Can EU servers have maintenance at more suitables hours? Posted: 01 Dec 2017 08:23 AM PST Hey, each time there is update/maintenance in Destiny 2, like today, it's on very bad hours in EU. It starts at 6 PM and it lasts untill midnight, so basicly you get back from work/school just to learn, for whole rest of a day nobody in EU will play the game untill tommorow. Can we get different hours for this, like more suitable for players? [link] [comments]

Posted: 01 Dec 2017 08:23 AM PST It is Friday evening (6pm) right now here, I just home from work hoping to play a couple hours before I head off but NOPE there is a 6hour maintenance. 8AM PST is 4PM GMT which means for most of Europe this takes our whole evening on a Friday, which is a bummer. Just to clarify this is not a vent or anything, I absolutely love this game. [link] [comments]

Let Us See Our Teammates on the Map Posted: 01 Dec 2017 06:57 AM PST This really is the only design decision that's a bit of a head scratcher for me. It's only an issue while questing on planets while in a Fireteam, but it's a huge and constant issue while questing on planets with a Fireteam - especially while hopping from Public Event to Public Event. The moment one person fast travels the next few minutes become a game of "Yo, where you at?!" and someone always gets turned around/goes to the wrong location/misunderstands directions and ends up missing the event. There are times we've gotten so scattered or are so far away from one another it's quicker to go back to orbit than to find one another, which is disruptive to game flow. Is it the end of the world? Not really. But it's a constant annoyance that could be eliminated simply by allowed players to see where their teammates are when they pull up the map, even if we aren't given the ability to fast travel to them (which would be great, though). Just an arrow that shows their name when you hover over it as all I'm asking. I am sure me and my clan are not alone in this, and hope y'all upvote this enough that maybe Bungie addresses it in an upcoming patch. Thanks. [link] [comments]

Posted: 01 Dec 2017 04:44 AM PST What is that writing in the game? There were already so many cringy lines or forced "jokes". Does it get any better or that is how it will be during the whole game? [link] [comments]

What everyone's favorite lore flavor text so far? Posted: 01 Dec 2017 06:44 AM PST I think my favorites so far have to be sweet business and skull of dire ahamkara. Seriously, whoever is writing the lore flavor text needs a damn award. Sweet Business: "...I love my job." "Hope you're happy!" That's all I remember hearing' afore she ran out in front of us. It was like somethin' out of a pre-Golden Age war flick, you know, where the hero's bud goes out in a blaze of glory so their death can be rightly avenged. Only she didn't die. They did. The weapon reeled like it was bein' held by a child doin' a pee-pee dance, aimin' at nothing and hittin' everythin'. Dem spiders skittered for their lives. When she stopped, nothin' was moving. She saved us. I sidled up to her, real slow, checking out the piece and all I could do was sputter, "That there, that's some... sweet business." She looked me over cold, lowered the gun and said, "You ain't gotta tell me." Skull of Dire Ahamkara: Reality is the finest flesh, oh bearer mine. And are you not... Hungry? "OH BEARER MINE." What kind of talking skull would address it's host that way? A stiff, stuck-up old fossil, not me. Ahamkara: the illusion that one's ego depends on an object, or an idea, or a body. Some people say you should have no ahamkara. Sone people say you need to have the right ahamkara. All I know is that YOU are not an illusion. Understand? This world around you, the people you meet-they're a little thin, right? Cardboard and drywall. Cheap theater. Come on, try it out! Say: "I am more real then this." Feels good, doesn't it? "I am the only real person here." Isn't it like their insults and their bullets just went a little... soft? I came to find you, only you, because you're special. You're from somewhere real. And together we can burn our way back there. Can't we, o player mine? [link] [comments] |
