FYI: Instagram account was "hacked" after signing up through the kung fu tea app

my password was secure with random letters, randomly capitalized with random numbers. The only place i logged into it was through the kungfu tea app. It was something like aY8@8-li2!~ (not exactly this, but I wanted to prove that it wasnt just brute forced.)

Hey Reddit!

The Raider's Inn is a NA-based Discord server dedicated to both training and gathering groups for raids. No experience necessary! Also looking for more trainers :)

What we offer

  • Highly knowledgeable trainers that are experienced in the raids themselves and are available to answer questions about classes and boss fights.

  • Scheduled runs and impromptu trainings. Scheduled runs let you have an organized spot and time to raid in, impromptu trainings allow for on the fly raid experience.

  • A learning environment. We understand that some of you may join because you want to learn how to do raids, others join because you want to learn how to play a new class. Working together to a kill is a team effort so we do offer a welcoming atmosphere.

  • A more laissez-faire training atmosphere. No graduation or tier system! While some bosses are harder than others, we welcome anyone with a positive attitude to try out any boss. We do have some suggestions as to which bosses are easier/harder for beginners but anyone can do any boss if they do the mechanics correctly.

    Experienced raiders are also welcome to join training runs, we ask if theres high demand that you sign on as a backup however.

General server rules

  • Don't be a dick. Joking around is fine, toxicity is not.

  • Meta builds are recommended. We do reserve the right to refuse training if we see a non-meta build. Meta builds are tried and tested and are the most effective.   • Be accepting of criticism. We'll help you as much as you can but the best way to improve is to understand where you messed up as an individual.

Before i go on , I'm not a pro. I've only tried 3 class types & have only played the game for 2 months now. (But put a 5+ hours every day)

I want to make this thread so it can help other f2p users . Some of these things may sound tedious but its a necessity that f2p users won't know till the end.

free space/slots

the problem

As a f2p user you only get 30 free slots in your bank account & 3 bag slots per character. This will be a big problem for you since when you start you will only one 20 slot bag. You won't come across or afford another such bag still half way through the game. So you will have to manage with 4 or5 slot bags

the Solution: f2p accounts get 2 free character slots , create a spare character. And move items from your bank account into your spare characters default 20 slot bags & other bags

This is a really useful trick , by the time you saved up enough gold to buy 18 & 20 slot bags you will potentially have 150 free slots (ch1 20x3 + 30 bnk + ch2 20x3) instead of 90 free slots .

Armor & weapons

1.

Do . Not. Spend .any gold on any fighting gear. Just Don't .f2p users need to grind their way to level 60 to have the need for it, that will take time & you will need the gold for essentials early on .(ex : for 4x 20 space bags) Buy fighting gear only when you hit level 80. If you do want to buy , use your karma.

2.

Complete the main story , they give all the items you need till then.

3.

Repeat dungeons . Dungeons are your best friend for gold & free gear .

4.

If you have no problem with getting slaughtered again & again , try pvp . Your aim here is not to win its about getting those tombs of knowledge , forgot about winning , you can't win , u still haven't had enough hero points to unlock all abilities& ur weapons are still .Use the tombs to level up. Don't use it save it till you hit around 40 & 50 , where you unlock dungeons & no one wants to do story mode , level up there so you won't have to waste precious hours fighting with shit gear.

5.

When you finally level up & unlock it, devote yourself to Wvw & fractals , they give god tier gear . The only place where you get gear good enough to keep up with regular users.

tired of grinding?

problem

As f2p user you need to spend hours more to level up , run around more compared to regular users. Since lions arch is locked till level 35, so going to new cities take time & confusing

the solution

Skip the hearts or take a break , they give shit for the amount of time you put anyway. There are better ways to level up ,Stock up on axe /pic axes, as you are running around to reach the next city harvest everything you come across. When you reach the city craft items , with it. U will probably level up more then doing those pointless missions anyway.

still grinding at higher levels ?

Once you hit level 60 fuck pve & jump to wvw . Wvw is a f2p users be , no chat restriction, god tier armors & weapons , rewards you appropriately, can select your reward track. Anyone & everyone can make a difference. Few hours in you would have easily a dozen tombs of knowledge since u start as lvl 1 there . & tada , you are now level 80. Now go to pve complete ur personnel story to get the best gear it can offer.

lonely?

Join a guild. f2p users have severe chat restrictions , chances are you feel like you are playing a singer player game instead of a mmorpg in pve.So your best way to make any long lasting social interaction is in guild chats. joining guilds is a lot more difficult for f2p users , even though guilds heads spam their names , f2p user can't whisper to ppl in different maps . You need to be quick & lucky. Since lions arch is locked your best bet is to wait @ starter areas & cities markets , where if you are lucky guild members occasionally drop by to spam the spam the message. Or you could try camping @ dungeon entries & ask the ppl there.

build your charter

if everyone wore the same gear, Core characters die easily against characters with expectation traits. So you have to save up & build your character , either on defense or one shotting . choose of ability that gives mobility , invincibility & dodge . The aim is to survive long enough to land more blows on them. Carefully choose the runes . They're plenty of build guides for wvw Google it.

still out of space?

Space management . You can store upto 250 of each ingredients,minerals & stuuf . But it too can easily be filled up , so use the base item to craft byproducts, like iron ore to bars , wood to planks etc you store 250 of those too.

What do you want for player housing?

I've never played an MMO with player housing, so when I see people constantly requesting it here I don't really know what it is that people want. What's the difference between player housing and our guild halls and home instance? What sort of reasons would we have for going to our houses and not abandoning cities?

Not trying to argue or pick a fight, I just want to know what people's thoughts are.
