Is the community in this game always like this? Posted: 02 Apr 2018 01:17 AM PDT I was in a dungeon with a random group of people, and I (a hunter) accidentally caught the attention of all the mobs nearby which eventually killed my group. I apologized and everyone in the group was like "it's okay" "no problem at all", and when I said I just bought the game yesterday the members were giving me tips for the game and as a hunter. I also died in the dungeon and was sent back to the beginning of the dungeon and walked a few minutes to the group and surprised they all waited for me. Also other little things like people complimenting my dinosaur pet, roleplaying, and being so nice and helpful. Is the game always normally like this? I'm super surprised because I just started yesterday and always was used to the community in League of Legends. submitted by /u/DrunkOnSoju [link] [comments] |
All 36 Mage Tower challenges completed! Some info on Talents, Legendaries and Gear included for all specs. [Somewhat Long post] Posted: 02 Apr 2018 06:06 AM PDT Hello Everyone. As of last night (oceanic time) i have officially completed all 36 mage tower challenges. What a goddamn relief! I've included some concise information about the gear, legendaries and talents used for every single spec. I hope it helps. If you need any specific information, let me know and I'll try my best to help. Album of all classes/specs can be found here. Well, lets start with, Warrior Arms Legendary: Prydaz and Gloves. Gear: 888 ilvl. 4 pc Nighthold LFR/Norm set with a couple pieces titanforged. Talents: 3-1-2-2-3-2-1 Notes: Prydaz makes this fight a joke. I have a video of my kill here. Fury Legendary: Prydaz and Belt. Gear: 886 ilvl. 4 pc Nighthold LFR/Norm set with a couple pieces titanforged. Talents: 1-1-1-1-2-3-2 Notes: Prydaz saved my ass in this challenge. I would recommend not using Convergence on this fight, as the CD of Recklessness matches up perfectly with the add spawns. I used the strength heirloom trinket because i did not have any other trinket to replace convergence at the time. The heirloom trinket is a VERY good trinket in this fight especially for the 10% dmg increase on demons. I have a video of my kill here. Prot Legendary: Healing Bracers and Rethu. Gear: 910 ilvl. 2 pc ToS set. The off pieces were from ToS heroic. The rest of the main-set gear was from M+ with haste/mastery stats. Talents: 2-1-1-2-1-3-1 Notes: Main goal was to kill the adds as quickly as possible when Varis is active. I would use demo shout when the adds were stacked up and quickly killed them because of the talent "Booming Voice". Spell Reflect Twisted Reflection and mitigate Annihilation by cycling through your cds, demo shout + full ignore pain + shield block, shield block + ignore pain + last stand, demo shout + shield block + ignore pain + shield wall. You can stun kruul with storm bolt. You can also pick up the healing orbs to CC him for some time, while you dps him and build up resources for another annihilation cast. Warlock Destro Legendary: Destro cloak. Gear: 905ilvl. No set bonuses. Talents: 1-1-2-3-3-3-2 Notes: Overall the fight itself is easy. Just have to make sure to interrupt every fel cast and use drain life regularly to keep your health topped off. Drums on pull. Demonology Legendary: soul ring. Gear: 915 ilvl. No set bonuses. Talents: 3-1-2-3-1-1-2 Notes: Overall one of the easier fights. Use your doomlord's cripple ability on the jarl when he enrages. Fear sigryn when she casts blood of the father and leave her CC'd. Keep Doom on the Jarl and the runecaster. Focus all your dps on the runecaster. Use thal'kiels when you have a decent amount of demons active. I used drums on pull. Affliction Legendary: Soul ring. Gear: 915 ilvl. No set bonuses. Talents: 2-1-2-2-1-1-1 Notes: I used the cheese method to defeat this challenge. There was no way i was going to farm non-stop just to get the sacrolash ring. I used drums when i CC'd karam before he goes into purgatory. Killed karam first, then focused Raest. Shaman Resto Legendary: Velen and Riptide belt. Gear: 918 ilvl. 4-pc ToS set. Talents: 3-2-1-2-3-3-1 Notes: Use your stuns + interrupts accordingly. Use healing totem on cd and also when you get fixated. For the last phase, keep riptide up on everyone, including yourself. Keep your HP between 40-60%. If you use spirit