And it's weekend now so this will probably not be fixed by next patch at the earliest... Blizzard, REMOVE BUGGED HEROES FROM BEING AVAILABLE FOR PLAY........... EDIT: Might as well share the bug, fair play and all.

| My home was destroyed in the California wild fire. Posted: 09 Dec 2017 07:22 PM PST I'm at loss for words, we lost everything. We have however found a temporary place to stay. My little sister is a huge blizzard fan and loves to play heroes of the storm with me. I will be busy at work but she is stuck in a hotel room due to the damage the fire has inflicted on her school. I was wondering if anyone could help point me in the direction of an affordable laptop that will play this game. I don't have much to spend at the moment but I know it would make the situation much more bearable for her as she is only 12 years old. Any help or information would be much appreciated, and thank you for your time. (Edit: I assume people want proof but I found out watching my house burn on T.V., and watching a top down view of the remains used repeatedly by the news stations. Because of the ongoing fires in the Bonsall area I am still not allowed to go see the burnt remains of my home which was located on Paso Del Lagos in Bonsall California. | Hard CC counters heroes moreso than others Posted: 09 Dec 2017 02:25 PM PST Lots of people seem to think that high mobility heroes, specifically Genji and Tracer, are obnoxious to play against due to lack of counters (which borderline sounds like complaining they are OP, but that's besides the point), and whenever someone points out that point click hard CC counters them there's always another remarking how CC counters everyone. I just don't get why people suggest that CC counter Tracer and Genji as hard as CC counters a KT... Genji and Tracer rely on their mobility to avoid damage, and to destroy the backline, while KT can stand in his backline to deal damage. So when Genji and Tracer are hit by CC, they are in much more vulnerable positions than when a KT is, as KT probably has 2+ frontliners peeling and bodyblocking, while Tracer and Genji are in close melee range. Quick Match thinks it's fair to pit a team with three supports against a team with one support. Turns out the team with no damage ends up at a disadvantage very early into the game. So, what gives? Posted: 09 Dec 2017 08:26 PM PST Was just testing something out in Try Mode when I noticed that when I completed the quest for Hunter Gatherer he didn't have any additional armor on his character sheet. I tried testing how much damage Misha took from the boss before and after completing the quest to check if it was just a tooltip error but as far as I can tell they're not gaining the armor upon completing the quest anymore. The heroes that cause this complaining also have bad win rates but are annoying to play against. | Posted: 09 Dec 2017 09:07 AM PST Some people have posted recently about how they plan to "edge" heroes, or getting them almost leveled in anticipation of the Winter Event boxes. Well, finding a 3 day Stimpack over Thanksgiving weekend, combined with one of the most EXP efficient events in HotS history, the Braxis Brawl, I might have gone just a little bit overboard with this. At my count that is 37 heroes at less than 150K Exp to go before leveling, with most of them requiring far less. More, if I count Alexstrasza who I will probably buy and level to 5 during the event. Let's just say, I've been playing since 2015 but have yet to get any of the Winter skins, and I want to get my paws on some Jaina Claus... Post your edgy roster screenshots! Are you too edgy for me? Over 6 months I got from silver 4 to platinum 5, through practice, reading forums, reading here, etc. I had a 10 wins over loss ratio. In the last two weeks, the player base has... Changed? I have a less than 5% win rate in the last two weeks. I've dropped from platinum 5 to gold 3. I've seen more people intentionally throwing (literally announcing they are throwing, "enjoy bronze league") I've seen assassins with less than 10k hero damage in a 30 minute game. I saw a malfurion die 19 times. I'm not saying I'm never to blame. In 30 or so games, I've been the sole reason for a loss probably 5 times. But the general quality of team members seems to have done into the toilet. What is it that the trolls and terribads are out in full force? [link] [comments]  | ||

Because blizzard are also creating a mountain of emojis, protraits and sprays, the Christmas loot boxes are still pretty unlikely to give you the skin you want. So really, your best bet is shards. Most likely you are going to end up needing to farm shards to get the specific stuff you want anyway. And if you want shards, then I recommend farming regular lootboxes. Because you are going to have more duplicates in the regular lootboxes than in the Christmas ones. Which means, that you should be trying to get (and open) as many lootboxes as possible before the event starts. So do the opposite of edging. [link] [comments]  | ||
