Posted: 15 Jun 2018 05:10 PM PDT I started this collection a while ago and have come very far, even including a shiny "smol" or two in there from a community day. The only rules are that the pokemon has to be level one to be considered smol, preferably the lower IVs, the better. I've used these pokemon for lots of reasons. Mostly just for fun, who wouldn't love that 48cp tinytar? But in my tight knit community, I've also used them to place with spoofers to indicate the gym can be taken whenever (we typically wait a courtesy 8 hours) or to show my distaste of that trainer. But I haven't received a notice about anything gym related in what feels like over s month. I don't drop things in gyms a lot but when I do, it would be nice to get my damn notifications. Posted: 15 Jun 2018 11:25 AM PDT Just wanted to shoot out a thank you to Niantic for making community days, which so far have created an awesome way for the Pokemon Go community to come out and have a blast, while catching some of their favorite pokemon! It's been a thrill meeting other players and people coming out to enjoy their pokemon go experience with others. Whether it's finding custom made dolls or buttons that players have made for others to find during their adventure, or just meeting others that share the same interests as you, community days have been beneficial to the Pokemon Go community in a variety of ways. So regardless of all the whining and complaining that seems to bombard this sub-reddit during community days, usually over petty non-sense...Thanks Niantic, the majority of us are immensely enjoying community days, so thanks! | [Photo] Death Magikarp -Something peculiar happened. Posted: 15 Jun 2018 06:45 PM PDT I am sitting at home, the place I most commonly play Pokemon Go at since I am quite lazy. I let my weird GPS hatch my eggs automatically as it sometimes flicks my character around and makes it walk around town within a rough 100 meter radius. Something that has been happening since the start of pokemon go, is that I am being teleported to the same location at random, about once every hour or so. This location is always a city with a couple of gyms and pokestops in sight. If I am quick enough, I am able to peek into the gym, the pokestops, and even the nearby list of that location. But never am I able to interact with anything as it is out of my reach. I have continued my play about 2 weeks ago from a long break, and some new side effect entered the scene. Like the teleportation to the same city that is unknown to me, I now sometimes teleport to a big empty field with no pokestops or gyms nearby. Sometimes I find myself on a road, other times I see large buildings which could be greenhouses. I can't see pokemon on the nearby list.. as the nearby list flickers and vanishes. Other UI components like the compass and my portrait vanish too. This happened to me about 5 times the last couple of days. And then I met something that at first creeped me out a bit. By no means was it scary, but it caught me off guard. A black pokemon with what seemed to be red spots came up on screen, and the app crashed. I could barely catch a glympse of it and the app closed. I know the 3 first generations by heart, and I was absolutely positive that there was no pokemon like it. I continued playing, and about 30 minutes ago it happened again. Instead the whole screen was frozen and I had enough time to take a screenshot of it. Low and behold it seems like a Magikarp with corrupted textures. It has to be the same pokemon that crashed my game the first time, as it immediately clicked in my head that this is what I caught a glympse of. There can be so many reasons as to why this is happening. Maybe a null pokemon like Missingno, who knows? I thought it was funny, a corrupt Magikarp roaming the lands crashing anyone's app who finds it! [link] [comments]  | ||||||||||||||

We could play again at 11:15 for a minute before the server trouble started again. PoGo+ won't register. I've restarted the app several times. 11:22 - server's back up 11:26 - server issues again When tapping a Larvi, I get Error 26: This item couldn't be used at this time. 11:33 Can catch Larvitar again 11:57 - Server issues for the past 20 minutes. 12:09 - The servers seem to be operating more effectively now.