link, use it after the explosion debuff. Enhancement Legendary: Riptide belt. Gear: 900 ilvl. No set bonuses. Talents: 2-1-1-2-3-1-1 Notes: One of the easiest fights. Put down healing rain. Keep Sigryn CC'd. Stack up the jarl and runecaster. Use crash lightning and do your rotation as per normal on the runecaster. Lust on pull while having all 3 stacked on each other. Then keep sigryn out of the fight using Hex sparingly. Elemental Legendary: Riptide belt. Gear: 910 ilvl. No set bonuses. Talents: 1-2-1-2-1-3-2 Notes: Another easy fight. Use your artifact ability ONLY when the adds spawn and "UNLIMITED POWER" their imp asses back to the twisting nether. I would leave the healing adds alive until the small imps spawned. I applied flame shock on the healing imps as well while i focused agatha. Keep flame shock on agatha. I would kill every fuming imp to make it easy for me to move around. Rogue Assassin Legendary: Boots. Gear: 900 ilvl. No set bonus. Talents: 2-2-3-1-2-2-1 Notes: One of the easiest fights. Can be done with lower ilvl. Stack up all 3. Put garrote on all 3, put bleeds up on all 3 then continue to dps the runecaster. Keep the jarl and runecaster stacked and hope for poison bomb procs. Kidney shot the jarl when he enrages and focus him because of the talent "Prey on the weak". Blind Sigryn when she casts the blood and leave her CC'd. Subtlety Legendary: Prydaz. Gear: 910 ilvl. No set bonuses. Talents: 2-2-3-1-2-2-2 Notes: Not too difficult. Just make sure to use Mark of death on the icicles and the void adds. Outlaw Legendary: Prydaz. Gear: 918 ilvl. 2-pc Antorus set bonuses. Talents: 2-2-1-1-3-2-2 Notes: Prydaz made this fight trivial. Use mark of death on the add, kill it, use mark of death on another add. Repeat. Keep Using roll the bones when the buffs are about to wear off, preferably with all 6 combo points. Blade flurry the small adds down. I used Lightblood elixir, which accounted for 25% of my total dmg. Priest Holy Legendary: Holy Leggings (the renew duration one). Gear: 910 ilvl. 2-pc antorus set. My weapon was 909 ilvl, hence my healing output was shit. But still doable. Talents: 1-1-2-1-1-1-1 Notes: One of the difficult ones for me. Use apotheosis on the 2nd last or last trash packs. Shackle undead the blade aoe and the mana stings. Dont be afraid to use guardian spirit. Use prayer of mending on CD. Keep renew on everyone. Disc Legendary: Same as holy. Gear: Same as holy. Talents: 1-3-2-3-1-3-1 Notes: The EASIEST challenge I've ever done in this game. one shot it. Pop all cds on pull, with lust. Destroy the hell out of the feltotem. Keep atonement on yourself and keep smite'n Shadow Legendary: Same as holy. Gear: 920 ilvl. 2-pc Antorus set bonuses. Talents: 1-2-1-2-1-1-3 Notes: I used surrender to madness when karam comes back from purgatory for the FIRST time. Do NOT use void form yet. I kept my dots on karam and the hand when it spawned. I casted my abilities while moving because of Surrender to Madness. I kited Karam to the edge of the arena where the hands' casts cannot hit/reach me. Once he was around 45-50% health, i poped Void form and dps'd the shit out of him while kiting him back to the middle of the arena. I put my dots up on the 2 hands that were active. At which point karam was at 33% and went into purgatory. I popped all my cds (power infusion, lust) and focused my entire damage on raest. I was healing all the damage i was taking by the 1 hand that was still alive. But i did not switch target as i wanted to kill raest asap. Use mind blast and void bolt on CD, mind flay as filler. I used Void torrent (artifact ability) when mind blast and void bolt were on cd to keep my insanity as high as possible. Then i weaved in shadow word: death in between void bolts. (Void bolt > shadow word death > void bolt > shadow word death > void bolt > mind blast > void bolt). This fight is very gear dependant. I was only at 15% haste but i managed by multidottting to generate as much insanity as possible. Paladin Holy Legendary: Prydaz. Gear: 910 ilvl. 2-pc NH set.4-pc ToS set. With crit food i was over 45% crit. Talents: 3-2-2-3-1-2-3 Notes: Beacon of Virtue is a blessing in the very last phase of the challenge. Use it after the bomb debuff goes off. Heal everyone back to full. Prydaz made the first part of the challenge easy as i didnt have to worry about my