[Lore]The most tragic character of the story?

Posted: 07 May 2017 12:08 PM PDT

I think it's either the Diablo I warrior or rogue. They both were brave heroes and fought Diablo. But one had become the host of terror and the rogue was turned into Blood Raven against her own sisters.

The sorcerer was a bit better, at least he just went mad rather than become a demon.

AbrazivOtter - Fastest High Grift Meta (95-100) Guide: Average ~8min runs.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=po4zyrll9-4 NOTE: This is purely my opinion on what is the fastest meta build. Could be wrong, could be right. But from experience, this seems like the fastest, most efficient, and fun meta composition to play for Speed 95-100. Enjoy!

[QUESTION] What is diablo all about?

Posted: 07 May 2017 06:08 PM PDT

Hey guys. I get it, I'm on the subreddit asking this question. It isn't a question about lore necessarily, but more of game play. What do you Even do? What are seasons about because from reading I didn't really understand. Is this game like Wow where I can q to do a dungeon? About seasons, I heard you have to make a new character. I didn't really understand that. Basically what is the point for a new player who knows nothing about diablo to play this game. Is there replayability? Is it a worthwhile game. I'm asking all these dumb questions because I'm Not a huge single player game type of person. I like games like hearthstone or starcraft where I can play by myself, and also like games like overwatch or dota 2 or hots. And survival games. Really though, I like competitive games where I can improve and see my improvement. Does this game have that and how so?

Thank you for listening to my rambling. EDIT: Convince me to buy this cool game.

Shrine Monk?

Posted: 07 May 2017 02:57 PM PDT

Hey guys, i wonder if the gloves for 10 min shrines are really that mandatory for a "shrine monk". we tested and the effects of the shrines and they dont apply for the group, only the monk itself. lots of ppl said, the exp shrine would still be generating more exp for the group, but there is no indicator. bonus exp for all group members stays the same, as if there was no shrine at all.. can anyone please help me out? make a statement? thanks ‹3

Level 70/50, have lots of questions and need help!

Posted: 07 May 2017 08:24 PM PDT

So I obviously want better gear as is the point of the game, so do i run rifts or bounties for more gear?

Also the kanai's cube has been useless for me so far, it's done nothing, I also haven't unlocked any powers as of yet, when does that come?

Also I hear you make better weapons? Is that through the cube? And where do i get the Matts?

Just so much to the game I'm so confused

And when I run a rift, if I choose a higher level rift with my rift key like say level 12 will that have a higher chance of better gear than say 6?

Got 3 gems to 65 for the first one, but stuck trying to figure out which to try for a second. All seem pretty damn rough... Thoughts on the best option for a second?

Questions about difficulty from someone who's only played Starter Edition

Posted: 07 May 2017 11:13 AM PDT

So, normal mode is ... pitiful. I can stand right in the middle of a mob and not even take a scratch. I know when the game was released, you couldn't choose harder difficulty modes until you'd beaten the previous ones - is this still the case?

As for skill builds, are you ever forced to make a choice? I'm kinda wondering what is the point of creating new characters within the same class if you can respec at any time, any skill or any rune.

And this isn't about difficulty, but what exactly is season mode? I've only ever played the Torchlight games so I'm not used to the concept of seasons in a hack and slash game.

Blizzard games are supposed to come with CD keys in the box correct?

Posted: 07 May 2017 11:33 AM PDT

I just purchased the physical edition of the reaper of souls expasion from walmart since it was the only copy nearby I could find and I love blizzards physical editions of PC games.

Anyways when I opened the box I cant find a CD key anywhere and when I put the disc in it says it requires a key to install.

Am I doing something wrong or did walmart fuck up on me?

Is Marauder's set dungeon a joke by Blizzard or something?

Posted: 07 May 2017 05:27 AM PDT

How the hell are you supposed to anticipate Rockworms popping up out of nowhere?

Am I doing this shit wrong or something?

EDIT: Should've done this edit beforehand but I did end up completing it. Sorry for the bitch post. I don't think I want to delete this though in case someone has the same issue as me and ends up Googling it, because I didn't really find any info like in the comments.
