I know Jeff and the whole team has been thanking the players for this wonderful year, but I'd like to take this time to send a huge thank you to Blizzard from the players.

Looking on this Reddit, I see many users talking about how this game has changed their life, and they wouldn't know what they would've done without it, and I completely agree.

This game has changed the lives of many people because of their hard work, and that is something that every gaming company should strive to become.

Every time I turn on my PS4, and launch Overwatch, there is not a time where I am not smiling and just having fun with my friends. It has been my stress reliever, and my interest. That is something I'd never want to give back.

Overwatch is amazing. This subreddit is amazing. YOU are amazing.

Thanks for making this year the best it could possibly be, Blizzard. I cannot wait to see what 2017 has in store for our community.

I gained over 700 SR today using only Torbjorn with this one simple trick!

I used a country accent.

Not even kidding. I thought it would be funny to do this overly optimistic country boy persona in my games to spice things up, and it ended up creating some really successful games.

With what I thought was a rather cartoonish southern accent, I found myself convincing people attack torb was perfectly fine simply by agreeing with them that he was bad and then rambling off some unintelligible nonsense. The accent seemed to smooth them and encourage them that everything was okay. I found myself using it to make jokes and tell people when they were doing well, or even if we weren't, to be the overly encouraging country guy.

It was fun, and got me over 700 SR today. It ended in large gains, many friend requests (which I think means I have to keep up the persona) and even people thanking me for my Torb play.

Maybe it's the Christmas spirit, but today was a good day.