own health. Prot Legendary: Prydaz. Gear: Same as holy. Talents: 3-1-2-2-1-2-2 Notes: Make sure to interrupt the inquisitor using your arsenal. Stun, Repentance, rebuke and shield silence. Kite kruul on the outer edge. Keep kiting. If you stop moving, there is a high chance you'll be knocked off. Ret Legendary: Prydaz. Gear: Same as holy Talents: 1-1-2-2-1-1-1 Notes: Same strat as other specs with this challenge. Stack em up, pop lust + cds at the beginning and cleave as much as possible. Then use Repent on Sigryn when she casts blood of the father and leave her out of the fight for the duration. Monk Brewmaster Legendary: Sephuz Secret. Gear: 925 ilvl. 4-pc Antorus set. Talents: 1-1-3-2-1-2-2 Notes: Put down your teleport in the middle, in case you get knocked off. Use invoke nuizao during the 2nd or 3rd annihilation. Mistweaver Legendary: Soothing mist shoulders. Gear: 915. 2-pc antorus set. Talents: 1-1-3-3-1-3-2 Notes: Put down jade statue and keep channeling. Stun/Incap fixates, blade dances and mana stings. keep your hot up at all times. Windwalker Legendary: Touch of karma leggo. Gear: 900 ilvl. no set bonus. Talents: 2-1-2-3-1-3-3 Notes: One of the easiest challenges. Feel free to use touch of karma on one of his fel casts for added dps. Stun, interrupt or incap his casts as well. Pop all cds at the start. Kill eggs before they spawn into worms. Keep your health topped up. Heal yourself if need be. Very easy with how easily you can catch up on gear. Mage Arcane Legendary: Cord of Infinity. Gear: 910 ilvl. 4-pc Antorus set. Talents: 2-3-3-2-1-3-1 Notes: Keep your barrier up at all times, even if you have to stop dpsing for an extended amount of time. With the lack of heals, your barrier will be the only thing to save you. Use ALL cds including lust at the start and spam arcane explosion until lust ends. CC sigryn when she casts blood, and leave her out of the fight for the duration. use arcane blast for the movement speed increase to get the runes. Use your aoe root when the jarl enrages. Fire Legendary: Fire mage bracers. Gear: 915. 4-pc antorus set. Talents: 3-1-3-2-1-2-1 Notes: One of the easiest fights. I popped lust when she spawned the first set of adds. Used flamestrike when the adds spawned. Throughout the fight i would switch to adds that would spawn because of "Kindling" and use the proc to do instant flamestrikes to clear out all the adds. Did not use lightblood elixir but you can, and you should. It makes the fight trivial. Frost Legendary: Cord of infinity. Gear: 910 ilvl. 4-pc antorus set. Talents: 2-1-3-2-1-3-1 Notes: Overall a fairly easy fight. Use the adds that raest spawns to your advantage for instant blizzard casts by using frozen orbs. Your main objective is to keep the adds alive as much as possible for the instant blizzards AND fingers of frost procs. I killed karam first, then EASILY wiped out Raest. Fingers of frost procs will help a ton with killing the hands. Hunter Beast Mastery Legendary: Voodoo helm for the healing. Gear: 911 ilvl. no set bonus. Talents: 2-1-1-2-3-1-3 Notes: Very easy fight. Make sure you have a quilen or a turtle pet. Pop cds on pull + lust. FYI you can also freeze trap the worm when it's not underground. You can use that to interrupt it's sonic scream cast when Tugar is dead, which is what i did. If you have a Spirit beast that's based on tanking, use that. As spirit beasts have Spirit mend, a healing ability that you can macro to heal yourself. Marksman Legendary: Voodoo helm. Gear: 911. no set bonus. Talents: 1-1-1-1-1-2-2 Notes: One of the easier fights. Keep Karam slowed. Apply vulnerable and use Piercing shot on the hands with a full focus bar. It should almost one shot them. You can use freeze trap, biding shot or tar trap to keep karam slowed while you stand on runes. Survival Legendary: Apex Ring. Gear: 911 ilvl. no set bonus. Talents: 3-1-2-3-3-1-2 Notes: One of the easiest fights. Switch your pet's talent into tanking and keep growl and thunder stomp on. Use caltrops and explosive trap pretty much on cd. Most of the time your aoe traps will also damage the icicles. When icicles spawn, use butchery, then your heal, butchery again, disengage out and run over to the boss. You can also heal yourself once you're out of the aoe as the CD would've reset. During illusion phase, kill the nearest illusion, stand in the circle