What if they introduced a wonder that let you work 4 tiles away instead of 3 in one city?

Too strong? What penalties should it have?

Here I am trying to win a peaceful victory and then Gandhi has to come settle at the most annoying spot

This is the first time I've ever had an entire continent to me, with no opponents or city-states...

Finally got Augustus Caesar Victory Score at 2764

With the new Diplomacy features coming in Rise and Fall, I would love to see multilateral alliances/unions implemented in the game.

Reading the summaries of the new content and features coming in Civ VI's Rise and Fall DLC really made me excited for the game. I haven't picked it up yet because I got into Civ V fairly recently so to me there's still a lot to enjoy. But the one thing I've always wanted is more in depth diplomacy.

I would love to create multilateral military alliances like NATO/WARSAW PACT or political and economic unions like the EU. Maybe civs who shared a similar ideology would band together towards the end game for survival or splinter apart and be picked off by the largest union of civs. Maybe a new Victory setting could involve your Union or Alliance gaining primacy throughout the globe by having others collapse (like the USSR). Just the idea of working with a group of Civs in concert with one another rather than on a bilateral level sounds so appealing to me.

Just my personal thoughts and wishes.

[Civ 5] [YNAEMP] What is the "AI" difficulty?

Posted: 23 Dec 2017 01:15 PM PST

So the Prussians tried this power move. Notice their capital in Northern Norway. (Sorry for the terrible photo quality. I just needed to post this to vent.)

What building in your region would you like to see as a Civ Wonder?

And, what bonuses would it produce?

Extra points for linking to a picture/description of it!

Is there a way to see how many foreign spies you've killed in VI?

Posted: 23 Dec 2017 06:47 PM PST

As the title says. I've been literally murdering at least one spy per turn in my capitol's econ center for the last 200 years, and I wanna see how many dude's this guy has merc'd. His bloodlust knows no bounds

Do you ever feel guilty going for a Domination victory?

Posted: 23 Dec 2017 06:34 PM PST

So I started a game today. Cleopatra. Ok cool. See some rivers around and I decide to grow there.

Few tiles away, Greece.

Pericles was an ok dude. We traded and we had a friendly relationship for years. He forward settled me once, and I did the same in a nice choke point close to his lands.

He was like: "Ok, cool, just don't attack me."

We traded and lived happily until the year ~1960. I had a huge technological advantage over him. While he had access to flight, he only had an army of scouts.

Literal Armies of scouts. Three little golden stars on his scouts.

I had already defeated Spain to the south, and I decided I needed some more land to the North.

But this time... I brought nukes.

One by one, all his cities disappeared in fire and fallout, until he only had a small town, Corinth, with 4 people in it.

He sent me a peace agreement.

But his face...

I've never seen a leader with such fear. He was terrified. His Olympian gods had rained fel fire upon him, and Egypt was its carrier.

For the first time, I felt bad. I felt guilty. I was a monster.

I gave him 1K in gold and several extra amenities, and let him live.

I had to turn the game off.

Guilt it's powerful...

Why is it so difficult to finish a game of Civ 6?

Posted: 23 Dec 2017 11:47 AM PST

I don't mean that I find it hard to finish a game of Civ 6, my problem is that I get bored before I get even close to reaching a science or domination victory.

I never had that problem in Civ 5 and would start up games and add several hours to them every day, in Civ 6 I can start up a new game and quit it in the same hour.

Will the Civ 6 Digital Deluxe Edition include Rise and Fall?

Is there any mod to replicate an Overcrowded Game?

Posted: 23 Dec 2017 01:36 PM PST

One of my favorite things to do in civ 5 was to put the game on deity, dual size map, 26 civs and no city states. Civ 6 seems to prevent that with max civs per map sizes..can this be overridden?
