Maybe you haven't been lucky the whole week and that damn raid Tyrannitar ran and everyone else caught him. Or the worst part, maybe it's monday again?! (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ彡┻━┻ Here we rant about everything that goes wrong, someone who sniped a gymspot ( ￣Д￣）, a missed Tyrannitar again (ಠ_ಠ) or that stupid bug which made you miss your raid because of the server desync, ending the raid prematurely (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ No personal insults, no trolls and provocation but all salty stuff is accepted.

| Why are there so many toxic players? Posted: 05 Aug 2018 07:00 AM PDT I don't get it. It's just a game. I play with my wife and kids because we all are into Pokemon. What I don't get is, we went to a raid one day and we saw a group of people. I asked if we could join in the raid they asked what team, we said instinct. They snorted in disgust but they said yes. While waiting one guy said that a few of them play 8 to 10 hours a day chasing raids. I don't get it. This guy also started to get a bit weird when he saw our usernames. He's like, "oh so your the ones coming and taking our gyms. You're the reason I have to keep coming back to take it back. This is mystic territory and you should leave our gyms alone." Then we raided and left because we felt highly uncomfortable. Some were even playing on 3 devices at once. I just don't understand where people have all this time to Pokemon or even do it that long with little kids in the cars. But here's where things started to get toxic. recently, we took a gym in what is known as, "mystics territory". This was the other day. Dude drives up with massive mystic sticker on the back of his car, with a little girl traveling along looking miserable, guessing his daughter, after we take a gym where they've been in it for 10 hours. We've also seen this car at the raid, and following us at times but I never put 2 and 2 together. He drives right up on us like a bat out of hell, yells at us for taking his gym and tells us to f off his territory and stop taking gyms that don't belong to us. Them he sped of. Ruined the rest of our time. We went to go get drinks, he took the gym and put 4 in there. I drove back and took a screenshot and reported him. Didn't end there! He lives in my neighborhood and I might end to needing to call the police. My kids told me when they were riding their bikes yesterday, they saw the guy driving behind them, they got out the road even though he had enough space to pass, and he drove by and flipped them both off. I'm about ready to go beat the hell out of a person like he's a highschool bully. I told my son that next time he sees that car driving up on him, quickly pull out his phone and record. Then haul ass to the office or home whichever is closer and call the police. Anyway, please stop taking these mobile games so seriously! It's just that, a game. You're not actually going to be the very best. This game was meant for people to get out, exercise, have fun, and meet new people. Not be jerks and ruin others experiences. Edit:. I wish everyone who played were like all of you. Y'all are all awesome and a great community. I've been reading some of the comments to my wife and kids and they are surprised that one, this took off the way it did and two, the amount of support from everyone. We will call the police next time they stay us or harass my kids again. The only thing I'm worried about is it escalating with their friends. I only found out recently they live in our neighborhood and are well.... Not the best people. So I'm going to have to tread lightly and watch how I handle this. But cops will be called next time. Again, thank you all for your support and also those wanting to take the gyms to keep them out. While I did think about it, I don't want to be like that. I'm not like them nor do I want to play their "game". But I do applaud what y'all do. Both my kids now know to call the police if this guy harasses them again after they get somewhere safe. | Item suggestion: Signal flares - to rally other trainers for raids Posted: 05 Aug 2018 05:02 AM PDT As a solo player in a town that isn't very active, something like a signal flare/smoke over a gym during an active raid boss would rally people who are playing nearby.(probably) I was at a mall today, and I certainly know there has to be someone else playing, so kinda thought if only there was a way to tell them that I'm in a lobby for a raid, your help would be nice. The current system needs you to check the raid lobby to see if someone is available. They might not even consider soloing these raids. Whether it's an item for pokecoins or gym control based, something like this would benefit solo players who usually don't run with a fixed raid squad. [link] [comments]  | ||

| Fun little story I wanted to share! Posted: 05 Aug 2018 07:23 PM PDT This happened the other night! I was chilling at home and opened up Pokémon go. I saw that at a gas station at the end of my street there was a Gyrados. I got fuckin pumped up and excited so I decided at one in the morning to take a short walk in my pj's to go catch it. I get there and there is one other person just chilling there in their car. I think nothing of it but they roll down the window and yell, "You here for the Gyrados?!" I laughed and confirmed I was. I strolled over to his car and we chatted while catching the other Pokémon in the area. We ended up exchanging friend codes and he drove off and that was it. I had a smile on my face the whole walk home. It's one of those little things that I'll never forget. [link] [comments]  | ||

