BOTW's Ganon lacks personality

I kinda miss the old Ganon, or Ganondorf who had a great personality and motives. I understand that Ganon has given up on the whole resurrection and gone for the whole calamity thing, but I miss the personality of Ganondorf.

How do you guys feel about Ganon in BOTW? Do you guys wish that the next villain of the series have more of a personality?

BoTW had disappointing dungeons and boss fights?

Personally I felt that the boss fights and dungeons in Breath of the wild were far to short or easy compared to the other games. I know that the amount of shrines that are in the game try to "make up" for the size of the dungeons by being mini-puzzle dungeons themselves, but I feel that there was a massive ammount of potential lost with how each dungeon could have used the unique slate powers.

I can't see any reason why people wouldn't think that the boss fights were utterly underwhelming compared to past Zelda titles, since you don't acquire a new tool to assist you with the fight each one felt like a copy of the last, only with some difference in the element being used in the fight. Also being able to just stand underneath them and hit them with your strongest weapon 5-6 times each phase just made them feel like pushovers (and these things were supposed to have beaten the champions during the rise of Calamity Ganon??)

Just wondering if other people felt the same way or not?

Ganondorf knows the Ending Blow

In Wind Waker, there are three chains of attacks Ganondorf can use on you.

One of them ends with him jumping in the air and then bringing down his swords in a cross. Pressing A to counter this results in Link doing a Back Slice.

One is a series of normal looking slashes where pressing A results in Link doing a Helm Splitter.

There's a final one, which seems to be the rarest, where Ganondorf kicks as the final strike of the attack (or second last? I forget). This seems to be much more common when you hold up your shield against him. The kick also seems to ignore the shield no matter what, from what I've tested so far. It can be noted that Ganondorf does a kick if you try and Shield Attack on him in Twilight Princess.

Anyway, something to note that is if you get kicked, he will follow up with an Ending Blow, a very slow one. His swords get stuck in the ground if he misses, but you still can't attack him.

Some other things I noticed:

If you do a Back Slice on him at the point where Zelda is targeting you, he will block the attacks by moving his swords behind him.

In that final part, if you dick around, Zelda will stop targeting you and try and aim at Ganondorf. Most consistently, I've found this happens when you get her against the edge of the arena, stand beside her, and don't Target Ganondorf. You can clearly see she stops pointing at you and aims toward the center of the stage. She even points the bow up and down when Ganondorf does his jumping attacks. After an arrow or two, she'll attempt to walk away and start aiming at you again.

She also blocks Ganondorf's attacks with the Bow, with a short yelp.
