Arguably some of the best looking water I've ever seen. This was taken with the Wisdom Shaders mod.

For this amazing game. I have been playing minecraft for a lot of its life span, including mid alpha. I became burned out on minecraft about 1 year ago, returning only when I was extremely bored. I tried better together and hated it, the ui, the server lag, the weird feeling. But I have been lurking on the sub, and I have been keeping up with the news.

And then just 2 days ago, the new Minecraft dropped on switch. I decided, "Oh what the hell I might as well TRY it." Now I'm hooked again. The blocky flame that once dwelled inside me like it was set on netherrack, was once again summoned. It's everything I've ever wanted from a portable version. The old music from C418-Alpha, amazing texture packs, smooth and buttery 60 fps, FOV settings, even more possibilities, easy multiplayer, and controls that aren't super clunky.

The community is growing, and there are no signs of it stopping. Sure, the game is basically a meme now, but that won't stop me from playing. This game isn't for children, it's for everyone, and I want the internet to know that.

So cats scare off creepers, dogs are hostile to skeletons, why not have parrots claw at zombie faces?

I want to have an army of tamed animals, detering all the common creatures of the night.

I put some vines on a tree to see if it would touch the ground before I got bored of the world and made a new one...
