New Feature Idea: World Bosses

I Don't know If this has been posted yet. But me and my friend thought of it, so I thought why not post it here.

Now I'll explain the way this feature would work.

• Each Destination would have 1 Boss for each enemy race found there. Edz would have fallen, cabal, and taken. Io would have vex, cabal, and taken. Nessus would have cabal, vex, and fallen. Titan would hive and fallen Mercury would have vex and cabal.

• there would only be 1 world boss active each week and would be connected to the active flashpoint.

• the world boss would be chosen randomly.

• each destination would have an armor and weapon set associated with the world bosses.

• each boss would have 1 weapon from each weapon slot they could drop.

• each boss would also have either a ghost, ship, or sparrow as well as an exclusive shader and emote only from that boss.

• world boss Loot could be obtained 1 time per day

• Cayde would now sell special boons that give 1 bonus item from the boss for 50 legendary shards, this item would only be purchasable 2 times per week.

• Cayde would now also rotate his inventory each week with the corresponding world boss armor set that can be purchased with new World Boss Tokens and Legendary shards. These armor sets would only be purchasable and would be quite expensive.

• each world boss would also drop mods exclusive to them that are powerful in their own right.

• each world boss would have an exotic exclusive to that boss and can't be dropped anywhere else.

• this system would be separated from public events. Each boss would have 2-3 pre-determined spawn points and would triggered similarly to court of oryx and archon's forge but wouldn't require any item. For example, the taken world boss in the EDZ would be located in the dark forest or in the Plaza east of trostland.

• there would be a special item that triggers the heroic boss fight, this would guarantee a masterwork item and a special emblem for each boss. This would be more difficult than the standard fight by adding more mechanics and slightly more health.

NOTE: These bosses are intended to be VERY difficult, requiring multiple fireteams to defeat, upwards of 3-4. I would love for it to require like 24 people, but getting that many people to show up would probably be difficult.

I put a lot of time into this and I know this is unlikely to be put into the game, but i still wanted to post it in the hopes that it will. These bosses are meant to increase variety of flashpoints and would give 50-100% of milestone progress. Please up vote this in the hopes that bungie will see it.

Is there an old infinite forest gateway on Nessus?

While in the Cistern, I noticed a tower that looks just like the gateways of the infinite forest on Mercury. Is it possible that the vex tried to create their reality machine on Nessus first and failed? Why would there be a doorway here?

The doorway leads to the well of flames, but do the vex use this design for more than just gateways? https://imgur.com/gallery/CkX2r

Destiny 2 just made two weeks with my long distance partner even more fun than I could imagine.

My long distance partner came to visit a couple of weeks ago from Canada, and for a while I've been asking her to try Destiny with me. Unfortunately, due to a lack of equipment on her end and conflicting schedules, our game time hasn't been that readily available.

However, I upgraded to a new computer, and so, when she came to visit, I set up my old PC, and bought her the Destiny 2 bundle. We have absolutely adored every second.

Although we only played for two weeks, we managed to get through both campaigns, adventure through as many strikes as we could muster, absolutely fail at PVP, and even attempt a run of the Leviathan (we managed to complete the Gauntlet!).

It has been one of the best two weeks of my life, and our time together hanging out in the Tower and guiding her through the story has been an absolute blast. I won't be able to see her for another 4 months now, but she says that she wants to try and get a new computer so we can fill that time with Destiny.

I know a lot of people have had issues with Destiny recently, including myself. But, I have made memories in this game with my significant other, and frankly, it has made our time together that much more special.

there is so little reason to play this game for once you have seen everything a 1000 times. i love the game but coming from other mmos what i rly miss is the grind for rare items such as colours or other cosmetics... and i dont mean to grind for a chance! i mean to put in x amount of time and effort to get what i want. its such a small change which would make the game so much better! it drives me crazy that apparently they make more money this way even with all the bad press and people leaving the game...
