I believe a popular LoL content creator, 'Phylol', has plagiarized my front page guide. I want to put a stop to this practice. - I Keep It Taco

Posted: 27 Jun 2017 02:23 PM PDT

Quick introduction: I'm "I Keep It Taco" but, my Reddit handle is different. Thus mentioning my name in my title. I've played Jhin 24/7 including when he was a garbage ADC these past few months. I made a guide shortly after the buffs using all the knowledge I had on current Jhin. This guide made the front page about a week ago.

https://www.reddit.com/r/leagueoflegends/comments/6i24aj/jhins_itemization_is_now_more_diverse_and/

UPDATE: PhyLol has apologized. Hes learned from his mistakes and hopefully will not be doing it again. Hes claimed this is his first time and he tried it because he sees other YouTubers try it. I acknowledge his apology. And hopefully let this be a lesson to any other youtubers out there that might get the same idea.

Admitting he did wrong: http://imgur.com/a/C4gpj . Someone linked me this. Not exactly sure why he'd delete his comments.

Very Important details: Friend links me the video. People call him out in the comments. I see them when I see the video for the first time. I call him out as well. He deletes all the comments then adds this (before/after evidence) http://imgur.com/a/QKu31 . He also opens the video as "In my opinion, there's 7 actual builds to be using." The video was uploaded without source or credit to the guide. He tried to play off the entire video as his own opinion. He basically uploaded the video with the mentality that he never saw the guide and the entire video is 100% his opinions. While later on, after deleting youtube comments he states he was "inspired" by the guide. Which in turn leads to a lot of the things he says coming from the guide. It might sometimes feel as if hes reading off a screen and trying to summarize ideas while still making sense. I've found a lot of people noticed that. I'm sure you will too. The more you read the closer to my guide his video becomes."

30% of the comments at the time were already are calling him out. These are just a few examples of the comments.

  • "Did you just steal this off the Jhin main who posted this in the r/lol subreddit? At Least give him credit lol"

  • "It is not okay that you just stole the guide from r/Jhinmains subreddit. Give him credit or remove this video."

  • "Ikeepittaco should be credited it seems you stole most of your info from his post. Very disappointed phy.".

Here's the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9gAUJhaspRc

Now. Again. I wasn't sure what I was expecting. I made a guide with item builds. I did not and cannot claim the creation of any of these builds. Except for one but, it wasn't a very good build this patch around and I didn't include it in the guide. Nor was that build included in the video. However, the more I watched the video. The more I saw holes and inconsistencies. The more I saw of my guide in there. My thoughts, explanations, structure, teachings, and opinions. I saw them all in that video. Alongside mistakes, he made in an attempt to not make it obvious. I just felt like shit, dude. One of those times a big YouTuber tries to take other people's hard work and pass it as their own. I don't want this to be pushed under the rug. He'll do it to other people too.

I will provide my claims and evidence in text and video. Whichever is your preference. My English is rather weak so I feel Video might give a better explanation and includes a lot of visual evidence. Just remember. This is a key part of the evidence. http://imgur.com/a/QKu31 . This will reveal the most and if you read along the post you'll notice it all.

Video Evidence of me comparing them and pointing out the points: https://youtu.be/Ymdvw3yHvvE I've actually been up since 5 am yesterday. Realised I didn't say that. 36 hours awake ouch. Sorry if I'm not awake to reply to comments guys.

Another Evidence Clip: https://youtu.be/9Il36dXC950 You can tell he's reading of the guide and at one point stutters words. He almost reads "building IE" directly from the Last Whisper section while he's explaining Last Whisper. You see eye glancing at it and realizes he can't look too long.

Text Evidence: Do note as I go more and more about the video below he starts to get lazier and reveals more.

