I'm blown away

I'm a old Mod player and not long ago, I had a discussion with a friend, that DayZ Standalone never will be finished. One of the biggest disappointments for me. Well, I kept reading here and as I read your feedbacks about 0.61 I thought to my self this week, lets give it a shot again. What can I say, I'm addicted again to one of the best games I ever played. Back are these feelings you only get in DayZ. Walking alone through a forest at the end of the world, just to stumble over an other player. Heartbeats over 9000 while looting NWA. Even better, there are many military zones now. The new fresh spawn in the east is wonderful. The hole map is now playable and a hole new world for me to explore. I try to read and watch as less as possible, to get back the feeling I had when i first played the mod. It's so cool to explore the game features which I don't know yet. The Devs did a wonderful job I'm so surprised and lucky, to get this feeling back, I thought I'd never have again in a game. So, I just wanted to say thank you, for this community, for the Devs and all the random players that kill me or get killed by me.

If public, are you playing for 3pp and shared character servers?
If private, are you looking for 1pp or 3pp and loot persistence to build a camps/bases?

The improvised bow is INSANELY good against zombies.

All you need is a long wood stick, some rope, and sharpened twigs for ammo.
They usually one shot zombies, and is so quick and easy to make.

Reminder: You can store fish hooks in Boonie Hats

Some people may know, some people may not. But you can keep a fishing hook (both normal and improvised/crafted) in a boonie hat, saving an extra space. Since 0.61 has had adjustments made to hunger/thirst rates, finding food in general is something players need to keep an eye on this patch, and those wanting to fish might find this useful.

After finally putting some time into the 0.61 build I can say this is the DayZ I have always wanted. I cannot explain how happy I am that PvE is finally back. Moving through cities slowly and avoiding the Zeds instead of sprinting is awesome! Idk I haavent played for half a year, but this is the DayZ build that is worth returning for me.

Winchester rounds rarity [0.61]

Hey guys, I haven't even touched 0.61 exp and now that it's finally coming to stable, One thing that made me frustrated was that I was never able to find winnie rounds, On a char that survived ~20h I found a single 20 pack of them, So the question is, How rare are they in 0.61?

Bow and Arrow is really good..

It's great! It can one-hit most zombies and you can get it within 10 minutes of spawning in. I've yet to test it on other players, but it seems slightly overpowered for a piece of rope attached to a stick.. The ammo is so simple to collect, just cut up bushes and sharpen sticks. You can attach feathers and bone and make real arrows, but I find that sharpened sticks do the job well enough. Anyone else starting to like the bow and arrow?

DayZ technical issue

Thought maybe someone would know whats going on here.
When I load dayz onto main screen it loads onto my Screen 1.
When I alt-tab > come back into game, it switches to screen 2.
No other game does this.
Help?
