FACEIT Major - Feedback Posted: 06 Sep 2018 04:04 PM PDT Hey guys, This is the FACEIT production team from Twicknham here. First of all we would like to apologize again and take full responsibility for the technical issues we have had so far. It doesn't matter how much we work, we test, or how many plans A, B, C, D etc we have in place, we're responsible for delivering this Major to the Players and the Community and we take full blame for any issues. To give you an idea of our work over the next few days, here's some of the changes we're implementing: Obviously on the network side, we have now multiple backup options fully tested and ready to kick in. We had a small downtime today due to our feeds distribution software crashing (first time in over 400h of broadcast), we're now splitting our feeds in multiple apps and have direct lines to main platforms ready to launch in case that happens again. We've heard the feedback from the players, and we're going to adjust some of our stage equipment to reduce the number of tech delays and setup time between matches. In the coming days, we'll keep ramping up with more content, features and surprises for the fans. We really hope you'll enjoy what we prepared. Ultimately our goal is to please the fans watching the competition, and create the best possible experience for the players at the event. That's why we're posting: we would like to have your honest feedback on our work and what you would like to see more of and less of. We'll be reading the comments below this post. The team here is fully committed to you until the end of the Major and we'll try our best to incorporate as much feedback as possible in this timeframe.
