The 2018 Waifu/Husbando Voted Tier List Results! Posted: 03 Mar 2018 04:14 PM PST Hello users of r/smashbros! A little over two weeks ago, I asked you all again who were the best Waifus and Husbandos in Smash Bros. We got about 240 voters this time around, which is extremely solid! Enough stalling, I give you, r/smashbros 2018 Waifu/Husbando Voted Tier List! And for reference, here was last year's tier list. The ranking system went as followed: S Tier - Too good for this world; instantly would ship with self A Tier - High quality Waifu/Husbando B Tier - Not a primary choice, but solid potential C Tier - Mediocre Waifu/Husbando, too many problems to be a truly viable choice. D Tier - PLS NO, NOT THEM Of course, this poll was largely dominated by folks who enjoy girls. So, here's the list of people who much rather prefer the company of boys! Top 5 rise in Attracted to Males: Wolf, Bowser, Lucario, Charizard, Falco Top 5 decrease in Attracted to Males: Wario, Ice Climbers, King Dedede, Lucina, Female Robin Looking for something a bit more objective? Here's the list when only asked to folks who are Bisexual, Asexual, or some other sexual I'm not aware of! Top 5 rise in Other Sexuality: Male Corrin, Smash 4 Fox, Lucario, Pichu, Kirby Top 5 decrease in Other Sexuality: Mr.G&W, Luigi, Sandbag, Megaman, Captain Falcon Based on a personal request of last years poll, here's a list for those who wanted characters a bit more... furry. Top 5 rise in Furries: Lucario, Wolf, Smash 4 Fox, Falco, Charizard, Top 5 decrease in Furries: Mr. Saturn, Ice Climbers, Luigi, Pokemon Trainer, Mr.G&W All of the top 5 increase/decrease are in order. For example, Wario was the biggest drop in Attracted to Males vs the Official List, while Wolf was the biggest rise. We had a few changes from last year, so here you can see the difference from last year! A +1 or -1 means a full tier difference (like B to B+), so most changes were fairly small overall. You guys were a bit more loving this year it looks like, as the average rose 0.02 from last year! A few extra questions we had! What character would gain the most waifu/husbando viability by switching genders? Top 5 Cloud: 9.4% perfect tie! Corrin, Male: 9.4% perfect tie! Link: 9.0% Captain Falcon: 8% Marth: 7.5% What character would gain the most waifu/husbando viability altering their age? Top 5 Lucas: 16.8% Young Link: 11.5% Villager F or Villager M: 11.1% Ganondorf: 9.1% Ness: 6.3% We also had some questions for a few excess characters! Best Koopaling Waifu/Husbando? They are all bottom tier trash at being a Waifu or Husbando: 45.5% Roy: 12.3% Morton: 10.4% Ludwig: 10.0% Larry: 7.1% Iggy: 6.3% perfect tie! Wendy: 6.3% perfect tie! Lemmy: 2.4% What is the Best Fighting Polygon Team Member Waifu/Husbando? Poly Captain Falcon: 24.3% Poly Samus: 18.9% Poly DK: 14.6% They are all equally terrible options: 12.6% Poly Link: 7.3% perfect tie! Poly Yoshi: 7.3% perfect tie! Poly Kirby: 4.9% Poly Jiggs: 3.9% Poly Fox: 3.4% Poly Luigi: 1.5% perfect tie! Poly Pikachu: 1.5% perfect tie! Poly Mario: 0.0% Poly Ness: 0.0% What ranking would you give THE BEST Fighting Polygon Team? With the max score being an 11, and minimum being a 1, folks gave their preferred polygon team member an average of 6.34, which puts them in upper B tier, between Ganondorf and Male Wii Fit Trainer. Best Alloy Waifu/Husbando? Blue Alloy: 47.6% No Alloy: 20.6% Green Alloy: 16.9% Red Alloy: 9.5% Yellow Alloy: 5.3% What ranking would you give THE BEST Alloy? Folks gave their preferred alloy an average of 4.70, which would put them in Lower B- tier, between Ice Climbers and Meta Knight. What ranking would you give your preferred Wireframe? No real reason to ask which you prefer, since it's just guy vs. girls. The wireframes got 6.52, which would put them at the very bottom of B+. Best Final Boss Waifu Husbando? Stop asking me these kinds of questions: 26.3% Crazy Hand: 19.4% perfect tie! Tabuu: 19.4% perfect tie! Master Hand: 18.4% Giga Bowser: 10.6% Master Core: 6% Do you consider yourself in any way a furry? Yes: 12.7% No: 87.3% So not a whole lot of furries, but based on your answer, you were asked different questions. If you are a furry... Which of the following characters would improve the most if they were a little more furry instead? I'm not answering that: 4 votes Sheik: 3 votes Snake, ZSS, Male Corrin, Female Corrin, Ike, Palutena : 2 votes Cloud, Little Mac, Marth, Pit , Pokemon Trainer, Rosalina, Shulk: 1 vote Since there wasn't a whole lot of furries voting, figured I'd just display all the votes. Which is the best group of animals for Waifu/Husbando material? Feline: 32.1% Canine: 21.4% Other Land Mammal: 10.6% Rodent, Reptilian, Mythical, and Bird: 7.1% each Equine: 3.6% Invertebrate: 0.0% So, wasn't too sure what the categories were for furries, but it seemed to cover most of them. All the "others" were either double voting or specifying a certain kind of "other land mammal". Not sure what to do with this info... but hey, it's there. If you aren't a furry Which of the following characters would improve the most if they were Human or Humanoid instead? Top 5 Falco: 13.1% perfect tie! Jigglypuff: 13.1% perfect tie!
