While we're changing colors, can we change the Wolf collar palette too?

[Suggestion] - Can we have hotbar swapping in survival too?

Posted: 10 Feb 2017 10:25 AM PST

So the new creative hotbar presets are awesome, but it'd be even better if the feature was ported over for survival use too.

Obviously it couldn't work exactly the same, but I think the core feature of being able to swap hotbars would be immensely useful when building in survival mode.

The survival inventory consists of 4 rows each with 9 slots.

Basically using a similar system, holding Shift + 1/2/3 would switch your current hotbar with the corresponding row.

I think it'd make inventory management so much faster and more efficient when on the go.

A plea to Mojang: Please don't change concrete powder to set in rain/snow

Posted: 09 Feb 2017 09:24 PM PST

I am in love with this weeks snapshot. Terracotta, concrete, and most of all, the concrete powder blocks.

Now, I'm seeing some comments in posts about concrete powder being changed in next week's snapshot to 'set' in the rain, as it does now when placed in water.

I really hope you don't make such a change, as it could eliminate a ton of possibility. For example, I experimented with a beach made out of the grey concrete powders, simulating a black sand beach in Hawaii. If I were to do this on an island, for example, it'd set in the first rainfall, turning my beautiful beach into a big ole rock.

I've seen others experimenting with paths, roads, and fantasy biomes. I know the current functionality may not be intended, but what better service can a snapshot perform than showing alternative ideas? Other than testing, of course ;)

Heck, this may not be an issue at all. I've found no evidence of a Mojangsta saying that the behavior would change. Just comments on other posts on this subreddit.

Made a replica of the unidentified contraption that Mumbo destroyed in Hermitcraft 4 Ep. 140. Rest in peace.
