In case anyone else noticed and was wondering why Mario's art looked off in the E3 build, Mario's render in the E3 build is most definitely an early version of the actual render (probably just using the 3d model) and it's even more obvious side by side with the actual art.

There is possibly a horrifying pattern going on in the Smash games. Let's start at the beginning, the grandfather Smash 64. There were two titans, Kirby and Pikachu. These two rampaged through the competition, and were feared by all. This didn't go without punishment though, and now Kirby sits at the bottom of the tier list, paying for his sins. After Melee, we got Brawl. And with it, two brand new Kirby characters, King Dedede and Meta Knight. Meta Knight was a force to reckon with. There was not even one character that could rival him. It was so bad, he was locked up away from the competition, sealed away until the next Smash. Of course, in our current Smash, not a single Kirby character is top tier. I think you see the pattern now. Every other Smash, a Kirby character is top tier. With Smash Ultimate coming soon, there is still one Kirby character that didn't get his time in the sun. It's clobahhing time.

If I'm a Squirtle and I need to get to Charizard quick for a recovery, I'd have to cycle through Ivysaur and then to Charizard to get who I want.

It's not like you're not able to pick who you send out in Pokemon, so just have like fire, water, and grass icons you can quick pick from.
