Vanguard Bounties

Name Description
Kill It with Fire Get 30 kills with Solar weapons.
Heavyweight Get 5 kills within 3 seconds 5 times using a Heavy Weapon.
Into the Void Get 30 Void weapon kills.
Hive Hunting Defeat 50 Hive.
Elite Breaker Defeat 10 Cabal Majors or Ultras.
Dreadnaught Reconnaissance Collect resource nodes, open chests and kill enemies on the Dreadnaught.

Vanguard Elite Bounties

Name Description
Arsenal of Light Get Super Kills in SIVA Crisis Strikes to earn the respective Super Kill Medals for your subclass.
Heavy Gatling Rapidly kill 3 or more enemies with a Heavy Weapon to earn Heavy Streak, Heavy Spree, or Heavy Rampage Medals in SIVA Crisis Strikes.
Perpetual Light Generate orbs of Light to earn Cycle of Light Medals in SIVA Crisis Strikes.
Strike Efficient Get 150 kills in a SIVA Crisis Strike and complete the mission to earn a Brutal Efficiency Medal.

Name Description

Queen's Sovereignty Defeat 50 Fallen in any strike playlist.

This was when it was a rare weapon. I have to say I agree with this, during Y1 it had no use outside of regular crucible because of the LL cap on rares.

I once thought the PVP'ers only sought a high K.D...

Well until I met 4 other strangers in a match this week...

So I am a mediocre PVP player and I usually only go in to complete bounties or when Iron Banana is around.

Last week I got the Imprecation quest from banshee and I was stuck on the get 7 precision kills in the crucible in one match part for a few days(Yes because I suck and the gun sucks balls too!)

So I loaded up Mahem Rumble and I was getting my ass kicked until I got lucky and I ended up on a 4 kill streak.

What happened next still amazes me. Those players that I killed eventually found me and when they did they didn't even shoot at me!!

They all just sat down and let me kill them, then they came back and they let me kill them again! Quest completed yay!

So after the match I sent them all love letters thanking them for helping a noob out and now we are all friends lol.

TLDR: A few randos helped me complete the crucible part of the imprecation quest.

Destiny 1 is gonna be effectively over come launch day September 6. Is there anything about the game that you did or didn't do that you regret?

For me I am kicking myself for not getting into handcannons and snipers early in my Destiny career which started back in November 2015. I have only begun sniping and handcannon use in the past 3 or so months and I see that I have missed alot of the fun these guns had.

Bonus regret is I don't have a Vex Mythoclast.

What's yours?

I hit max grimoire on PS4. The grind was long!! I am so excited about this! :)

This weekend I also finished the 9 exotic class items. I have all raid ships and sparrows, and all faction ships and sparrows.

I don't know what to do now.

For the last week of D1...

My few members of my clan and I thought it'd be interesting to see the restriction of one exotic weapon and one exotic piece of armor be unrestricted before (Gary) Ghaul takes all of our coveted awards away. Maybe even just on the 5th... All out mayhem with Fatebringer (Adept) , Spindle, and Gjallarhorn back in action (just for example).

Imagine running a Titan with Helm of Inmost Light, Thagomizers, Armamentarium, and Peregrine Greaves. Not a Titan main, but that'd be damn pretty nasty.

What's everyone think, and what other combinations would everyone come up with if we were granted this for a week or so?

i'm by no means a pro artist but my first idea was a Cayde-6 skin for Mcree (as they both use revolvers/hand cannons), perhaps since battle.net is hosting Destiny 2 on PC we could get some cross-over skins down the line!

It's only at the sketch stage so i figured asking here for next ideas/ feedback on this or anything i may have missed would be great! I was thinking of trying a reinhardt skin next, titan themed of course!

What weapons do you Guardians like to use that aren't considered best in their class or that aren't considered to be part of the current meta and why?

I use The Water Star Hand Cannon a lot, as well as The Inward Lamp Scout Rifle. Personally, I just think they're a lot of fun to use and still think that the old Trials stuff is the best looking stuff in the game. (Still wearing Blindsight Gloves on my Warlock to this day!)

Locked loadouts -> "just for fun" gamemodes (i.e. sniper only)

Ever since Luke Smith revealed that locked loadouts (whatever you set your loadouts as going into a game mode, you must leave it like that), everyone have only been thinking of the "competitive" possibilities, like adding locked loadouts as a modifier on nightfall strikes, or competitive pvp. However, it could also be utilized to make more "just for fun" gamemodes. I've been wanting things like "gun game" or "snipers only" since D1 release, but I've always figured that it wasn't possible with how the framework for destiny PvP functioned. But locked loadouts might open some more opportunities.

Here's an example:

Snipers only: To enter the gamemode, you must have a sniper equipped, and with locked loadouts you won't be able to switch away from it. Then, you only spawn in with "power" ammo. Voila, snipers only.

Thoughts? Can you think of any more "just for fun" game modes Bungie could create using locked loadouts?
