "Despite the tough times I have been going through lately, I am committed to attend TI4 and do my very best for my teammates, family, fans and organisation."
Fnatic.Dota 2 has been in constant contact with Era and his family and we have been working with Valve to find a solution that can work out best for Era and his team to go against the best and take a shot at the $10,000,000 prize pool. Valve has gone over and above to make sure that Era's travel and stay in Seattle is as comfortable as possible.
We're very excited to have Era back with the team and we look forward to seeing him on stage and playing the game he loves! Finally Era had this to say: "I especially want to say thank you to Valve for being very patient, helpful and understanding with me, and a final shout-out to everyone that is cheering for us!"
Lastly we would like to extend our heart felt gratitude to XCalibur who has been on the road with us for the last four weeks and has been very understanding and we will be sending him with the team as a Coach/Analyst to TI4. We would also like to thank every single fan out there who supported not only us, but Fnatic.Era. It has been a tough few months but the support and kind words helped everyone get through it.