Key Point: His last video on Jhin. https://youtu.be/v53QLQmpWaM?t=45s He does some research and finds a bunch of different Jhin builds. However, he just gives very few words on each one. Ghostblade = Snowball. ER/IE = Scale. Death's Dance = Survivability. The basics. Common Knowledge. Assuming he knew all of these builds and had the same knowledge as his most recent Jhin video. Why didn't he release his most recent video back then instead of this one? Why list a ton of Jhin builds (9) and just say a few words then move on? That brought me to the idea that he only knew of the all the different item builds existences and only knew very few descriptions. Not much else. Is it a coincidence that he releases a video with the same exact content as my guide a week later after I posted? I don't think so.

Every quote is taken straight from his voice from the video."

Evidence 1: Accounts

You guys know I love playing Jhin. He's always on my channel whenever he's meta and I spam the crap out of him.

Alright. This was a huge red flag for me. How would he possibly know all of this if Jhin hasn't been in the meta for the past 3-4 months? He just admitted that he spams the crap out of him. Wiehter hes meta or not. Everything including his itemization has changed massively ever since Feb/March which is when he stopped being meta. And it changed even more after the Death's Dance buffs and then Jhin buffs after that. Has he actually played any Jhin recently in order to gain all of this knowledge? Let's see. He has played 4 Jhin games total this last month. 3 of 4 in the last week since the buffs and guide.

These were all the accounts I found through his youtube and twitch in the past few months. How much Jhin has he played? 4 times in the last month. 3 of which happened this week. Hes played Jhin 4 times in the past few months in order to gain all of this knowledge that is equal to mine. I, on the other hand, had to play over 300-400 Jhin games in the past 3-4 months to comprehend every situation, item build path, and the right scenarios for each one, then do a little adjusting after the Jhin buffs, as well as unintentionally de-ranking my account from Masters promos to D5 (Jordanian Sniper) while learning Jhin's state. I mean, 45% win rate ADC. Hard to do much. I tilted off for a week straight and probably killed a good portion of my viewer base. But, damn do I love the champion. I learned how to lose and have fun until Jhin got better at least. So, the video being super close to my guide with only 4 games is very suspicious to me. Espeically since he claims its all his opinions 100%. Just keep remembering the imgur. He wanted people to go into that video with that mentality that everything was his work.

Evidence 2: Builds

Now if you read the full guide and watch his video. You can notice the way he presents everything is based off my guide. Sometimes he'll add a few more details or add less in order to avoid it being exactly the same. The same explanations, thoughts, opinions, and concepts about the builds are all there though. He has used every build in the guide but, put them in random orders (make it less noticeable). He also ends the guide with situational items then boots (same order as the guide). He adds a little bit of common knowledge which is hard to argue came strictly from the guide. But, with what the imgur evidence showed http://imgur.com/a/QKu31 . It's hard to say he didn't say those things off the guide as well.

I will now lay out the format of my guide order vs his. After the layout I'll explain in details how close they are.

Left side is mine. While the right side is his. He just switches the orders.

1. GB+RFC+IE | IE+RFC+SHIV

2. GB+IE+RFC | IE+RFC+ER

3. GB+EoN+Dusk/RFC | ER+RFC+IE

4. Death's Dance +RFC+IE | GB+RFC+IE

5. IE+RFC+ER | GB+IE+RFC

6. ER+RFC+IE | Death's Dance+RFC+IE

7. IE+SHIV+RFC | GB+EoN+Dusk

You could legitimately take a screen shot of this layout and match them with lines. He just juggles the order to look different. Like so: http://i.imgur.com/GN4XFRY.jpg . They're the same item builds explained in the guide but, said in a different order to appear different from the guide. It was a nice attempt.

All quotes are taken straight from his video. Bold with points are my own words on this situation.

For the 4th and 5th item are going to be similar to every other build. But, the first 3 really kind of defines Jhin and what he's going to be good at during the game

  • At the introduction of item builds and throughout the item builds section. I only present the builds in 3 item cores. Also, in the first item build paragraph, I mention that after you complete the 3 items it's all situational from here. And provide situational items after. In the video, I refer to as "Key Point" he only mentioned 2 item cores and said a few words on them. He just completely changed how he saw item build cores from 2 cores to 3 cores within 3 Jhin games in the past week. 4 in total.

