TIL the true purpose of sun spells

Posted: 09 Jan 2018 02:16 PM PST

As vampires may attack you in the urban area, it's not wise to swing your clunky two-handed weapons or your AOE Destruction spells. You may hit a civilian and get a bounty. Sun spells have no effect on the living, making it perfect for those situations.

Is it worth jumping on the Skyrim train this late?

Posted: 09 Jan 2018 08:00 PM PST

I remember getting Skyrim on PS3 but didn't get into it. Think it was because of the unstable 30 fps on console. Was also kinda bugged to learn something new since I've spent most of my gaming time on RuneScape and CS. Also pirated it but my pc was too weak at the time.

I now own a "monster" pc and can probably do Skyrim just fine. Can someone convince me to jump on the Skyrim train? Also some starter tips. What makes the game so epic?

Beginners advice?

Hey guys, I'm getting Skyrim in 4 days. I know nothing, didn't even watch gameplay (not to ruin the gameplay for me) So I'm entering the world of Skyrim, any advice?

New player looking for some tips..

Posted: 10 Jan 2018 01:09 AM PST

Believe it or not I just purchased Skyim and playing it for the first time on my PS4 pro. The game is absolutely amazing, but it's so large and is such a huge undertaking I have absolutely no idea how to flesh out my character.

I'm aiming for a mage, and so far I've been fleshing out Destruction/conjuration. Any tips on how to flesh out a build like this are totally welcome.

Another question is about money. I've heard there are ways to use alchemy early game to become flush with coin, but not sure exactly what potions early game are obtainable to make in large quantities and sell. Any tips on this would also be appreciated. Thanks in advance for any help offered!

TIL about torchbash

Posted: 09 Jan 2018 01:27 PM PST

Shield bashing while blocking with a torch lights the enemy on fire. Awesome at early levels
