I’m totally out of the loop... why are all the reviews of Civ 6 claiming there is spyware?

I'm wanting to add custom icons for a Civ 5 mod. Anyone got a link to a guide on how to do this?

I'm making a mod and got everything down, but I'm trying to figure out how I add custom icons. I can't find any guide on how I can do this, so does anyone know of a good guide I can use?

(Civ VI) What Civilization do you absolutely refuse to play as? and why?

Does anyone know how to get 'Continents' to be more than 2 giant landmasses ?

Posted: 22 Jun 2018 02:51 PM PDT

[Civ VI R&F]I'm giving a new way of playing a try, thought I'd try a ginormous map (120x80) with 14/20 civ/CS, and wanted it to be spread out on a few continents, but it seems no matter how many times I restart, it's always 2 giant landmasses, with maybe a few small ones now and again. How do I get a more varied amount of substantial landmasses ?

I woulda thought this would be PlateValue but that doesn't seem to change anything

Advice on Immortal difficulty? (Civ V)

Posted: 22 Jun 2018 03:11 PM PDT

I'm starting to play on Immortal and I find myself getting completely wrecked whether it be through war or just regular game play. What am I doing wrong? Or what do I need to start doing to compete? Any advice or guides would be appreciated.

Thanks

How does Civ 6's AI work for production during war?

Posted: 22 Jun 2018 07:14 PM PDT

So some backstory for this. I've been playing a game as Alexander going for a domination victory. I kind of forgot about the other victory options though in my bloodlust and now three big empires are 2/3rds of the way to a science victory while I haven't even reached rockets. I was thinking that if I declare war on all three and nuke all of them at once, then hopefully that'd force the AI to stop producing rockets and start producing soldiers. Then I'd try to just survive the war while I built my own set of rockets and stuff and hopefully win. It's a stupid plan, but I'm thinking it's all I've got since there's still 4 more capitals for me to get and I don't think I'd be able to capture them all before one of them gets a science victory.

But back to my question, would the AI even stop producing rockets and produce soldiers or would it just keep going towards a victory? I figured if the AI won't even bother stopping, then the plan is worthless to begin with.

Which policy tree should I choose?

Posted: 22 Jun 2018 05:44 PM PDT

I have finished Liberty as Japan. Going for a Domination or Science Victory in BNW/G&K. In the Classical Era. Going to go for Rationalism. Should I wait or choose a different tree

(Civ V and previous editions) What Civ do you absolutely never want to play as? Why?

Posted: 22 Jun 2018 01:05 PM PDT

Copied from this post, but for other versions of the game :).

For me it's Venice in Civ V, simply because I love having a large empire and I'm not a fan of domination (for the puppeting option). For anyone not aware, Venice gets several trade-related boosts in Civ V, but cannot found or annex other cities (although they can puppet them).

My favourite civ to play as, for similar reasons, is Shoshone ^^.