Now the next part hits me like a truck

My favorite is going to be the first Crit build. So Infinity Edge first. Into Rapid Fire Cannon. Into Shiv. So much burst damage. Really spikes at 3 items. And I honestly just love it.

  • Now, if you go to the Crit section example of my guide below. I'll provide the key parts but, you can feel free to read the full paragraph.

  • From my guide: Making this part bold as it's new information and after testing this is what I've gotten on the new build..... this gives more burst and mix damage...........I feel this is my favorite Crit build because it spikes faster and has a bigger Crit chance.

  • Those are the key points I wanted to take from the paragraph. He essentially said exactly what I said. Now. I know what you're thinking. He said IE+RFC+SHIV in this video and the "Key Point" video. Not IE+SHIV+RFC. From my view, IE+RFC+SHIV was just some new build he listed in the "Key Point" video. However, he made sure not to copy IE+SHIV+RFC in that order specifically in the new video as to avoid it being too close. Now you're going to tell me. So, what? He prefers to build it in a different order. Yet, he's never gone that build this month. If you look at this account "Phytality" you'll notice 2 of the 4 total Jhin games this month are in there. So? Here's the catch. In both games he builds IE+SHIV+RFC in the exact same order I state. 4 days ago he played them. My guide was released 8 days ago. And I updated the IE+SHIV+RFC part later on that same day I posted after a few Redditors posted the new build from a Korean master Jhin player and asked for my thoughts. I played it a few times on stream. I analyzed it and gave my opinions. I updated it to the Reddit post. You can read the comments I replied to as well. So, he hasn't built IE+RFC+SHIV once within the 4 games. And he already built the IE+SHIV+RFC build twice from the guide. And in the latest video, he strongly stands by IE+RFC+SHIV. So, why would he go against his favorite build IE+RFC+SHIV? And not go the build once ever?

Crit 2 would be similar. Infinity Edge into Rapid Fire Cannon into Essence Reaver. Normally, you wouldn't get this as a 3rd AD carry item. Because it's better at the start of the game on most champions. But, with Jhin you have to remember its a very high AD item which goes into more AD with your passive and also has more Crit chance which again gives more AD into your passive. It has two of the really good stats that we want. It helps us burst a lot harder and make these Crits even bigger. Pure stat wise it's a lot of damage. Now, if you're behind with the Crit build. You can go into Essence reaver first. And it's really the only time I recommend doing it.And it's because of the build path. It's much easier to build into an Essence Reaver than it is into Infinity Edge. If you're struggling you can go two long swords. Buy this if you're basing on 800 gold. 2 long swords 2 potions. Rather than having to wait for Pickaxe or kinda base with nothing if you're building towards an Infinity Edge. So, in my opinion it's not quite as good. But, I think personally Infinity Edge is more damage right now. This is for solo Q remember not for Pro play or anything. Just for your games.

  • I'll be cutting this big chunk into small sentences with mine to compare

Normally, you wouldn't get this as a 3rd AD carry item. Because it's better at the start of the game on most champions. But, with Jhin you have to remember its a very high AD item which goes into more AD with your passive and also has more Crit chance which again gives more AD into your passive. It has two of the really good stats that we want. It helps us burst a lot harder and make these Crits even bigger. Pure stat wise it's a lot of damage

  • From my guide: But, Taco! Isn't Essence Reaver an early game item only? Why would I build it after IE and RFC? Well, it's because the AD is pretty high (70) and it gives 20% Crit which is decent. The 70 AD + 20% Crit chance that transfers to your passive add a big chunk to your total AD after you build IE+RFC.

Rather than having to wait for Pickaxe or kinda base with nothing if you're building towards an Infinity Edge.

  • From the guide: Essence Reaver has a better build path due to long swords being very cheap. If you back under enough gold for a (875) Pickaxe. Go Essence Reaver.(800 gold which he stated is just under my 875. He adds a few more words to make it longer. I guess at this point its too risky to say Pickaxe or 875 gold so, he decides to pick a random number under Pickaxe. 800).

But, I think personally Infinity Edge is more damage right now.

