- I lost my dad two months ago. We didn't share many hobbies, but we both had a love for the Fallout series. It was only fitting that my first tattoo celebrated that, and Incorporated some of his ashes so that he'll always be with me.
- I made a Fallout inspired necklace in my beginner's jewelry class.
- How many of you failed honest hearts in less than 30 seconds?
- I must admit when I'm at work, i listen to "Big Iron" atleast 6 times a day.
- Mechanist Cosplay
- War of the Commonwealth is an amazing mod with no flaws what-so-ever
- Preston Garvey is less annoying in different clothing.
- Concept design for vertibird from fallout 3
- I remember routes in Fallout more than in real life.
- Legion fans: Why should we support the Legion's long term goal?
- Giant Green Geckos are fucking terrifying.
- Companions for Fallout 4
- [NV] I read somewhere that the ranger takedown glitches out the crucified people but couldn't find a clip of it so I created one
- Why are there jail cells in East Boston Prep School? (F04)
- The fallout series will get an official recipe book called The Vault Dweller's Official Cookbook
- Should Bethesda let us kill off factions without a quest? (FO4 main story spoilers)
- Stupid complaint, but Fallout 3's Vault 112 is very poorly designed
- Having trouble finding a character (Fallout New Vegas)
- Germany’s involvement in WW3
- One of my favourite parts of fallout 4 is the legendaries
- Is there a way to stop the Enclave from appearing after Waters of Life quest (F3)? They appear too often, its just annoying me.

| How many of you failed honest hearts in less than 30 seconds? Posted: 05 Aug 2018 10:31 AM PDT I killed follows-chalk during the initial ambush and didn't realise I'd done anything wrong until I'd retrieved the map of Zion. Now I can't be bothered to reload the save before I entered lmao. Poor design or trigger happy player? Or both? [link] [comments] |

| War of the Commonwealth is an amazing mod with no flaws what-so-ever Posted: 05 Aug 2018 04:34 AM PDT Fallout 4 btw It's ridiculous, in a neutral not-good not-bad way. On one hand it is a fantastic tool to both spice up a playthrough or do uber fuckery, but on the other it's really fucking broken in a balance sort of way. What it does is ups the spawn rate and adds a bunch of new spawn points for mobs, friend and foe alike, even giving minor factions like The Forged more screentime so to speak. Before I begin to really describe this mod, I want to say I enjoy it. I started the game with the intention for it to be super cheaty, as I had just gone through a normal playthrough and wanted to do some fuckery with some new mods I downloaded, which included War of the Commonwealth. I get through the beginning and reach the outside of the vault, and the first thing I notice (after using player.setav 'x' 50 on my special stats) is, without even steppign off the platform, a large band of high level ghouls just wandering past. I let them leave (they were heading in the opposite direction of Sanctuary), and head on down the hill, only to be immediately ambushed by super mutants, whom I killed with my fists. I head to codsworth, we do the whole speal, and then I leave Sanctuary, only to quit because Sanctuary Clean Up or whatever it was was glitching out real fucking bad and I decided to change my mods so I had to restart everything. I do the whole thing again, this time with mole rats with bombs attached to them instead of ghouls. Super Mutants in the same spot, though. I head to Concord, where missile wielding raiders were ready to ambush me. Thankfully my fists are a powerful weapon with 50 strength, and they were dispatched quite easily. I saved preston, we leave the place, immediately get ambushed by Forged, then head to Sanctuary, where more super mutants ambush us just before the bridge. I decide I'm going to skip the Minute Man quest at Tenpines Bluff, and head straight to diamond city. I am attacked in Concord by Forged. I find Trashcan Carla fighting a fucking behemoth (I'm level 7 btw) around Trudy's diner. This thing nearly killed me but I got away, only to run into a group of bots that had two assaultrons that spotted me before I spotted them. They killed me real fuckin' fast, but luckily I saved right after I lost the behemoth. I go into the city ruins, and its just the life of the party. Triggermen are surrounding diamond city, the children of atom take down an ancient behemoth like it was nothing. You can spot the Forged a mile away from all the flames they spew. Gunners are everywhere just getting mowed down by the other factions. Minutemen are everywhere, surprisingly surviving but I have We Are The Minutemen installed so they have a little more meat on their bones. Synth armies are sweeping up super mutants and wild mongrels alike. By the time I reach piper the floor outside diamond city is covered in corpses of triggermen, who were equipped with Rippers and silenced pistols. Overall, it added a LOT of adventure to the game, and I fully intend to finish this playthrough, and I imagine it will be extremely difficult even with base 50 stats. The commonwealth actually feels like its at war, instead of everyone just sayign "yeah we're at war with institute" or "we're at war with the railroad" but then there never being any skirmishes between the factions. But there's more to this mod, too. You can customize the amount of enemies, starting from a fuckload (medium/high) going to uber fuckload (ultra) and pleasant stroll (no enemies). The only issue I had with this mod was that the brotherhood of steel spawn I ran into was hostile to me, despite not being on bad terms with BoS. [link] [comments] |
| Preston Garvey is less annoying in different clothing. Posted: 05 Aug 2018 09:02 AM PDT It might just be me but I feel like he's so much easier to deal with if he isn't wearing that goofy minute man outfit. I mean he really wants my ripped, Stalker looking ass to take him seriously while he's wearing that thing??? But seriously I usually give him a nice raider get up and then I'll talk to him. | I remember routes in Fallout more than in real life. Posted: 05 Aug 2018 12:42 PM PDT I still use GPS to get around places I've been to many times, but everytime I play Fallout I know where I'm going, what's there, and what to encounter. [link] [comments] |
| Legion fans: Why should we support the Legion's long term goal? Posted: 05 Aug 2018 03:01 PM PDT Let's assume Edward gets his way and conquers the NCR. By 2300 the Legion controls Southern Oregon, California, Baja, Nevada, parts of Utah, parts of Sonora, parts of Colorado, Arizona and New Mexico (and probably parts of Western Texas if we are being honest). It is now officially "Caesar's Empire." What now? What's the future of humanity, that Empire and why should we as a fan community welcome that fate for the American Southwest in the Fallout universe? | Why are there jail cells in East Boston Prep School? (F04) Posted: 05 Aug 2018 06:21 AM PDT I just did a quest to save a kidnapped settler from the raiders in the school, and there were 2-3 jail cells on the top floor. Is it a common thing to lock up prep school kids? Public school kid here. [link] [comments] |

