| How good items work with Cu Chulainn Posted: 17 Jun 2017 10:33 AM PDT So with Cu Chulainn I've once said "Blackthorn is awesome on him, try it!" before testing due to a bad misconception that is somewhat understandable considering his mana isn't mana but "Berserk stack" or something, and his passive says "his mana regen stops at 25, but he gain Mana upon hitting with his-" and it basically says the stuff he's using is indeed Mana, but he isn't. So I thought i'd experiment with some items and say how they affect him. Death's Toll: Heals for 8 health, and inconsistently heals 1 more hp. considering it's 10% of 4 mana I guess it makes sense it wouldn't heal on every hit, but it seems to be random. Gladiator's shield: level 6, no other items, 967 health, heals for 24 hp and 3 hp. 1/8 of the base heal, but since a tenth of 24 is 2.4 it could just be rounding up. Hydra's Lament: The mana regen passive does nothing. Blackthorn Hammer: Lowers cooldowns by 3 seconds, but his abilities still cost his "Beserk stacks" Transcendence: itself gives 105 health at full stacks. .6 hp5, and a load of power which is 35 + .3(100+item mana). Watcher's Gift: heals 12 hp + 1 hp for the 10 mana Mail of Renewal: upon enemy god kill you gain 16.5% of your health. over 5 seconds Bracer of Undoing: If you just use an ability and use it. You don't even get 1 hp or any berserk stacks Meditation: Healed myself for the regular amount + 32 health. Only had watcher's gift on which has no mana so... 30% of 100 is 32? Shield of Regrowth: Does not proc when your passive converts a mana heal into a health heal. And those were all the items with passives that may have potentially synergized with Cu Chulainn. As we can see it there is nothing that works particularly well with the passive which I feel is a bit of a letdown (especially with blackthorn). When you get a god with such a large mechanic that changes how something as big as mana interacts with him you would've hoped for some big synergy to be found but... There really wasn't any. Regardless hope you guys found this little guide on how Cu Chulainn interacts with these passives useful. Edit: Probably should've made the title "How well items work with Cu Chulainn", but whatever. I'm trying to play casuals but I always get like ~3 + level 30's on both my team and the enemy team. And they rage. A lot. I'm trying to learn the game but I'm starting to lose the interest in smite because of this. I can't play a damn game without people flaming me for making mistakes that are normal for my level. I'm level 7. Why am I playing with people with high masteries and level 30? I always get stomped and it's not funny and I can't learn anything from the game. Also, co-op is too easy. | Need help with rotating as a support Posted: 17 Jun 2017 06:20 PM PDT Hey guys! I'm a solo main looking to really commit to sticking with support as my secondary role. I play with a team-first approach in most of my games with my clan team (with the occasional games as Bellona or SWK where I just pop off bc I get fed in lane) and usually the last to pick in my games to fill what the team needs from the solo lane. That being said, support is the perfect secondary role with my team-first attitude. I am very aware of strong meta picks and I have a decent understanding of building as a support. I feel like I'm pretty good at creating kill potential for my mid and carry but I tend to have games where I fall behind the other support because I spend too much time trying to let my carry get solo farm and fall behind on farm myself because I don't know what lanes to rotate to. If I don't need to back for an item/wards and we poke out or kill one or both of our duo lane counter parts I usually go to mid to try to make a play for my mid there afterwards or when I see the jungler come to our side to do camps, I split with them. Outside of that, I'm pretty bad at rotating I guess because like I said, I tend to have games where I'm the lowest level in the game even because I spend too much time trying to find somewhere to rotate to and it usually result in me spending a minute or two not being really productive and just walking around. | Posted: 17 Jun 2017 07:15 PM PDT Generaly i just join game already in a bad mood, expecting the worst, getting the worst, sometimes i thought to myself why do i even bother, well todays game reminded me First it was your typical game, we were losing pretty hardly as even when i was fed as a jungle, their jungle was fed even more and they had the gold advantage for the whole match, i saw it as another loss but my team refused to give up, after we got almost wiped up again with me and our ullr sole survivors we enemy decided to take FG, aaand we stole it, to be precise ullr with his glorious snipe which gave us a moral boost, but we were too far behind ultimately resulting in a fight which left us without any phoenix and titan at 1000, at this point i wanted to surrender, but team refused, i swear something changed, we played like a team, we didnt do mistakes, and with a shit ton of luck and lots of clutch moments we managed to hold until all 3 phoenixes respawned, { when i am talking clutch moments it was literaly question of one ability at least 3 times } it felt really like playing with a real team and after that we managed to win a teamfight and rush to the titan for the victory just wanted to leave this here, even after all those years smite can still surprise me, and guys, never f6 [link] [comments]  | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

I am ahead of diamond and masters players with better records. So, what is the point of these leader boards, and rewarding high ranking players on them, if they don't reasonably show who's the best? | I wish HiRez kept an event calendar Posted: 17 Jun 2017 04:48 AM PDT Maybe just keep a calendar that would tell the players when events were coming up, and how much they would cost… It would allow players to know when to save up their gems for what they are interested in. It might also work as a hype up for certain events… like imagine they posted about an event with a cool name coming up in 3 months, the community would just keep wondering what it would be about.