  • From the guide: Before all the Jhin nerfs I also felt ER was always better cause you already did a ton of damage and could do more with the CDR + Mana regen than a little extra damage from IE. But, since Jhin's damage has been tuned a lot IE's damage boost isn't as small as it used to be.(How does he personally think Infinity Edge is more damage right now? It's clearly stated in the guide that IE gives more damage. Unless he's trying to say Infinity Edge damage boost is more than it used to be. Which was already stated. Jhin's overall damage is much weaker thus making Infinity Edge to be stronger now. But, he couldn't come up with an in-depth answer so I assume he just gave any answer.)

This is for solo Q remember not for Pro play or anything. Just for your games.

  • From the guide: These builds are all based off Solo Q. Crit Jhin is by far the most reliable build and safest build. So, if teams go Crit in competitive after a small kill lead. It's understandable. He's not as strong to reliably snowball in a competitive team environment. But, that doesn't mean the other builds don't do better in a solo Q environment.* **(Why did he have to include something so random? Unless it was mentioned somewhere in the guide. He just randomly put that out there. At this point, I assume he's just looking at the guide and trying to fit stuff in. I stated that this entire build guide is based on my experience on solo Q and that you might not see some of these in Pro play but, do excel in certain situations in solo Q. If anything Crit builds would definitely be the most reliable in Pro play. Yet, he stated this after explaining Crit builds. I guess what he took out of this was the sentence he mentioned at the end)

One of the ways you're going to use it is the first build. Utility Ghostblade. You're going to use your RFC to high range auto attack someone and then proc your W afterward so you can root somebody and then you can follow them up and chase them down using your ultimate or your team follows up. Ghostblade increases the range even more because if someone is just outside of your rapid fire cannon you ghostblade into range and they can't run away fast enough and still get that engage. You're really pairing together Ghostblade and the rapid fire cannon if that makes sense to be even more utilitywise than before. And you still have a lot of damage than before.

  • Alright. So, this is the part where it gets close to common knowledge territory. However, because of how dishonest he was with what I explained in the "Quick Important Detail" section. We'll automatically assume that whatever is common knowledge and close to the guide was taken and slightly modified. Why? Because at first, he tried to pass off the video completely on his own and only later after deleting comments he says he was "inspired" by the guide.

  • From the guide: The goal with this build is to abuse the GB+RFC combo in the early stages of the game when you're popping off. Compared to the Lethality builds this one is more pro-active and has better scaling but, gives less damage. The combo is Ghostblade active > 700 range RFC auto, land W, auto, auto, Q, 4th shot. And if you're still alive you can use your R but, they're almost always dead before that happens. I'll give an example of a team comp where this build would be good into. Twitch/Nami/Lux/Lee/Riven. You're snowballing pretty well against their comp and you're confident with this combo you'll be able to kill people 1 by 1. A useful tip to using the combo is if you're trying to catch them trying to come out of a spot that isn't warded. So, if you notice twitch sidepushing. Try to walk through the jungle and as soon as you know he has vision activate GB and proceed to kill. IE is a good second item with this build because of its synergy. After you complete the 3 it's all situational from here.

  • It seems that he took the information and dumbed it down.

But, as I said like 3 item wise. I personally thing IE+RFC+SHIV would out damage GB+RFC+IE. And it would be close but, this one (GB build) offers more utility and well-rounded while IE+RFC+SHIV is kinda full glass cannon if that makes sense.

  • It's definitely fine to believe that IE+RFC+SHIV would out damage GB+RFC+IE. Especially as 3 items while GB doesn't scale well. But, he calls GB+RFC+IE more utility and "well-rounded". While IE+RFC+SHIV is "kinda full glass cannon if that makes sense". Last time I checked we were playing Jhin. An ADC. No matter what build he goes he'll be glass cannon with the exception of Death's Dance builds.

This one for the damage wise. Ghostblade + IE will be more damage with the armor pen from ghostblade so if all you care about is I want to carry at 2 items then you go GB+IE then RFC afterward. These two items will give you the most damage in a teamfight. While GB + RFC will give slightly less. But, obviously, you have the utility advantage. Which sometimes is better than raw damage anyways right.

