We have been experiencing a lot of down-growth since the original announcement of Destiny 2 and we have reached a point where we believe we need some new staff members to join the mod team as the old mods have moved on to other hobbies.

We will be reviewing everyone's applications and choose 3 new moderators by Friday evening. Any previous experience being a mod will strongly be considered.

If Destiny 2 is a game that will no longer interest you in a few weeks time, please move on. Unfortunately passion for the game is a must. People tend to move on from their mod post the second they find another game to play.

Sorry that we haven't been as active as we should. I'm hoping to change that in the coming week.

All i see on YouTube is video saying that destiny is dead and we have no move on from the game and bla bla bla. Screw those guy i enjoy this game so much you have no clue to me its a pretty good game not perfect yes ( but anyway what game is parfect ) and i see the upcomming update and im more and more excited about the game.

is anyone feeling that way too or im the only one still enjoying the game ?

I love Crimson to death (im sorry but it had to be somewhere) and I like the idea of Red Death being a hand cannon. Of course it is not effective in everything and there are better Kinetic choices and Exotic choices but I still go back to it.

The whole idea of bringing back D1 exotics but as different gun types just makes me interested in what else they can do. One I can think of is making Bad Juju an actually Scout Rifle instead of a Pulse Rifle and change the Hip Fire perk to something like Rampage... that would be so good.

What do you guys think?

So I know I'm a little late to the party but I need some advice Reddit.

I thought I would't miss Destiny after giving it up once I reached 320 light(the grind got repetitive). But here I am, picked up Destiny 2 Monday and just finished the campaign.

I mained titan in D1 for a couple reasons: 1) Everyone played hunter 2) Weapons of Light in raids 3) Sunbreaker in solo PVE missions was amazing. But with the updates to the classes I'm not sure if titan is the pick anymore.

I read that Warlocks are strong now? Hunter fans is Nightstalker still good? Titans I read that pulse grenades were amazing in august, does that hold true still? What's Reddit think? I'm looking for PVE only, never been a PVP fan.

So a lot of destiny 2 pvp is based on team firing time to kill him but normal rpg games a assist is where u shoot someone they retreat and then someone else finishes them off and it's not nessasary to team fire

The mods on this sub are lazy tbh. They never pin relevant info and don't enforce the subs. We need some more responsible people as mods, who can put the effort to at least pin a large update(like today's) I was shocked when today's update wasn't pinned and proved to me that some more responsible mods are needed. They won't even unpin months old info for crying out loud

I am a raid virgin myself,but i want to try the raid i just got 330 power and looking for chill people to try this. If you watched tutorials and have a little bit of understanding on what is going on you can join. If you have social anxiety that is a plus. Not looking to do it today,maybe later this week or in the weekend. Can t quit my job for the raids :D. Let s see if we can gather people for one raid.

I have to say I'm pretty pleased with this addition to the game. My and my buddie never have done the raid. I hopped into the tower and just started talking with a random person and then all the sudden we were doing the raid and it was an extremely awesome experience. I feel like public chat is a huge step in the right direction. 10/10 bungo

There are no pins for relevant information. Dev updates and reset info should be pinned at a minimum.

Does putting on a single modifier add to the multiplier? Doesn't seem like it does.

I always jump on every Tuesday to get my Call to Arms milestone done across my three characters, but last night's run was so much worse than usual. Prior to this I've run into maybe 1 AFK-hole in the past month or so, last night I had to deal with them in at least 4 separate matches. I reported them in-game, who knows if it'll do anything? Anyway, I get people are unhappy with the game and don't want to play, but what's the point of jumping into a Crucible match and sitting there AFK? Do you actually progress in your weekly milestones? Is there better stuffs offered for doing this or something?

Bungie, please fix this ... Overwatch has a pretty no-nonsense AFK timer that boots you out pretty quickly - granted it's a pretty low bar but surely you can implement at least that?! I'm actually amongst the few that enjoyed the Crucible these past few months, but not enough to put up with more of this crap!

I play that game the most and also would like some help lvling and complete the story let me know. I have all my Guardians at level 25 and they're all 300-plus I have 335 Hunter 320 I think Warlock and a 311 Titan. So I have been playing for some time.

I remember reading something about soloing nightfalls with scoreboards, is it active yet? Is there any point doing normal or prestige alone?

The more players that stop playing the more often I find I'm constantly getting matched up against teams of 4 with very high ELO relative to my team.

It's never 4 high-ELO players vs 4 high-ELO players. It's always 4 high-ELO players vs 4 low/average ELO players.

I'm platinum in 2 different game modes, the rest are gold. Overall I'm a gold ELO. I'm constantly getting paired with silvers and bronzes and finding I'm up against platinum almost every time.

I honestly preferred having the occasional lag-dude to this, can we please get SOME skill-based matchmaking back?

Edit: since I've written this post I've been actively testing to see how many games I have to join before I get a fair match. So far 7 games have all been matched against 2-4 platinum ELO, not one person on the opposing team has been under gold ELO. Not a single person on my team out of those 7 matches has been platinum. I'm going to upload an album of pictures taken from Destiny Tracker to prove how bad this is. Out of the 7 matches I joined ever single one of them had at least 1 player on my team leave as well. 3 of those 7 games I joined were half-finished stompings.

I'm a fervent proponent of Destiny 2, I've been arguing with a lot of people on this subreddit about how we need to give Bungie a chance, and how Destiny 2 is still not as bad as people make it seem, etc.

Regardless, one of my biggest arguments with Destiny 2, that isn't "We had this in Destiny 1, why don't we have it here?!" is the lack of things to do in these massive areas.

I'm not sure if any of you have looked around, but if you go to Titan and you look at the Arcology from Siren's Watch or The Rig, you can see the Arcology is MASSIVE (and you can see it inside as well), and you can see large hive structures spanning all over the place. Yet, we go in there for ONE strike, and it doesn't even show us anything. There's so much potential with that area, but Bungie just lets us go in for a strike, a couple campaign quests, and the Rat King quest.

If you go to Firebase Hades in the EDZ, you can see how MASSIVE the Cabal base is. In many aspects, it resembles a fortress or citadel, but Bungie didn't think of including an activity that resembles a siege or infiltration mission. Not like a Heroic Strike, but as a unique activity you can do in the map with a fireteam. It's such a large area, with so many unanswered questions, and I refuse to believe Bracus Zahn is the only thing Bungie can create to occupy that massive citadel. Yet I can't even get there due to the kill barrier.

Unique events/activities that allow us to explore the massive/mysterious locations Destiny 2 has. That's what I want. Something that allows us to explore those massive areas and gives us an objective. Something new that isn't simply "kill x enemies to get to the boss".

Something that allows us to explore and get loot in these massive, unused areas.

It's annoying because I can stand in the EDZ, and I can see this massive fortress, and the only thing I can do in it is the Heroic Strike I've done fifty times already. It looks so cool, intimidating, daunting, and mysterious. I want to explore it, but I can't, because there's nothing to do in it. If you try to use your sparrow to get there, you get a kill barrier telling you to turn back.
