Writing this on purpose before we get the actual final match of Rift Rivals...

We had 3 days of great games that showed the weaknesses and strenghts of both regions. Even the post match discussions were mostly civil with fun banter and without actual shitposts and insults.

I'm sure both regions will benefit from this event. How ever the final match ends it was fun!

So again thank you NA come again lets do this again soon!

In only 2 of of 18 Rift Rival games EU had a gold lead at 20 minutes. Both of which were held by G2. Neither UOL or Fnatic had gold leads at 20 minutes.

When Kayn is in Darkin form and ult the sound is the one that Kayn makes when he laugh but it should be Rhaast's one imo.

These are little details that pretty much annoy me and I hope riot will fix it (if it's not meant to be like that)

/Mute all shouldn't unmute the players you have allready muted

I don't get why this is as it is. If i "mute all" I want nothing but silence and stop people from talking, I don't magically feel the need to hear our 3/11 Kha'zix philosophizing about how he could have carried if we all weren't so "Fking autistic" just because I chose to mute the others as well. It's quite annoying to manually have to mute him again instead of just /mute all and get all that I ever wanted in League. Silence and Peace.

Rekkles, Rift Rivals and Reddit

With the recent criticism of Rekkles being a KDA player, a poor teammate, and a bad player, I felt the need to speak up about the way reddit talks about players.

After every major tournament there are players who are critiscised for their play and its always the same story. People claim that X played bad during the tournament, therefor he as always been bad, and its a wonder people had not figured it out yet.

This is not the case. Stop with the extremes. Please!

This is the case for Rekkles this time around, but it goes for so many other players.

Rekkles has had a great split and he has been praised for it. Just because he played poorly at times during Rift Rivals doesn't mean he has been bad the entire split.

Just because he was succesful in his region, but loosing internationaly doesnt mean he got "exposed" as a player. Players and teams underperforms. They encounter new styles. It happens.

Just because he didnt enter fights where he would loose, doesnt mean he only cares about KDA. He is not an aggressive marksman for sure. But don't exaggerate.

My point is that in every thread discussing the Rift Rival games you see so many exaggerated comments about players and teams.

As for the constructive feedback for Rift Rivals, as we see, NA meta approach(and game decisions) works well in most games against EU. This (solely) does not guarantee any special bonus (last time at worlds, NA meta and approach doesnt work in games with other teams consistently).
But its definetely good sign of improvement in a right direction. For the EU, this is a good experience before the worlds and the signal to work on their draft, champ compositions and game decisions.

P.S. For TSM Rift Rivals is huge step up in terms of TSM vs. EU matchups. G2 it seems unfortunately lost some progress (in comparison with MSI).
