| Creators of the Storm (Feb 24th 1-10pm EST) Posted: 21 Feb 2018 10:52 AM PST INTRODUCTIONAre you going to be in HGC withdraw this weekend? Need a Heroes of the Storm fix? Look no further. On Saturday February 24th, 2018 between 1pm and 10pm EST, all of your favorite content creators for Heroes of the Storm are getting thrown into mash up teams to take part in a fun tournament with crazy rule sets, great personalities and tons of giveaways on stream. The event is going to be cast by Cavalier Guest (coach of GFE), Kala (coach of Tempo Storm) and Bahamut (Heroes Hype Caster). This is an amazing opportunity to see your favorite Heroes of the Storm content creators duke it out in a very unique tournament.
Each game played will have it's own unique rule set. Game modes you can expect are Reverse Draft, Horde vs Alliance, All Supports, Ludicrous Speed, Peek-a-boo (fog of war off), Hyper Carry, Sexy Picards (ARAM) and more... We'll be starting the tournament off with a round robin from 1pm to 5pm, followed by a single elimination style tournament from 5pm to 10pm.

Posted: 21 Feb 2018 12:48 PM PST So I log into the new patch just now to queue a qm and low and behold "would you like to join voice chat" pops up - I didn't read patch notes so didn't realize the feature was in already.. Great I think anyways, join. Immediately following the opening qm mid lane brawl where 2 team mates die the silenced played spam pings lanes and then throws hate in voice chat... It makes the game so much more fun to crack jokes and coordinate verbally! I believe the level of skill in this game will go through the roof. In games were normally people would be toxic they instead are just silent in chat. It is much harder to be mean to someone if you are talking to each other with voices as opposed to using a near anonymous text chat. Text chat always looks the same, always the same font, Voice chat also seems to reduce text chat toxicity. Hearing the other person's voice reminds people that they are playing with other humans. TL;DR: It is much harder for people to be toxic to others if they hear the other person's voice; not impossible, but much less likely to happen [link] [comments]  | ||
| Rehgar's 13 talent no longer scales with level Posted: 21 Feb 2018 01:58 PM PST Rehgar's 13 talent, Earthliving Enchant, no longer scales/increases healing over time per level. I don't see this change documented anywhere, and heroes wiki still says +4% per level. I was playing brawl as rehgar, and having that talent is pretty good. But it's healing numbers were stuck at 40/sec and I don't remember it being that way. (I remember it was 333 at level 13, or something around that; big boost). [link] [comments]  | ||

What ensued was 73 minutes of me trying to take out the human factor and push the lanes. Eventually the other human player decided enough was enough and let me end. Diablo 2 is my childhood (pretty dark for a kid, but whatever) and since the alpha I been here waiting for them. I didn't give up on the day I could play as one of those creepy bosses. | Amazing draft experience with in-game voice chat Posted: 21 Feb 2018 03:38 PM PST Me and my friend decided to try out voice chat in unranked draft to test out our settings and the potential game quality. We had another party join us during the draft and had an amazing experience with strangers. We all talked about drafts and bans before they happened and were on par with the macro/lane phase of early game. We eventually turned it into a stomp and nobody on the team died the entire game. I was skeptical of the in-game voice chat about trolls or immature players, but I was 100% sold after the quality of one game with strangers. /kudos blizzard [link] [comments]  | ||

| Hero Specific Loot Chests need to be more rewarding Posted: 20 Feb 2018 09:52 PM PST For the past few weeks I've been trying to get a lot of my heroes to at least level ten, some to 20. But I'm so tired of getting a duplicate voiceline or spray as a reward when I get that hero loot chest. Even when I spend coins to reroll, the best I can get is a rare skin majority of the time. I think hero loot chest need to have a guarantee high rarity drop to reward that 10 level increase milestone. [link] [comments]  | ||
