| Posted: 31 Jul 2018 09:52 AM PDT I just picked up the game after many years of waiting to get a computer that could run it properly. I played through the tutorials and ran a few missions on the campaigns and even did decent on some King of the Hill multiplayer. All that being said, I hit a snag on my campaign that I am sure is a button issue. I was trying to shift between crouching and standing while running so I was hitting the buttons in the shift, ctrl, x, z area when the problem happened. PROBLEM: My character moves extremely slowly after I hit some button combination and when I sprint I only move at normal speed. Also I get exhausted after only using about 10% of my stamina. I'm not overweight and I'm not injured. What do you think I did? [link] [comments]  | ||

Posted: 31 Jul 2018 08:31 AM PDT Hey guys, I've tried googling this and combed this reddit really thoroughly but could not find a clear answer so wanted to ask here again. As per title, I currently play Antistasi by myself by hosting a server on lan. Thing is, even with the AI spawn limit set very low, the game can really drop in fps when major offensives are happening. What I understood from researching headless clients was that it can help in this situation, but most of the posts I saw were about having an extra computer to run the server and also have a headless client, but not necessarily play on it as well. In my case, I only have my one machine, and I'd like to know 1) could i run a headless client AND play on the same machine and 2) should i? [link] [comments]  | ||

| Battleye Client not Responding Posted: 31 Jul 2018 01:50 PM PDT Okay so to start off, i know this might not be the right place to ask this, but i've tried everywhere else and i've been going page for page on google for the past 4-5 days.. Recently i started running into the issue of getting kicked from any server in general be it modded or not with the battleye issue of Client not responding. I've deleted all the Battleye folders in %appdata% local, the one in the arma 3 steam folder and the one in C drive / user. I've checked my packet loss and its at 0 % loss. i've talked to my ISPN and they dont have any issues on their end as they can see Nothing so far has worked.. was wondering if anyone out there has a far out of reach fix that apparently cannot be googled Any help at all would be appriciated. | Posted: 31 Jul 2018 07:38 PM PDT So last night, my squad and I, were put on a mission to recover a downed UAV, no one told me the UAV was in the ocean, 600 meters from shore to be exact, I had to get all new equipment, new weapons, and such, there was 1 weapon available, a 20 round SMG, the only gun that wouldn't jam underwater, so I got my wetsuit, rebreather and mask, no one in the squad, the squad who specializes in water missions,told me that I needed NVGs, we took a little bird to the AO, dropped in, like any other mission, we went down, it got dark, the CO says, 'everyone switch NV on', I didn't have any, I didn't say anything bc I had my radar to guide me, I could see maybe 5 meteres in front of me, that was it, then the CO says, 'Frost, shark on your right', I'm terrified, I reply 'wait what did you say', 'a shark on your right', next thing I know, another guy in the squad 'frost stop moving they won't notice you, there are 2 more', I'm sitting there terrified af, I can't see anything, next thing I know, I see bursts of orange flashes, and gunshots, a shark swims right into my face, tearing me in two, completing my first water mission, I get back to HQ, or respawn I should say, and the CO laughs his ass off when he gets off the heli, I got a promotion, since I was the only one who died, and it was my first mission, and no one informed me that I needed NVGs. I thought this was pretty funny, since I had no clue what was going on [link] [comments]  |
