This weekend the legendary furnisher in Coldharbour has free yellow legendary "Daedric Throne, Skulls" furnishing.

Normally people complain about zone being cancerous, or full of rude assholes, but that's not always the case! I just got 30+ birthday wishes from zone chat, and not a single person was a smartass about it! Even got a few birthday gifts from them!

I will admit, there are a few people out there who want to ruin your fun over chat, but just let it be known that's not how everyone on eso is.

So, once again there are some holiday-themed colors in the Crown Store as Dye Stamps. They are very nice colors, dyeing true on most every costume I previewed them on,unlock so many of the stock unlockable colors.

I'd like ZOS to allow us to straight up buy the colors with Crowns, unlocking them on our account permanently so we can use them on both costumes and armor. Paying 200 Crowns for a one-use stamp is something I can't justify to myself, but if it instead bought me the color to use whenever I want? No hesitation here!

[discussion] Some questions about Nightblade.

I'm new to the game and I can't seem to find much solid info out there. I'm not sure if I'm just wording my searches wrong but I was hoping some of you guys could get me started with the game.

I'm looking at rolling a magicka based Nightblade because it seems to have good sustain and I'm a sucker for the 'stealth' classes.

  • Why does every build for Mag.Nightblade I find online suggest I take dual wield as my weapon choice? Isn't the damage on daggers based off stamina? Wouldn't the basic/auto attacks from even a restoration staff do more than the basic attacks of dual wield weapons if I sank all of my points into magicka?

  • Where's all the stealth? I think I've only discovered around 2 abilities that grant me stealth as a Nightblade. Am I missing something or do I unlock more as I go, and if so, where?

  • What's the most reliable form of CC on a Mag.Nightblade (or even for Nightblades in general)?

  • If someone reveals me from stealth and I then re-apply my stealth, will I become invisible to them again or am I revealed until whatever ability/potion they detected me with wears off?

  • From what I can tell, in PvP, sneak attacks seem very difficult with anything except a bow. Is it actually viable to try and sneak attack another player with a melee weapon in PvP or is it kind of like, use a bow for sneak attacks or don't bother sneak attacking at all? And is it even possible to get any good sneak attack damage as a magicka based Nightblade?

Any basic tips for Nightblade would be more than welcome. I'm new to the game and pretty overwhelmed at the moment.

My friend got me to buy the game. Jumping in fairly blind, so thought I would ask to make my time a bit easier.

  1. I will likely be jumping into PvP as early as possible. I read you can start at level 10. Will max leveled characters stomp level 10 players? Is this more of a skill based PvP experience, or a gear/level based? Would a level 10 be able to defeat a max level character? Or would the max level character have to be AFK? Or would that not even work? (passive regen, think Sword Art Online lol). I am hoping it is more skill based. I don't like games where you are obscenely powerful if you spend hours on hours farming armor (Black Desert Online cough). An example would be a level 110 World of Warcraft player camping pre-level 110s. As long as I stand a chance, then I will participate before reaching max level.

  2. How fast is the leveling process? Probably not an important question, but I would like to compare my progress to an average. Basically how long from 1-50 regular levels, and 10-160 CP and then 160-500+ CP?

  3. How important are races when determining your account build? I read that certain races get better magicka/stamina, but how important is that? Is there a race change option? Possibly paid through crowns?

  4. Somewhat of a follow up from 3. Is it possible to "reset" your account build? Like say you were a magicka based character, could you go stamina down the road?

  5. Not really a specific question, but got any tips for a beginner player like me that you would of liked to have known when you started? I have played several MMORPGs and whenever I look back on my early days, I always say "oh, if only I had done x, y z differently, or known about this or that".

  6. Do you think the Subscription is worth the value? You are given 1500 crowns per month, which is about 17$ (Canadian) which sounds like a really good deal. I have read a lot of people saying the crafting bag is pretty much required if you plan to become a crafter.

  7. Can you explain a bit more in detail about how trading works? I read online that there is no auction house, so I guess trading would be done in person. Wouldn't this get tedious? I am already getting PTSD of my early days in Runescape.

Might edit additional questions as I think of them while downloading this colossal sized download. Pretty excited to give the game a try.

I don't normally do this, but when i beat Veteran Maelstrom Arena yesterday for the first time, I literally jumped out of my chair, ran down my neighborhood, screamed and yelled in a great manner of excitement.

Six month playing ESO, it's moment like this that make a game great.

Hey everyone this is my first time posting and my first time to ever hit 160 champion points!! I'm so excited and have many questions and would love it if you guys could help me out. First off, I am a breton mag templar healer! It's really fun and Im having a blast healing in dungeons. I'm gonna start shooting off my questions if that's alright.. What are some good templar rotations/builds? Where should I put my champion points? What gear should I be trying to get? When should I try to start doing trials/vet dungeons? Should I be eating food or drinking potions? What are mundus stones? Will I eventually have to DPS to try and achieve maelstrom? What should I be trying to open with my undauntless keys? Answers to these questions would be much appreciated and any other guidance! :)