  • From the guide: Let's give a scenario. You go GB+RFC but, all of a sudden the enemy starts to get tanky and you're doing peanut damage. You can't be forceful in this situation. So, it would have been wiser to go GB+IE. IE gives less utility than RFC but, it gives more overall damage so, if they get tanky just combo it with a Last Whisper and you'll do fine. While combing GB+RFC+Last Whisper is significantly worse. IE overall gives a damage boost to your AD and the passive gives an extra bit of damage to every 4th auto and 4th Ult bullet. And IE scales very well into the late game. So, it's the safest item to get after Ghostblade right now.

  • It's basically dumbed down again. Either not able to give an in-depth answer without it being identical or it's just easier to dumb it down to not be too close to the guide's explanation. His two mains points are that GB+IE give you the most damage in a teamfight. While my guide says they give more damage overall than GB+RFC. And then he says GB+RFC will give slightly less damage but, has a utility advantage.

Finally then. We have the Death's Dance build uh now this one in my opinion is really good for dueling so if you're against someone like a Lucian for example or draven who are going to fight you a lot death's dance will hopefully keep you a bit more alive and let you fight them still. Also if you have bad positioning or you can't kite very well. Death's Dance is really good at that. So, you have the death's dance first, you have the RFC for more utility again it keeps you at higher range as I said I don't want to die build. You're not going for raw damage here you're going for more survivability here. And just kind of on the basis that if you can survive a fight you're going to win it right. And then afterward we go onto a Crit build. You can add like a 3rd attack speed item. We'll talk about phantom dancer in a bit.

  • From the guide: If you're snowballing against lanes that love to skirmish and have big powerspikes on their first core item you'll need Death's Dance + RFC + IE. So, who does this include? It includes people like DRAVEN,LUCIAN, Twitch. Death's Dance gives you a lot of sustain, it makes you tanky, and it gives you pretty high AD. Another worthy mention is that you don't need to get this item only when you're ahead. You can also get this item if you just want to survive and never die.

  • So, Dueling in his words is another way to say skirmishing. Gives specific examples of Draven and Lucian. The rest is just saying it makes you tanky. Then he says to go RFC after. Okay. But, if you look at this picture. http://i.imgur.com/PgFnc1e.png . While he was explaining this build he completely forgot to say you should go IE. And instead, he says to go your 3rd attack speed item. So, Death's Dance then RFC then Staik then PD? It looks likes he's starting to have trouble towards the end when it comes to summarizing this.

But when we come to finally so those are kind of the main builds you're going to be going. These four first items. You have 3 different Crit builds in my opinion. You have 2 different ghostblade builds. You have one death's dance build aswell. Depending on what you want as we said at the start of the video.

  • I kinda feel he missed the point. The whole point of this guide wasn't to let you choose which build you want to go whenever you want. It was to teach you in which situations you should take which build. And he not once included that Lethality items are really bad against a tanky team or have the risk if you don't snowball. He just automatically assumed they're all good in every situation and it's really just playstyle. To a certain extent, you could choose them solely by playstyle. But, that's not being efficient now is it?

At the end of the guide I explain situational items then boots. He instead goes into boots (Armor tabi, Ionian, Swiftness) and skips the rest. But, it gets interesting when he explains situational items.

We have Death's Dance. Fits into any build honestly for the lifesteal. Don't buy a bloodthirster in my opinion. Death's Dance right now is better. More AD. Cooldown reduction which is cool. You have like the healing from your ultimate and abilities cause 15% damage dealt. It's not like lifesteal for example. And you have the bleed effect to keep you alive more.

  • From the guide: When you feel you need lifesteal and want to increase your survivability (damage bleed that you should be able to out heal). It makes you pretty tanky when combined with damage reduction items(Armor tabi, Phantom Dancer, Fearless mastery). So, it allows you to play more aggressive. After it's buffs it's definitely a much better Bloodthirster. - Last time I checked Death's Dance didn't give more AD than Bloodthirster. Which was one of the reasons why he said to take it over Bloodthirster. He just explained what Death's Dance was but, didn't really give much else info.

