Casual Super Silver scrub Ken here.

Online, I'm obviously nothing much. Read the gief's gym, practiced the basics, play on pad and do okay whenever I manage to get some time in.

Went to local arcade in Phoenix (Cobra Arcade Bar). Place is packed with a line out the door. The games are mostly popular classics, and the fighting game list is the best in town. They have SF2, SF3S, SFA3, and SFV.

I figured, hey give it a shot. I can't play on stick worth a damn, but maybe I'll win a round!

I got in line with a group of five or six guys. My turn rolls around, I put two tokens in and pick Ken.

TWO HOURS go by. I never lost. New people started watching, gathering around and challenging me. Stacked on top of each other, sweat and body odor engulfed me but I kept my head in the game.

I couldn't do anything fancy. Just basic meaty setups, simple hit confirm, target combo, anti airs sometimes. That was it.

Ended up 45 wins in a row before the blisters got to me. I made a pile of new friends in the process, and gave away all my tokens as I left, since I didn't need them. :)

Sometimes you forget just how strong this community is compared to most people that play fighting games. I'm a total bum around here, but out there in the real world, just for tonight, I was a somebody. People were so nice to me and I felt like a hero.

And it's all thanks to the guidance I got on here!

Anyhow, I just wanted to say I appreciate you guys so much. Goodnight.

So recently I figured out that all costumes in the shop with the exception of story and battle outfits have an easter egg alteration when holding LP+MP+HP+LK+UP during the loading screen before a match (with the exception of Urien thong, which is LP+MK+HP). While shopping for additional costumes, I've been having a hard time finding what the alterations looked like as there was no convenient list showing them all. So, I decided to create that very list. If you, like me, are curious about what the easter egg costume looks like to help your shopping judgement (or just curious in general), maybe this list will help you.

As a side note, all characters with 3 or more easter egg costumes are provided with an album for convenience.

Also, I apologize for the formatting - I'm really bad at that. The links are spaced out so that mobile users can tap the links easier.

Best advice for a Street Fighter noob coming from Tekken?

Seeing as I pre-ordered SFVAE, I should probably ask: what's some advice that you have for me as a Tekken novice? Is there anything that I should note or take into account before playing SFV?

Also: is Cammy a good character to learn the game with, considering she was my main in USFIV? Which character(s) would you recommend for my playstyle (which has an emphasis on pressure, aggression, and punishment)?

Especially the demonstrations which gives over 25k FM(combined) and are very quick. Storymode on Hard 50k FM. Atleast all chars on easy and normal survival. Some Trials are very easy like Birdies, Lauras, Mikas, Eds and Cammy Vol 2.

So the set up is

Ex. HB>VT>light tackle> Fw Mp> VT Reset > Back throw> Cr. Hp> light HB >Cr. Hp> ex.fb> tackle or f mp reset.

Now the problem is that I keep getting heavy hb instead of light. I feel like its negative edge but I dont understand, I only tap hp. Any advice? I play on ps4 pad.
