If you are from Australia, DO NOT PLAY COMP THIS WEEKEND Posted: 10 Feb 2017 06:33 AM PST The current heat wave hitting the country is forcing the electricity companies to turn off power to some places because the current infrastructure of the country can't support all the people with their air conditioners. If you do decide to play, expect leavers for that reason. This isn't a joke btw. [link] [comments]

StatSpy: A Free Browser Based Demo Analyzer, Statistics Suite, Practice Tool, & More. Posted: 10 Feb 2017 02:15 PM PST StatSpyWe're really proud after many months of work to be able to release this. After hearing the community talk about a better way for the average player to watch & analyze demos we think we've got something that can really help out. StatSpy now has a free demo analyzer that lets you watch your games with fully accurate events to the tick, comment/tag/draw on your games and send them to friends and teammates, develop statistics based off your performances, and the best part? It's all done through your browser. No downloads, no software. Don't even need CS:GO installed. Every game you upload is hosted on our servers and put into your own demo database. From there you can navigate your list through a number of fields (map, team, name result, custom tags, etc.) and watch games/rounds or develop statistics based off of your selected games. We have a few premium features as well which mainly allow for you to upload an unlimited amount of demos in our current state and test out new features before they're fully released. We'd love for you to check us out and hope that we can provide something that this community really loves. We're 100% feedback driven and have really developed this with GlobalOffensive and the greater CS:GO community in mind. Your concerns and ideas are what will shape this project going forward. You can see a more in depth run through of the site and play around with the demo player here: All of us will be answering questions in this thread for as long as they're asked but going forward if you'd like to talk, have an idea for us, comment on something, get help with something, or just vent frustrations we're always on our discord server and newly minted very work-in-progress subreddit as well: Discord, StatSpy Subreddit! For Mobile Users Here's A Site Overview - (Screenshots/Gifs)
Basic Features - (Gifs)
Accuracy and Precision - (Gifs)
Sharing with Teammates and Friends (Gifs)You can share your whole game or specific rounds to friends

Unfairly bannned Norwegian player is in need of help. Posted: 09 Feb 2017 10:50 PM PST Edit: He has now been unbanned: https://twitter.com/NordicWarthogs/status/830183980087537664 Hello there, reddit. I will make this brief, as I am typing this on my phone. There was an incident in the biggest CS:GO league in Norway, "Telenorligaen" (http://gamer.no). "Radifaction", a player in the first division was unfairly banned after getting reported for one wallbang (and a bunch of other situations that, according to Gamer.no, are sketchy). However , they are not. This is a player in the first division, and this was his debut match for the team. They played a BO2 against a pretty famous team in Norway, "Demise". Now, on the front page of Gamer.no, they say they have banned a cheater. Please review the demo for yourself. Here is the video made by their IGL trying to explain the clips (it's in Norwegian, subs below) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9fbmuKmw6Ag Translation with timestamp: http://pastebin.com/KhyZe1Vy Demos: Cache (the map that was reported):- https://www.gamer.no/filer/demoer/222_nordic-warthogs-demise-elektroniske-sportsklubb_de_cache.dem Cobblestone: https://www.gamer.no/filer/demoer/227_nordic-warthogs-demise-elektroniske-sportsklubb_de_cbble.dem [link] [comments]