THIS IS THE PART WHERE IT REALLY SHOWS

Btw Last Whisper is so important on Jhin because all of your abilities are AD. If a tank is build-buying armor. You need to kinda stop and atleast get a last whisper straight away cause otherwise you're kinda going to be screwed honestly

  • From the guide: A special note about the Last Whispers. Buy them as soon as they get tanky. You're half way building IE but, the enemy is super tanky? Do not finish IE. Get Last Whisper. Then go back to finishing IE.

  • Do you see him stutter between if a tank is build (stutter) buying armor? He was about to say build-ing. Why? Because if you look at him you can tell hes looking at words on the monitor and trying to phrase it. If you look at my guide. "You're half way building IE but,". You can tell he was about to say building cause he was reading off that part. But, then said buying instead. If he wasn't reading off anything he would have just said building or buying. They're the same thing. But, from what I can tell he was probably reading close to "building IE" and immediately stopped himself. Check min 8:42 of the video. You can clearly see it. https://youtu.be/9Il36dXC950

One last build I want to talk about. It's not great but, it's not bad. So, this is probably these three first three items are probably the highest damage build you can play at the very start of the game. If you buy these three you will be pretty much one shotting low health carries like the AD carry and stuff. But, if you don't snowball thought they kinda become irrelevant as the game goes on. So, its very risky. It can pay off. It's a bit more of a fun game. I recommend like normal games. Probably not competitively like solo Q. It can go really well but, it can go really badly as well. So, none of these builds can really lose you a game but, I guess ghostblade is getting closer to that. Because you fall off a bit mid game if you're behind don't really get ghostblade its not going to give you enough damage. You wanna go for Crit or Death's Dance. And this can definitely lose you a game even more so than the others (GB+EoN+Dusk).

  • I'll be cutting this big chunk into small sentences with mine to compare

So, its very risky. It can pay off.

  • From the guide: If you're snowballing and confident that you can snowball out of control with pure raw damage against a very squishy team. Then the build you'd want to go is the Lethality builds. Which consists of GB+EoN+RFC and GB+EoN+Dusk. These are still the highest early game damage combos to go but, they're now the riskiest because of how weak Lethality is compared to earlier this season. You need to keep snowballing consistently with kills or be taking a good amount of team tower objectives with the early game powerspike you get with these items. (Okay its basically just dumbed down on the other side)

  • You say that none of these builds you stated can really lose you a game. Implying going any of the builds you suggested won't lose you a game. But, then you change your mind about ghostblade and remember at the end that it falls off mid game compared to the others. And that if you're behind you shouldn't get ghostblade. And you're telling us that you can definitely lose a game even more so than other builds with GB+EoN+Dusk? Shouldn't you have added this information sooner? When you were explaining the builds?

I believe thats all the evidence I have and all I had to say about this. It just really sucks that people do this. Especially big YouTubers. You'd expect better. I would have been fine if he had contacted me about him wanting to make a summary or worked together on something. But, he decided to attempt to plagiarize. He passed it all as his own work and his opinions. After he got caught he decided to remove all the comments and just show how guilty he was. I really bad me feel awful when it happened but, I'm sure he has done this to other people and other youtubers are doing the same. So, I'm just hoping I can bring some light into this poor youtube practice and hopefully it'll discourage other youtubers from doing the same thing.

TLDR: Phylol stole my content. Tried to pass it as his own on his video without any source or credits. The Very Important details section gives a lot of info too at the top or you can just check the imgur http://imgur.com/a/QKu31 and it'll give you a good idea of what went down.

