Hey everyone,

During the August month ahead stream this Tuesday, as well as talking about August updates, we wanted to open it up to a more general Q&A since we haven't done this in a while. So if there is anything you'd like to know about August updates, or anything else RuneScape related please post a comment in this thread.

I am gonna post this now every day until it gets fixed, or a jmod gives a statment about it being known and getting fixed. You can downvote or hate, but this is obviously the only way to get a response or get it fixed after more then probably 6 months since its been an issue... Please support if you agree

If RSC is going to be shut down, why not make the ENTIRE game free and open source?

Free, as in F2P being able to access the entire RSC game, all content.

RSC, being 17 years old, could just go open source and let the community go through the source code, see how RSC worked. Maybe even fix bugs that were otherwise unfixable. Replace the official RSC client with the more modern RSC+ client.

As you can see, we have a LOT of relevant updates that come from these projects.

I don't think a single one of these caused a player outrage or reddit outrage... they were all well received.

I would go as far and say a lot of the best updates from the past couple years are on this list.

I really hope TAPP isn't gone for good... because I could completely see Jagex telling us it won't ever be back when 2019 comes around.
