How much do your morals play a role in your decisions?

I like to think I'm a very nice person IRL but I've had 3 colonies now (i don't count the first 2 really because it was just experimenting and learning) but on my recent one that lasted a few in-game years, I have:

  • killed a colonist for starting a fight
  • tried to built an enclosure around everybody who visits me (but im too slow and they move too much)
  • After a female colonist died of sleeping sickness i made her husband eat her corpse less than 10 minutes later
  • let a colonist burn to death because he was a hypochondriac
  • slaughtered my animals in an effort to keep the floors clean
  • killed someone because after i rescued them from escape pod, they tried to leave and wouldn't accept my love.

How do you play? Do you try to save everyone? even the useless people? Do you see them as tools or get emotionally attached? Do you release prisoners and rescued people and actually let them go?

And I'm now 3 failed colonies in. Started with the Tiberium mod because apparently I hate myself.

Colony 1: Survived for over a year, crashed from mod issues :(

Colony 2: Mass psychotic break, everyone killed each other, last man bled out on the sand.

Colony 3: all going well, nice map bisected by a river, all of the Tiberium deposits on the other side. Small colony established. Mega-beavers appear, but are dealt with. Lightning starts huge forest fire on the other side of the river, all of the wildlife either die or are driven into the 'safety' of the Tiberium fields, promptly dying of radiation and their flesh crystallising. The corpses of all of the wildlife are mutated into visceroids, there must have been at least >30. One wanders over to the colony, bites one of my dudes, not an issue, I kill it easily. The others are attracted by (I presume) the blood, and swarm the base, just milling around all inconsiderate. I decide to try and eliminate them one by one. Turns out shooting one enrages the others, my hunters rapidly die and my miner is severely wounded. My scientist, a pyro, starts lighting random fires, burning down both the colony and the visceroids, but kills everyone. Only the dog survived, but will presumably be killed as the Tiberium spreads out of control.

I think I might be obsessed.

Give me a screenshot of the pawn, and their health status. I'll include scars, bionics, ect. If you've imagined a personality, include that for a pose.

If you're wondering why I'm doing this, I'm a professional artist and I like to look for ways to practice. Let's see how this goes. :p

My first playthrough went like this, (this all happened in 10mins) I have 4 people, one of them got crushed in a mountain an other got killed by a wolf, then I saw a werid structure in a mountain and I opened it and there where like 5 pods. I had no idea what they where so I opened one and they all open and 5 people jump out and knock me out and set me on fire not I then they went and killed my last person and berned out my hole base. this game is crazy, I love it. I'm on the second colony now and It's going a lot better.... so far.

1.0 Bionics?

Ok, I'm probably just being dumb here. I've researched prosthetics and am learning bionics now, does that mean I can now actually make fake limbs and what not? If so how? I would guess at my fabrication bench, but just have the options for components and advanced components right now.

From what I've seen, attending parties has no effect on recreation. I'm hoping this is either just a bug due to a couple mods I have installed or a temporary thing. I set my colonists' schedules so that they work for most of the day and have fun for 2 hours. One of my colonists was recreation starved and I was hoping that the party that just started would cheer her up. It didn't. Her recreation stayed at zero and she kept the -20 mood debuff.