Screenshots for the Upcoming Champ, Kayn and Rhaast

Posted: 27 Jun 2017 12:08 AM PDT

UPDATE: Here is the Video, thanks to /u/imbigking

http://imgur.com/a/GLQQt

for your convience, The video showcase the upcoming champ's passive. which upon slaying an enemy champ, he can harvest their souls then able to transform into two forms. theres a red form which almost the same as yasuo with knock up and dash spin, and a blue form which has faster and stronger AA.

remember the teaser in the champion road map showing an eye? apparently its an eye on scythes of his demonic form, So this gotta be real teaser http://nexus.leagueoflegends.com/2017/06/champion-roadmap-june-2017/

New champ has two souls in one body, demonic - Rhasst and shadow - Kayn with red and blue respectively.

Okay so after 3 "half and half" champions, I think the best choice for Kindred is a remake / full rework.

Posted: 27 Jun 2017 11:09 AM PDT

Like, the 'mini rework' they gave Kindred helped a bit, but did not fix them at all on the whole (you have to counter jungle the enemy) mechanic. In higher elos, this mechanic alone is hurtful as it can result in many a dead Kindred. The jungler can either be a champ which can out duel you (Xin Zhao, Yi, Graves, WW) or have their top / mid / bot hide in a bush, wait for you, and kill you with CC upon arrival.

I think the best fix for this champion after Xayah and Rakan and even this new leaked champion Kayn, is to rework Kindred in general. My point being, they don't fit their thematic at all. They are death, they are meant to embody DEATH ITSELF. D E A T H. So why doesn't it feel that way? It feels like we are just playing a walking Lamb creature and we have our pet flying Wolf beside us. Why would death just be wandering into the enemies jungle if it's not to kill them?

Kindred just needs a full scale kit rework, with Wolf being A LOT more involved. Looking at the new champ and Rakan / Xayah, the new champion looks more like a true "2 parts of 1 being" champion than Kindred does (even if the new champion is 2 beings). Able to play as both halves rather than 1 90% of the time. Wolf is only involved in 1 of Lamb's abilities majorly (sure E has the mark and bite, but Lamb is mostly the one doing the attacking while she just 'commands' Wolf to attack them afterwards. Doesn't feel impactful at all.)

Overall though, the Kindred 'mini rework' was not good, and the best choice for this cool champion is... a full scale rework of their kit (maybe keep 1 ability or even 2 if they can find a way to make them work better), as currently we can see the technology is there to make true evolving champion. Give Kindred the ability of playing as Wolf (similar to Quinn's old Valor transformation maybe?) Where for a few seconds you can become the Wolf, get some damage in with new abilities and even have your own separate 'marks' with ominous music or sounds playing letting them know that the Wolf or the Lamb is on its way for them, with different music / sounds playing depending on which is currently in play.

It's just a few thoughts I had after realizing that Kindred does not at all feel like a "2 halves of a being" champion but rather "a Lamb and her pet Wolf ghost" with these other "half & half" champions making them look like nothing at all.

TIL Baron takes 50% reduced damage from his most recently auto-attacked Champion

Posted: 27 Jun 2017 03:07 AM PDT

For 15 seconds!

Hell, I've been playing since OBT and Baron was just a tiny cute worm back then. Even after the Summoner's Rift update, I never knew about Baron's passives, actives, and other effects.

Here's a rundown of his stuff:

  1. MELEE ATTACKS: Baron Nashor deals 100% AD to all enemies within a 175-unit radius.

  2. SINGLE-TARGET REAR ATTACK: Baron Nashor summons a spike from the ground that deals 100% AD damage and stuns his target for 1 second.

  3. AREA-OF-EFFECT REAR ATTACK: Baron Nashor summons a cluster of spikes from the ground, dealing 50% AD damage and stunning enemies hit for 1 second.

  4. PRESENCE OF THE BARON: When Baron Nashor spawns, he will knock away all units, wards, and targetable traps to the edge of his pit. While Baron Nashor is still alive, he will continue to knock these back if more are placed.

  5. CROWD CONTROL IMMUNITY: Baron Nashor is immune to all forms of crowd control except stasis. Additionally, his stats cannot be reduced by any means.

  6. BARON'S GAZE: Baron Nashor takes 50% reduced damage from the champion that he has most recently auto-attacked for 15 seconds.

