[idea] New premium item: Amulet Coin. Double the items received at Pokestops for a half hour

In the main series games this item gives double money after victories if your Pokemon is holding it. Paying coins for extra coins makes no sense, but I would surely pay for double item drops for a half hour.

It would work like the lucky egg and star pieces works. A half hour of gym spins where stuff drops for double the rate! A base of 6 drops from each Pokespin!

I know a lot of you live downtown in big cities where your items are continually replenished. And that's fine, good for you. But in a lot of parts of the world, including mine, the Pokemon to Pokestop ratio is WAY off. It forces players on my side of town to drive 20 downtown to "restock" often, just to have enough balls to play the game. I personally do it once a week. Something like this would make that time go much quicker and would alievaite some of the Pokestop to Pokemon ratio issues we face.

The redistribution of pokeballs has really helped, but it's still a long way off, especially with extra spawn points being used for weather boosted Pokemon now. If Pokestop submissions is still not in the immidiate future, something like this would go a long way for the suburban/non-downtown city player.

[Idea] Building a Pokemon GO weather forecasting app, looking for feedback

Kinda new to reddit posts so my apologies if I'm not doing this totally correct... I really like Pokemon GO and the weather, so I'm working on adding a Pokemon boosted types forecast into the Outsmrt weather app. As you can see in the images, I've made some point forecasts in the app (https://i.imgur.com/a2a3mIA.png, https://i.imgur.com/f5ykJAc.png) and have also made some maps (https://i.imgur.com/2K1vZYi.png, https://i.imgur.com/OciHyHE.png) for testing purposes, although spoofers seem to like them quite a bit. I'm looking for some feedback if you guys think this is useful or for additional features you guys might want.

[Question] How Rare Are Wynaut and Azumarill?

I have hatched since 450 eggs since December 9 with the majority of them being 5km eggs.

I have hatched zero Wynaut and only one Azurill which was on December 9.

So I would say I have hatched 430 eggs with no Gen 3 baby. Has anyone else got a worse ratio?

EDIT: Fixed Azurill instead of Azurillmaril.

[Question] I just noticed something weird with Pokestops...

I live in a town in New York State that is, for lack of a better description, sandwiched between several cities. The cities have a proliferation of Pokestops and Gyms, but the towns do not. In fact, the particular stretch of highway I work on has Pokestops that are as much as a half mile apart in places.

Makes playing the game kind of an interesting prospect, but that's not the point of this post...

I bring this up to frame the "something weird" of the title: Last night, and this morning, every Pokestop on the highway was lured.

These are Pokestops in the middle of nowhere. They're not even near other Pokestops.

But it gets weirder.

Every one, every single one, was lured by a user with random letters and numbers as their names.

I can provide screenshots if you require proof (but it will have to wait, as I am at work and will not have the time to figure out how to get them from my phone to here), but in the meantime, has anyone else seen this and does anyone know what the heck is going on???

No more Teddiursa?

I recently just moved to a new place, and was happy to find out that there was what seemed to be a Teddiursa nest (my favorite Pokémon) outside my door, I could catch one at least every hour. I've noticed in the passed week in a half that there has been no more Teddy spawns, does Pokémon Go stop producing pokemon after a certain time?

I have 13 king's rocks, and the least I have is 5 sun stones. What do you think should be done with the excess evolutionary items? I think we should be able to exchange evolutionary items with coins, kind of like how you sell nuggets in the games.

Pokemon Go Plus

I started playing again now that the 3rd gen is out, so I dug out my PoGo Plus. I can't get it paired to my phone. I followed Niantic's troubleshooting guide but haven't got it. Anybody have a suggestion, other than buying a new one?

Mewtwo Raid 2.0

[Question] Daily level 37 player here with 200+ legendary raids logged, silver/gold badges at several of the local parks/sponsored stops nearby but still no EX raid pass. I've got friends and relatives who've received 2-3 passes. No spoofing/botting. Just wondering now with Gen 3 in the mix what is the current optimal Mewtwo team and what is the optimal alternate Mewtwo team? Up to now I've had (Team A) 6 Tyranitar with Bite/Crunch and an alternate (Team B) with Dragonites, Gengars and Pinsirs with the right alt move sets.

Constant GPS not found error

Is there a fix for this error. I live in a city, with full bars of service and wifi, but i still get the errors almost constantly. Its killing the game for me.

Tracking Pokemon Release Dates

In addition to tracking the changes to the Game_Master, Battle Calculator is taking action from community requests to track the actual availability of Pokemon.

  • Availability in this sense refers to the public release of the Pokemon.
  • Pokemon availability is managed server-side, using statistical parameters taken from the GM.
  • This will also assist us in updating our 'legacy moves' chart accurately.

Torchic?

Is it just me, or do Torchics usually have low IV stats? Do I have to evolve them until they get a good IV stat? Out of all 20 of them I caught, none seem to have higher than a 75 percent.
