Starting today The SpeculationRP Server has hidden 5 protector cases throughout the land of Chernarus. Each case has A book AND specific items in them. When and IF you find a case you simply contact an ADMIN via Teamspeak or Steam and say the name of the book and describe the items inside and where you found the case. When and IF you find them it will be checked with the list and you will get a redeem code for your steam gift card. As cases are found it will be posted on the steam group and website to let players know how many are still active. They are not impossible to find (such as sitting in the woods somewhere on the corner of the map) But they are not laying out in the open road. Each case contains a $10 steam card , Happy Hunting.. FPS drop when scoping

Normally I have around 80-110 fps but when I scope in it can drop in to 25-60 fps. Has anyone had anything similar and found a solution? It only happens when I use scopes, not when I zoom in.

As the title says. We all know Dayz has is a game with very unique combat scenarios, with altercations occasionally lasting nearly an hour. Sometimes a hot situation can last so long you're hanging back while your body keeps an eye out so you can guzzle a bottle of water to keep hydrated. No other game really has that, if you think about it. Let's have a back and forth and put our heads together on how to formulate tactics during a firefight. Particularly how to dismantle and defeat a group of enemy combatants. A lot of players could stand to benefit from hearing out the combat tactics of some of this subs' more veteran fighters. I'm talking when to wait, when to move, when to take the shot, when to shoot nearby them to remind them you're there, when to stay silent and still while the other members of your fire team pull them away so you can ambush. Maybe even some lone wolf tactics when fighting a group. Like how to maneuver and make nullify the strength in numbers mentality. Most any veteran of a battlefield or even Halo game can go in depth on one-on-one tactics, so let's focus on groups, making sure you're always covering your back and making the enemy go where you want.

Need to replace my GPU, will dayz work on this?

I have a xfx radeon 7870 that I put in when I built my computer back in 2013. it finally shit the bed, so I need to swap it out. I'm strapped for cash so I want to pay as little as possible and still have a card that will play dayz at the same fps or a little better if possible. My cpu is a i3550 or 3750 i can't really remember. I'm thinking of swapping my broken 7870 with a rx 460 2gb. will that work out alright for dayz?

tl/dr: rx460 2gb. will it play? anyone else use this card for dayz?

edit: i was getting pretty good frames on my old 7870 on med and high settings. 60 in the fields and in buildings, and 30 in the biggest city streets

Where'd bananas and landmines go?