and let it heal you. Send your pet to an illusion that's somewhat far away, within your charge distance. Once the illusion has FINISHED casting it's ability, THEN you charge in. If the illusion gets a cast off on you while you are outside the bubble, you will be knocked back, and you'll likely die. Also, use FLARE as you're close enough to the real xylem. I didn't realize i had to use flare until i googled a guide. I thought it'd be like all the other classes where you have to run on the sparkly effect. Druid Balance Legendary: Eidrath bracers. Gear: 915 ilvl. no set bonus. Talents: 2-2-1-3-1-1-2 Notes: One of the more difficult fights, because of no slows and lack of burst. I used starfall to make a path for myself and cast while moving. I used Solar wrath pretty much most of the fight, instead of lunar strike because of the cast time. Use typhoon regularly. Use full moon on hands when possible. This fight, for this class, is gear dependant. Guardian Legendary: Eidrath bracers. Gear: 912 ilvl. no set bonus. Talents: 3-1-1-1-3-2-1 Notes: Fairly difficult. When kruul comes down, stop using Maul. Keep your ironfur up at all times. Cycle through your cds for annihilate. Interrupt twisted reflection. Most of all, kite kruul on the outer edge and dont stop moving. Spam moonfire if you have to, if he's too far away. Feral Legendary: Eidrath bracers. Gear: 908 ilvl. no set bonus. Talents: 1-3-1-3-3-2-2 Notes: Since my gear was so bad for feral. I used lightblood elixir. Accounted for 25% of my overall damage. Pop cds when the first set of adds spawn. Apply thrash bleed on all adds and use tiger's fury everytime an add dies. Keep regrowth on yourself from the instant casts. Resto Legendary: Eidrath bracers. Gear: 911 ilvl. no set bonus. Talents: 3-2-3-3-3-2-2 Notes: This was fairly easy. Bear form is THE BEST against fixates and blade dances. Seriously, you'll 'bear'ly take any damage. If you do take any damage, just use Frenzied regen and you'll heal back up nicely. I made sure to place efflore regularly, but it does cost alot of mana. I tried using Germination talent, but i absolutely hated having to spend 3-4 additional GCDs to put a 2nd set of rejuves on everyone. FYI, try to not use Bear form during the very last phase. Bear form = more hp = more dmg to your allies. Just make sure to use ursol's vortex on cd so YOU can control your hp during the fight. Keep moonfire and sunfire on the boss. Use ironbark on an ally if they need it. Use barksin on yourself before he leaps on you and if ursol's vortex is on CD. Demon Hunter Havoc Legendary: Tanking chest piece. One that heals + gives leech. and Cinidaria belt. Gear: 910 ilvl. 2-pc NH, 2-pc ToS. Talents: 3-3-2-2-3-2-3 Notes: Went with a demonic build, which wasn't as strong back in ToS tier. Laughably easy fight because of the tanking chest. Overall, this is piss easy for DHs. Vengeance Legendary: Soul ring + Cinidaria belt Gear: 913 ilvl. 2-pc NH, 4-pc ToS. Talents: 2-(2+3)-2-2-3-3-1 Notes: Easiest Kruul challenge i've ever done. Was never worried about falling or dying. One shot it. Death Knight Frost Legendary: Aggramar + Rethu. Gear: 915 ilvl. 2-pc Antorus. Talents: 3-2-1-3-1-3-2 Notes: Overall an easy fight. Used breath of Sindra on pull and kept it active until the spikes spawned, at which point Breath would clear out the first set of spikes. The next set i would use Remorseless winter + pillar of frost. If you're falling low on hp, use anti-magic shell + death strikes on the icicles. Unholy Legendary: Aggramar + Rethu Gear: 910 ilvl. 2-pc Antorus. Used gronntooth heirloom trinket + stat stick. Talents: 3-2-3-1-3-2-3 Notes: Piss easy. Spread diseases through outbreak + death and decay and win. I popped all my cds after the first set of adds spawn. I used Army of the dead + Apocalypse when agatha had 8 stacks of festering wounds, lust, pre-pot of prolonged power. Blood Legendary: Aggramar + Rethu Gear: 924 ilvl. 2-pc Antorus. Talents: 3-1-1-2-1-3-3 Notes: Probably the most difficult kruul challenge for me. Survivability was a non-issue, it was getting knocked off. But that was because it was my 2nd time fighting against Kruul. First time being on my Warrior. As described earlier, make sure to kite kruul on the outer edges and keep moving. You can pull kruul to yourself if need be. submitted by /u/Anvil-Gaming [link] [comments] |
