I just bought DayZ after a long time despising it after videos I've seen. Eventually I thought "Screw it, I could always refund it!" So I bought it and launched up a server to play. I spawned next to 3 shacks and a zombie. I didn't want a chance to die my first time (fast) so I looted the 3 shacks and left the path because of the zombie. I went up a mountain and saw a forest, after going through the forest a bit I found a split of trees and fallen leaves and just green grass. I started moving though the grass and meow I am stuck in that spot and my only hope is to respawn. I press esc but there is no respawn option... should I just starve myself to death?!

Spotted this line whilst looking for something else, just wondered if anyone could shed some light on it? My brain sees mod_sg and immediately thinks Survivor GameZ.

Running the stress test client with these switches doesn't appear to do anything.

So I spawned in after dying at stary and decided to go up to the airfield this time to see if there was any goodies. I started the run and ran into a friendly who called himself the doctor, he had made all his clothes into rags and promised to save me no matter what. I laughed it off and he agreed to travel with me because "the Doctor needs a patient) so me and the doctor make are just at stary when I break a leg he says "stay put the doctor will save you" he ran off after awhile I decided he wasn't coming back but then just as I go unconscious I see a person running towards me. I wake up to the doctor screaming for me not to die on him I was laughing but he patched me up and we continued out journey. Then tragedy struck the doctor got hit by what I assume was an sks and before he finally died he said "the thing is the doctor cannot become the patient"

Everytime I try to play DayZ, I'm having to do FULL re-installs due to my mouse movement being bugged so badly it makes the game un-playable.

Can we PLEASE get a fix for this? My ISP & PC is sick of the workloads :D

So I'm about to buy DayZ and I talked to a friend that owns the game. He said that there's not a lot of people playing it. Is it true? How's the playerbase going on?

He didn't play for a while so it could be false. He also said that 0.63 was a poor attempt to bring back the playerbase. True?
