Heya folks,

We are currently investigating the missing inventory and inability to build issue due to the fallout from our faulty backend node yesterday (12/27). If you are still experiencing issues when attempting to build please reach out to our player support team, and we can help you out.

NOTE: You must be logged out of Fortnite when contacting Player Support for us to assist in fixing the issue!
 
We messed up and plan to do right by you, we'll have more details on a make good for those affected.
 
Thank you for patience throughout the duration of this issue, and we will make this right!
 
UPDATE:

A fix for folks who are unable to build will be going live later today.

For those of you who have lost inventory items or had issues with v-buck purchases, we believe we've identified the affected players and are now working to finalize compensation likely to go out later this evening.

Unfortunately, for those who have lost inventory items we may be unable to restore them, but we will make that right as apart of our make good.

UPDATE 2:

Hey all, we are actively compensating players who have encountered the missing v-bucks/inventory issue right now. If you are missing v-bucks, you should be compensated within the next few hours. For those of you that have run into the missing inventory issue, you can expect your compensation tomorrow, December 29.

If you have been affected by either of these issues than you should notice compensation coming in soon. If you do not, please let us know in the comments below.

I'm sorry but I can't really see how you can possibly make good on me losing all of my mats, items, and resources. Months worth.

I have now become that person I hate to see on here complaining, but this is just rediculous. This was the first, and certainly last time I'm ever spending real money on a game outside the sticker price.

The game has been in development for eight goddamn years, sick of hearing the "Early Access" excuse.

You are able to break anomaly shards with ninja abilities.

You are not able to damage them with weapons anymore, but you can still do with shurikens (and dragon slash if you can hit them). Not sure if anyone is aware of this

Press x to search

I don't know if everyone knows about this but there is a option to tap to search in your settings. Turn it on and press y to apply. It allows you to press x and search instead of holding down x. Iv known about it forever but have only told my friends. Hope this helps at least 1 person :)

How do I level up?

Combat Pro in PVE

Currently we can't implement combat pro onto pve because the LB and RB are already being used for class powers.

So here's how I think the controls should be set up so we can have combat pro for pve:

Start: open menu Select: open inventory LB: change weapon left RB: change weapon right LT: aim RT: fire Y: pickaxe B: build/cancel A: jump X: reload/craft ammo Left stick: move Click left stick: sprint Right stick: look Click right stick: use power Up: map Down: emotes Left: change power left Right: change power right

Instead of having a button for each power, we can select powers with the Dpad and execute them with the right stick since there's no need to crouch in Pve.

Change the store over to crafting materials and have all the crafting items in the store at like 1 gold coin.

Mythic Heroes

just got my first mythic yesterday ("Ken") and just asking is there something special against the normal legendary Heroes?

I thought these Ultra rare mythic Heroes are Uber Heroes but at first glance it does not look like.

any more infos about them? Pros and Cons? Worthwile?

Any official statement about the Raider Nomad not unlocking at/after collection book lvl 100 ?

The last patch introduced a new legendary hero, the Raider Nomad, who can only be unlocked by reaching collection book lvl 100. I was 100 when the patch was deployed on december 14, and haven't got my Raider Nomad hero. (Now i'm 104 and still don't get it)... Contacted the support the 12/14 and the only real answer I got from now is to report the bug ingame. (Answered the 12/25). So I wonder if there is any official statement on this bug ? If I have to do a specific mission for a quest, there should always be one available on the map.

I need to do a category one, two, or three storm mission, and there hasn't been one on my map for a couple of days. It makes it essentially impossible to progress, and it's really been hindering my game experience.

Standard Pack doesn't work

I bought the standard ingame on Ps4

After the purchase I wanted to start PvE, but it doesn't work... There's the same 50% if I click on it a message appears, that there are no more options to buy... Now I paid 20€ for nothing?

PSN support couldn't really help me out.

Hope you know something more.
