A friend has been running a private Zeus-based campaign for us for a while, and to get an increase in performance, we've switched to using a "dedicated server" that's running off of their machine. While attempting to set up and run this server, our mission maker cannot enter the mission, and is repeatedly kicked back to the lobby.

Extensive testing has been performed, testing a plethora of mods, as well as the mission file. It's been determined that this bug is only present with ACE loaded, which our group has been wanting to run with for a while.

Question about laser designators

I've been out the game for awhile and know there have been lots of changes. What exactly can lock on to a laser designation these days? Is there any functional difference between a hand-held designator, UAV, or other vehicle?

Want a military sim to play by myself for Singleplayer

Is there a minimum PCML locking range? My PCML won't lock, only shows the "lined" box.

Hi,

I was using the PCML to target an enemy MRAP. It marks the target with the "lined" box but not the solid box with converging diamond. Is there a minimum locking distance? Or perhaps the target vehicle had its engine off.

Antistasi install on dedicated problem

Trying to install Antistasi on a Dedicated server, open up the back-end of the server to transfer the files and BIKEYs and all that jazz. find and open the Antistasi mod folder and am greeted with only a.BIN key.

further googling came up with nothing as the mod provided a.PBO file for the mission, this is the 2nd time that a promising* (an MP game mode/mission on the steam workshop) gave me a.BIN file and nothing else to go on.

Am i missing something here or is steam-workshop just being an ass about certain mods now?

Hi, being looking for good SP/Coop mission for Unsung for awhile. Most ones I found on workshop are pretty mediocre, many even lack basic feature such as mission ending. I am sure there are some good ones since Unsung has been around for a few years.

Advice on KOTH, Im new to the game

Hi , so like in the title imnew to the game and all I've been playing KOTH for a while now(I'm lvl21 on a server!) I wanted to reach out because I feel extremely frustrated dying landing/ parachuting into the hill.on some games I've literally spent 45min just repeatedly dying in the apartment. Most of the time it's not even the pilots fault the communicate where they plan to go but most of the time they we just get wiped out. Some games I tried driving to the ao, giving a wide berth but it take a very long time and a couple of times I got SNIPED by some guy that's way out of the ao. Can you guys share tips/ guides on how to GET to the ao effectively. I tried online searches buy all the result are for making money, not getting to the ao.

Arma has the most convoluted, complicated menus for server management.

I bought the game a couple of weeks, the game itself is fantastic, single player at least. However, joining multiplayer whether they're my friends or an unknowns, are hit or miss. Sometimes the servers work and sometimes they don't. When I attempt to join my friends server it always tells me the stupid message "Server is not responding." Same goes for my friends trying to join me. I have port forwarding enabled on my Router, yet Arma 3 tells me that it failed. Seriously this is ridiculous, I spent my money on this game for the servers to not function. Maybe I'm doing something wrong but I don't think it should be this complicated just to be able to play with my friend. Thanks anyone if they have the same issue or a solution.

Arma 3 Can't join any server.

So I got the game yesterday and installed it overnight and I started playing it today and everything was going fine (no lag). Then when I'm playing with my friend the car styops and starts juttering and I get the yellow chain icon down in the bottom right. I can't do anything so I have to leave and when I do and try to rejoin it won't let me. This is on any server as well I've tried quick play and a multitude of servers and I just end up on either the map loading screen with the yellow chain or a static looking one on altis servers with the yeloow chain but sometimes there is no yellow chain but it eventually ends up with an error message saying something along the lines of "You have lost connection to the Host". I have tried restarting PC deleting the MPMissionsCache Folder to no avail. I beg you help it happened just as I was getting the hang of things.

WW1 or WW2 servers for roleplaying?

Hello,

I have bought Arma 3 Apex a while ago, but due to studies and my work i haven't really had the time to play any games, however now i do have some spare time.

I never really played the game before, so I am just wondering if there is a mod that allows you to play WW1 or WW2 era?

I would also be very interested in role playing servers that involve Desert Storm.

Aircraft throttle misaligned. Help?

I have a HOTAS flight stick with a throttle, and When I set the analog throttle to the Z+&- it set the center of my throttle as 34 for fixed-wing and 6 for VTOL aircraft. Does anyone know how to fix this?