  7. VORACIOUS CORROSION: Baron Nashor's basic attacks apply a debuff that reduces the target's armor and magic resistance by 0.5, stacking up to 100 times for a total of 50 maximum reduction.

  8. VOID CORRUPTION: Baron Nashor periodically deals 30 (+ 5% AD) magic damage and applies a stack of Voracious Corrosion to the nearest champion with the lowest number of Voracious Corrosion stacks.

  9. ACID POOL: Baron Nashor spits out 3 pools of acid in a cone in front of him, dealing 10% AD magic damage to all champions hit and creating a field that slows targets' movement speed within the pool's radius.

  10. ACID SHOT: Baron Nashor spits acid in a straight line, dealing 20% AD magic damage to all enemies it hits.

  11. TENTACLE KNOCKUP: After a brief delay, Baron Nashor knocks up all enemies at the target location dealing 25% AD magic damage to all enemies hit. Tremors will indicate the targeted location.

TIL - With Kayn as the 137th champion you can earn 2 ARAM rerolls in just 3 games

Posted: 27 Jun 2017 01:32 PM PDT

Right now you need minimum 4 games to earn 2 rerolls, since (136+30) x 3 is only 498.

With Kayn added (and if you own all the champions), we'll have (137+30) x 3 = 501 points!

Only really useful if you play ARAM, own all the champions and reroll twice in one game, but hey, it's math! Bye!

P.S.: Next milestone would be 220 champions and one reroll per game, so... in a "few" years... ;)

Zilean's E range indicator is wildly inaccurate. Like, not even close. (Picture inside)

https://gyazo.com/e0350129ebb4d3a8dba2b57927e3c3de

In this screenshot from a clip, Annie is literally 100% inside the circle. And this is just one of MANY instances Zilean players come across of this happening. In this particular clip I was ALREADY ranting about the range indicator being doodoo.

Sometimes it's worse than others, but it gets us into trouble quite often because you'll continue running towards an enemy or ally attempting to speed/slow them and it'll get you killed. (Here's the clip in it's entirety)

I would really like to select my skin instantly after locking in my champion

Posted: 27 Jun 2017 12:45 PM PDT

After I lock in my champion, I can only see the champions list. I can't select the skin that I want to use, that's only after everyone has selected his/her champ. I find that very weird and I see no reason to not have it the other way around.. Would be nice if this could be changed

Diana changes are coming to the PBE

Posted: 27 Jun 2017 02:17 AM PDT

Ricklessabandon tweeted out these changes that are coming to PBE (probably tonight).

Basically, the changes are:

  • (Passive) Moonsilver Blade
    • no longer grants 20% attack speed
  • (Q) Crescent Strike
    • Cooldown: 10/9/8/7/6 >>> 8/7.5/7/6.5/6
  • (E) Moonfall
    • new passive: Diana's spell casts grant her 40/50/60/70/80% attack speed for next 3 attacks

What do you guys think? Will she be more playable now or?

Udyr Changes soon on the PBE. Phoenix now scales with AD.

Posted: 27 Jun 2017 02:24 AM PDT

What do you think ?

Seem like good changes, you'll now be able to build ad/tank as usual but chose between two types of gameplay within tiger and phoenix (Or even both ?). Ap udyr was fun though...

EDIT: For those who can't access the link here is the changes :

Mouvement Speed : 345 >>> 355

Inner Beast (P) : When Udyr switches stance in COMBAT he gains +4% cdr, +4% AS, +6% base AD for 7s (max 5 stacks)

Tiger Stance (Q) :

Cd 6>>>5, AS duration 5>>>6, Base damage and ad ratio down (scales with bonus ad), Dot duration 2>>>6, No longer deal the rest of the damage and refresh if reapplied, now deal +6% more damage per stack of Inner Beast.

Turtle and Bear Stance (W/E) : Cd 6>>>5

Phoenix Stance (R) :

Cd 6>>>5, Early Base damage and ratio up, Late down but now scales with bonus ad (both aura and cone), Flame aura duration 4>>>6, Cone deal +6% more damage per stacks of Inner Beast.
