Official Changelog
Enabled the Weekend Battle Cup.- Fixed Astral Spirit animation not being canceled if Elder Titan cancels it.
- Fixed Glimmer Cape to respect the "teleport requires hold/stop" option.
- Improved performance of March of the Machines while wearing Tinker's Immortal.
Battle Pass
Misc- The Battle Pass has been extended to August 31, 2016.
- The event date end time for The International 2016 has been changed from Sun, 14 Aug 2016 07:00:00 GMT to Wed, 31 Aug 2016 23:59:00 GMT.
- The Summer Battle Cup 2016 is live. The first one begins tomorrow. More details in the link. | link
- Battle Cup Tickets are now available on the Dota 2 Store for $0.99
- You also get one ticket when you purchase a Battle Pass and more when you upgrade the pass to Level 137.

- The Battle Cup tab on the Play bar is now available.

UI Updates
Live Page- A new button has been added to the games from the Battle Cup that show on the Live Tab for you to click and see the bracket of that particular tournament.
- A new ad has been added for the Legion Commander Quest Line and Immortal. | It tells users that the item will never be tradeable or marketable. So they need to get it before TI ends.
String Updates
Battle Cup- A bunch of supporting strings for the Battle Cup system have been added.
- Minor typo fix to one of the tips on the loading screen.

Bot Updates
- Skill build updates for the Crystal Maiden bot | Maxes out Frostbite now instead of taking a level of Crystal Nova at Level 4. Also maxes out Frostbite before Brilliance Aura. Ulti is skilled at Level 11 instead of Level 13.
Console Updates
- Some new console commands related to the Battle Cup have been added.
- dota_toggle_hero_movie_mode <cmd> - Show item details pages with minimal UI, for recording hero movies

SWAT: Reborn has been released!
The classic Warcraft III map has been recreated in Dota 2!Cooperative map with a goal of completing objectives while surviving waves of computer-controlled enemies. Teamwork is essential as is using each class's strengths to their fullest. Enemies are numerous and extremely dangerous, resulting in non-stop and intense action.

Starladder i-League Starseries season 2 will be held from 21-24 of July at the BTS house!

Enable Battlecup ticket recycle - by Chamangoooooooo
I'm thankful to Volvo for creating this event and I think that it's a great idea. However, every Saturday I work night shift and I simply can't participate. And there are many people like me, who bought battle pass, but cannot use battle cup ticket because of some obligations IRL. Please enable us to recycle the ticket for battle pass points.
Suggestion: Fiend's Grip should be undispellable so you have to interrupt the channel to cancel it - by cantadmittoposting
As a single target, channeled ultimate, Bane's fiends grip is ridiculously easy to fight around; not only is it cancelled by cancelling the channel, short CD Strong Dispels instantly render it completely useless. Additionally, bane's entire kit is single target, so nullifying his ult makes bane a situational-bordering-on-useless pick when compared to numerous other selections. (Despite this I acknowledge a "good bane draft" makes fiend's grip very difficult to deal with).
I believe a simple buff to bane is to make fiends grip outright undispellable... Grip can still be cancelled or mitigated in numerous ways (linkens and channel-cancelling, killing bane, etc.) but can't be simply purged off at a moments notice from range (e.g. press the attack, aphotic shield) or even self purged (dark pact)
This buff has a relatively narrow scope but still broadens bane's overall appeal and reinforces his niche as the ultimate single target counter.

Yes, a serious Wisp arcana! It seems a lot of people still think the push for a Wisp arcana is a joke, or are just unsure of what a Wisp arcana would actually look like. I'm not talking lightbulbs or silly MS Paint designs (dank as they are)--here are some seriously impressive submissions on the Steam Workshop that show that even this floating ball has lots of potential for flashy cosmetics.
First up is the Datastar Progenitor, a set that has been under development for over a year, featuring customeverything, including icons, cursors, weather effects, item usage effects, and even kill banner effects.

Second is the Celestial Spark, submitted a few months before the Datastar Progenitor. It lacks some of the fancier assets of the Progenitor, but it still has some beautiful custom ability icons and animations, preferring to go for something a bit more faithful to the original.

MASSIVE Arc Warden bug - by Tbabs
In 6.87, Arc Warden received the following change:
"Magnetic Field now only evades attacks done from outside of the field"
Where previously being inside Magnetic Field (Boob) would grant evasion versus all enemies, it now only grants evasion versus enemies outside of the Boob. However, because of Tempest Double, Arc Warden can cast two Boobs at once (Double Boob). Double Boob has many possible configurations, such as perfectly overlapping, somewhat overlapping, and not overlapping at all. See the following diagrams.

The following depicts CM, Arc Warden, and Lina inside Double Boob, where CM is in Left Boob, Lina is in Right Boob, and Arc Warden is in Both Boobs.

If, as stated previously, "[Boob] now ... evades attacks done from outside of the field", then logically CM should not be able to hit Arc Warden because, though she is in Left Boob, she is not in Right Boob, thus Arc Warden gets 100% evasion versus CM. Similarly, Lina should not be able to hit Arc Warden because, though she is in Right Boob, she is not in Left Boob, thus Arc Warden gets 100% evasion versus Lina.
This does not occur in-game. Instead, whichever hero resides in the Boob that was placed first will still be able to hit Arc Warden, while the hero that resides in the Boob that was placed last will not be able to hit Arc Warden.
This does not even.
Logically, if Arc Warden resides in the cross section of Double Boob, enemy heroes should only be able to hit him if they also reside in the cross section of Double Boob (unless they have MKB).
Here are some gifs that illustrate the problem with two Boobs and two Axes, then three Boobs and three Axes. Keep an eye on the big health bar or feel free to test it out yourself in-game.
Though this is a pretty minor inconsistency, I think it deserves to be fixed since it would be logically consistent and it would slightly strengthen Arc Warden. I think that subtle mechanics and interactions are one of the coolest and most interesting things about Dota 2, and I would love to one day see a pro game where someone uses this trick to save a friendly hero from, say, an enemy LC Duel and her team's ranged physical damage.
