Hi Reddit! Been a while since I've done one of these. At the end of last year, we announced the major shake-up of the Splyce League of Legends team. We have a new squad, new coaching staff and an even bigger drive to take the European crown.

My background:

I have a degree in theatre and spent 10 years traveling and working in the entertainment industry (theatre/film/TV) in New York City. I worked 5 years in manufacturing before starting to work in esports as a hobby five years ago. I became frustrated with how difficult it was to find out what matches were coming up in esports and decided that I could fix this issue, which brought me to found Followesports.com (now Splyce.gg) with my college roommate and wife. Since then, we put all our efforts around our pro teams and are now focused on creating the best esports experience for fans in the world.

If you haven't seen my letter about 2018 to our fans, I recommend giving it a quick once over. It may answer some of your questions about where we expect to do better in 2018 and what our priorities are. I will also openly admit that I'm a novice at League of Legends as a player, but I'm smart enough to know where my weaknesses are and find incredible people to fill those gaps. Peter Dun and his coaching staff are far better equipped to answer questions about how the roster is performing, why one player over another and in-game specifics. I am, however, the ultimate person responsible to every every employee at our company for a paycheck, so I do take the build and infrastructure of our team very seriously and can speak a lot on very high level conceptual stuff and business background much more clearly than what macro style we might play on the Rift.