| Should Bethesda let us kill off factions without a quest? (FO4 main story spoilers) Posted: 05 Aug 2018 01:42 AM PDT Thinking of FO4 here mainly. As we all know when you first go into the Institute you can just kill all of them and take over the place. However the game does not recognize this at all. All it recognizes is that you aren't going to be allied with the Institute, but quests move forward assuming the Institute is still a thing. You can only 'eliminate' the faction through a quest. Similarly I'm pretty sure if you just manually kill everyone in the BoS, the game won't understand the faction is dead unless you do the quest for that. Now I know not every possible option can programmed in, but it seems like destroying a whole faction manually really should be recognized by the game...especially since Bethesda must know that more than a few people are just gonna kill everyone in the Institute the moment they set foot inside. You'd have to auto-complete or fail a bunch of quests but it could just take you right to the end of the mainquest at that point pretty much. Thoughts? Too impractical? Too much freedom? | Stupid complaint, but Fallout 3's Vault 112 is very poorly designed Posted: 05 Aug 2018 02:36 AM PDT Maybe this complaint is long overdue since the game is now 10 years old, but because so many people love Fallout 3 specifically for its in-depth level design, player choices and moral dilemmas I have to point this out. (Spoilers lol) After finishing Tranquility Lane, which is a great mission in its own right, I found that it is impossible to discover anything more about the Vault or alter the concrete ending of the mission. With enough Science skill you can hack your way into a storage room filled with weapons and ammunition as well as a holokey for the Overseer's office, where you can find Dr. Braun in his Tranquility Chamber. However, this is the only notable thing inside the Overseer's office, there is no kind of terminal in which you could discover the original purpose of the vault or alter the simulation. This room could have contained a great branch of collecting knowledge about Braun's past and Vault-Tec by interrogating him, either by altering his simulation to torment him or pulling him out (and maybe killing him). However, it's not even possible to open his Tranquility Chamber in any way, because I am "no longer authorized" to do so which is bullshit level design as I have no way of regaining authorization. Where's the moral dilemma of being able to choose Braun's fate, and the choice of learning more about him or the Vault?? I can understand why the Vault was unusually small, but it could have used a few more rooms and it was overall underwhelming and disappointing. [link] [comments] |
| Having trouble finding a character (Fallout New Vegas) Posted: 05 Aug 2018 07:34 AM PDT So I'm trying to find Arcade Gannon, and I know you can find him in the old Mormon Fort, but he's just not there, and all other links I've read and videos I've watched have all just found him there, I've never talked to him or seen him, if you guys have any suggestions please let me know [link] [comments] |
| Posted: 05 Aug 2018 01:28 PM PDT I don't know much about the war except the basics, so was Germany still an enemy of the US, please enlighten me. [link] [comments] |
| One of my favourite parts of fallout 4 is the legendaries Posted: 05 Aug 2018 05:02 AM PDT Its a really good addition to the series as it adds a reason to farm and can create some hard enemies and unique effects like the explosive combat shotgun, kneecapping sub machine gun or my favourite the never ending double barrelled shotgun. | Posted: 05 Aug 2018 01:07 PM PDT They appear randomly after the Waters Of Life quest. Does anyone know of a mod that disables them from popping up around the wastes? I cant go 10 mins without getting shot at by them or those tanky Robots they have. Its totally ruining the nice walks around the Wastes I used to have. [link] [comments] |
