I know nothing of the financial logistics that could come from something like this, so I guess there's a good chance this would never happen due to those circumstances. I'm pretty sure I'm personally safe, but other people will still be "screwed over" basically. I know a lot of you might think "who cares". It's an issue that only impacts a small group of players, but for some of us it's very important. I loved CTF, and I really wanted the top 500 achievement. I fought my heart out and climbed a good way into the top 500 ranks. Just over 24 hours ago I was still at 394, but one game could drop me out. So I did the only reasonable thing, wait for the event to end! Except it's not ending. Scheduled to end on the 5th, it's now the 7th in many parts of the world, and well into the workday at Blizzard HQ on the 6th. Yet the event is still going. When will it end? Who knows! As I sit now at 493, I'm considering if I have to try and leave work early to attempt to get another game in (and pray I win). It's absurd that this situation exists, but that's reality. I know some people will say "you should have climbed higher" but it isn't easy climbing when you are already in top 500. It's really, really, hard. I'm not actually a professional at this game. That shouldn't matter though, because I achieved the conditions they said you needed to get. I was in the top 500 throughout the 5th of March no matter where in the world you want to measure the time from. I know there are Blizzard people who read this reddit. I'm begging you, walk over or call to the Overwatch team and remind them they are already late ending the event. Remind them that they put a competitive event with rewards based ENTIRELY on your end rank, so it's not OKAY to just randomly extend it like they do to other events. [link] [comments]  | ||
| Gamebreaking Bug - Double-click+Hold causes gun to jam for primary/secondary fire Posted: 06 Mar 2018 01:26 PM PST If I try to rapidly fire either of my mouse buttons in a double-click+hold pattern, as long as the double-click+hold happens within the span of ~0.25 seconds, primary/secondary fire just stops working. https://gfycat.com/HelpfulPeriodicAfricanparadiseflycatcher Downloaded Nohboard to confirm that my mouse inputs are being recognized (they are, video above)
Did a bit more testing;
The game isn't recognizing a mouseHeld/mouseReleased input, and just stops executing any further actions. I had two of my friends test it, and they're perfectly fine. It appears to be a bug with only Overwatch, and only a limited number of players are affected. Made a bug report thread here... I found a few threads in the old NA forums pointing to it being a trackpad issue, but I'm running a desktop. There's literally no trackpad setting in the Control Panel and Settings menus. Is anyone else having this issue, and does anyone have any suggestions to try to fix this particular issue? [link] [comments]  | ||

For example Moria spinning around wildly spraying health, Torb dead with his turret going nuts, or Pharah flying up for an ult and hitting a lamp post killing herself.
