Suggesting a Shooting Range/Super Arena in the Tower

Posted: 06 Aug 2018 05:23 AM PDT

So im guessing everyone read the title for what i'm about to say.

That we need some sort of weapon Shooting range that will help us calculate and experiment with weapons, damage measuring and find the best attachments to our guns, armor, etc.

I was also thinking a good spot that isn't in the open but somewhere, where most people dont expect to go often which is underneath Banshee-44's shop. there's a spiral staircase that leads a floor down which leads to an empty room. Would be a good spot to do some target practice and access to the vault a couple steps away which would also be convenient to try out new guns/loadouts before heading to the Crucible, Raids, or Trials-9 matches.

You guys can comment about liking the idea or other cool suggestions where it would be a nice spot for a shooting range or not. this is just me expressing something important where i know many more players amongst myself have been thinking about this idea for awhile now.

Seen this on r/warhammer40k about "colours that go well together" Thought some of them would make cool shaders. (Especially #20 or #115 as it's as close to a "super black" as possible)

Are people getting annoyed with us grinding for solstice armor?

Posted: 06 Aug 2018 08:10 AM PDT

I say this because I feel like I'm being harassed by other players more while I'm wearing the armor.

Thanks Guardians

Posted: 06 Aug 2018 06:10 AM PDT

So I have never really felt the need or desire to find all the region chests before the Solstice of Heroes event. Now that it is worth some triumph points, I decided to invest some time into it. So yesterday, I began my journey..... I had already randomly stumbled upon about half of them throughout the course of playing the game, but that still left a lot of them to be found. On two separate occasions while I was searching (once on Nessus near the Cistern and once on Mercury at the weird only available during public events one) a random guardian that I didn't know, stopped what they were doing to point out to me where the chest was.

So I wanted to say, THANK YOU guardians! You guys are awesome. This is not the first time that I have received help from a random guardian (in all kinds of events), and I'm sure it won't be the last. One of the many reasons why I enjoy playing this game! Keep it up guardians! We look after our own.

Cant Launch Destiny 2

Posted: 06 Aug 2018 05:34 AM PDT

So i've had destiny 2 installed for a while, ever since they had the free trail version where you could play like 3-4 missions in. Recently im aware they did a free weekend and ever since people who havent bought the game get the saxaphone error. but i never installed during this free weekend and as far as im aware the free trial i had installed had no limit. but i still cant launch without getting the error. have they just switched off all free demos of the game or is there a way to solve this?

Redrix's Claymore was the start of something positive

Posted: 06 Aug 2018 06:37 AM PDT

So - we saw the graphics Bungie released about certain milestones/facts about the game. One being that only 8,500ish people got the Redrix's Claymore. I like the idea that it's somewhat exclusive, a true reward for doing something that was difficult in the game and not purely just about time grinding.

NOW, why can't there be a the Vanguard's Strike version of Redrix. A gun that is obtained when you beat every Nightfall in under 10 minutes. Or score 'x' points on every nightfall over the course of a season. It's grindable, but will still reward skill and give players with particular strengths a way to show off there work.

It goes further, you've packed a Seventh Column during Iron Banner week, here you get the Saladin's 'x' a legendary that isn't overpowered but is unique and special. (I'm saying Redrix isn't overpowered because it's a good gun. With an insane perk BUT, at that high elo the players getting Redrix are dominating the crucible with the meta weapons. It's not like suddenly they dominate even harder).

Or another spin, the guys who get the Top 25 highest scores in Nightfalls that week get the gun (but then can't get it again) so over time a pool of the top 'x' percent get a way to show off that they bossed it as a guardian.

I think this is an unexplored route Bungie could go down that would really give players specific goals and give a great sense of achievement.