| Posted: 05 Aug 2018 01:14 PM PDT I've spent the last couple days working on this music video in honor of Peaches, my first shiny Absol. Absol is one of my favorite shinies, and Peaches is the culmination of 230 days, 33 raids, and 54 quests. I will forever remember the moment I finally saw him. I had already given up on finding him and had decided to trade for a shiny instead, but I was waiting until best friends. I wheezed when I saw this boy on my catch screen. Since I was hoping to make something heartfelt and maybe amusing out of my long wait, I saved all 86 Absol before Peaches just for this. Hiding in this video are a 100% IV Absol (usually named Gremlin), two 15/14/15s (Blueberry and Cookie), and my first Absol (Cass), all of whom I also treasure. The rest of these babies will be up for trade so I can stop hoarding. :) This video is a spiritual successor to my Suicune music video and to this old clip I made with the same song to celebrate my first shiny Magikarp. Maybe then even let us view all the "for trade" Pokemon of our in-game friends. | Is anyone else finding it hard to get the field research to get a Spinda encounter? | Posted: 05 Aug 2018 12:07 AM PDT So I've played PoGo before but I quit after about a month. Recently picked it up again about 4 weeks ago. So much more now. Buddies and missions to complete for decent items. Anyway, I've been living a very self destructive lifestyle for close to the last decade. Depression is a bitch. Regardless, something clicked in me that I had to make a change. Signed up for a gym pass and started going for walks twice a day. Before and after work. Given my new found mobility I decided to get back into PoGo. Been having a blast and meeting people. I live in a small town so I was taken back by how many players are out and about. A lot of them I never see because they never leave their car, but I've met a few in some raid groups. I know we all hear the "PoGo saved my life" stories but this is different. I needed to make a change and PoGo allows me to still play videogames while living a healthier lifestyle. I went from maybe 2000 steps a day to actually trying to break my records. All while enjoying a game and meeting people. Top 11%. Not bad for a man who sat and waited for death not even 3 months ago! It's never too late. Stop making excuses. Is it possible that we'll see unique spinda forms every month in rotation with the tasks and research breakthrough? Or maybe every week is a different form? | More than favourites. 3 to 5 more symbols to mark Pokémon Posted: 05 Aug 2018 08:57 AM PDT So the idea: now we have trading there's a 99% chance of players saving Mons especially for trading, if you are like I am on poketrade ( btw calling all my dutchies to get on there) then you have a list of Mons on there up for offer but until niantic gives us more markings we can only favourite... Which is why my idea is to add some more markings so we can keep different selections of lots of Mons nice and sortable. [link] [comments]  | ||
| [Idea]It's time for Mass Trades. Posted: 05 Aug 2018 08:40 PM PDT When trading came out, I was so enjoying the new animations. It's really enjoyable to watch......20 or so times. Later on when you are doing mass trades of all the pikachu caught with ya grandson so he can get the pikachu fan badge....not so much. Its long and it hurts to watch....I am falling asleep trying to get the 100 trades in for one day. I just wished I could select anything to trade with the same highlight system we already have for transfers and set an equal amount to trade and boom one click and the all go and all the trades come in. Then I can go to bed! Which is what I am gonna do now! Thanks for reading give a like and don't forget to sub......I mean upvotes are welcome. | New Idea to balance out Rural players lack of pokestops Posted: 05 Aug 2018 02:35 PM PDT So basically I don't live in a really rural place, but the closest pokestop is about a 20 minute bike ride (there and back) though, and to get to it I have to cross a busy intersection (which i hate doing even in a car). So my other opinions are to get it when I go to church, or bike 30 minutes in total for the one other pokestop within a biking distance from me. And i don't want to bike 30 minutes in total just for 3 pokeballs and a berry. So I had the idea of a private pokestop which you can put down at your house so that you could at least get some berries and balls. [link] [comments]  | ||

Posted: 05 Aug 2018 06:46 PM PDT I've been playing since launch and never got a 100% IV Pokémon that I know about until now (although I'm sure that there's statistically been a Pidgey somewhere in there). I already have a high level 98% Vaporeon, but I'm not sure what to do with this new Eevee (especially with community day so close). Any advice for what I should do with Eevee? Also, I've already used nickname tricks for evolution. Does that mean I have no choice but to get a random evolve?
