Posted: 21 Dec 2017 12:21 PM PST Also, with the proper introduction of the latest Civ game to mobile, I feel like it could also be a causeway in making the game more casual. Please don't let the Civilization franchise become the Call of Duty of empire building/RTS games! [link] [comments]

Does civ 6 cultural victory really make sense? Posted: 21 Dec 2017 09:05 AM PST Civ 5 cultural victory made sense: your tourism had to be better than everyone else's culture, so you were culturally dominant over every civilization But in civ 6, you don't need to be culturally dominant over every civ, you just need enough tourists to declare yourself culturally dominant over the world altogether. But, the way to do this doesn't require you to target bigger players. You can have all your tourists come from one civilization and still win, as long as it's over the biggest cultural player's domestic tourists. I guess it's kinda saying that your culture is more popular than everyone else's? I dunno. What do you guys think about this? Do you think civ 5 culture victory was too hard? Is civ 6's better? Posted: 21 Dec 2017 02:55 PM PST France is such a fun looking civ but when you look at how insignificant the non-leader bonuses are they kinda suck. Even Spain has an amazing UU. Wonder boost: The amount of tourism from wonders is tiny compared to what you get from great works, even if you are France. Especially since you only get that tiny production boost in the midgame. I don't think the problem is the bonus but that fact that wonders are so competitive. 20% is way to small for what only applies to the 4 or 5 useful wonders France will be building. Suggestion: New ability: City of Light: +20% when building wonders in the Midieval, renissance, and industrial era and +20% when building wonders in the capital. These production boosts stack to 40% when building midgame wonders in the capital. Chateau: Its pretty sad that the best early game war civ in the game also has a unique improvement that is superior to France's in almost every single way, and can be placed away from rivers. Suggestion: Bring them to the midieval era, and make them give 1 housing. The Culture should also stack. [link] [comments]

Is there any chance of a digital deluxe edition upgrade? Posted: 21 Dec 2017 02:19 PM PST Yeah, I know I could have gotten the digital deluxe edition when it came out, but at this point buying all of the DLC costs nearly as much as buying the digital deluxe edition outright. Its pretty annoying that if I waited to buy it until now, I could have bought the digital deluxe edition for $65 NZ When considering the DLC isn't even on sale at the moment I'd have to spend something like $57 to get them. I know that I could have bought the digital deluxe edition when I got the game, but it just feels like I'm being disadvantaged for buying the game early. [link] [comments]
Planning on getting a Civ VI DLC, but which one? Posted: 21 Dec 2017 10:53 AM PST Title basically. I really like the Indonesia civ so far what with the cool new improvement and viability of fully coastal cities, but still uncertain! [link] [comments] |
