| FINISHED!: Iron Giant! (CAUTION: Large Photo's ahead!) Posted: 11 Jun 2018 04:52 PM PDT One of these Golems is not like the other. One of these Golems IS FREAKIN' HUGEEEEEE! It may have have started well over a year ago, it may have taken over 80 hours, and it may have a slightly elongate torso because Mojang didn't scale their models to their textures symmetrically (*Shakes fist at cloud*), still it's DONE. And I Love it! If there's enough interest I'll be glad to zip the world and share it to map creators and server owners alike. (Or if ya just want to explore it yourself!) Until then, here are 3, 360° views of the finished Iron Giant: "But that seems afully bright for a night photo." I hear you type mentally... No fear, I went that extra hop skip and jump to bring you these 3, 360° night views: I sevearly doubt this post will post, because these photo's are large. Regardless, here is a link to the IMGUR album which includes progress photos. If you're a building and looking for the 'how do ya get from point A to point B, this album is for you) Including the drastic jump from 'flat' to 'depth'. ...like this: It looked good then...but I'm super glad I added some depth and some tendrils for the vines! No matter what happens, if you think "Woah! I could never do this." Just look at this, and remember, this FINAL project started out as THIS STARTER project: P.S. As is the norm on our server, this build is 100% mob proof, and the 'maintenance' system is clean and well hidden. The inside 1: Ground floor looking at the inside of the chest. Yes...this is with 'night vision' The inside 2: Looking down inside of an arm. Yes...this is with 'night vision' The inside 3: Looking down from the head to the toes! Yes...this is with 'night vision' The 3 versions. (From left to right ) 1.2 (3D, Vines with Tendrils), 1.0 (2D), 1.1 (3D) THANK YOU FOR VIEWING! HOPE IT INSPIRES YA TO BUILD BIG AND KEEP AT IT! | Posted: 11 Jun 2018 02:13 PM PDT I have made a good guardian farm on bedrock edition that gives 5 stacks of prismarine crystals and 9 stacks of prismarine shards per hour. Unfortunately I hsd to dig out the whole monument like in the java edition. However the core of the farm is different. I did a 27×27 water area with all water source blocks. The block under the water is a magma block. This makes it so the guardian flow down and get killed. The collection system is just a minecart hopper going around. I also lit up a decent amount of caves around it just to see what it did. I'm not sure if it helps but for a guardian farm these rates are quite good. But no xp. [link] [comments] | ||
| I need help with MCEdit2 or another way to prune my world Posted: 11 Jun 2018 09:14 AM PDT Hello! I have a server and we have explored thousands of blocks in every single direction. The problem is that we want the new 1,13 oceans and have our old village at the same time. I tried to prune the world but when I do it the whole world just disappear. I've tried in many different ways but still no success. I would be very thankful for an answer! (Sorry for my English, I'm still learning) //Zarty [link] [comments] |
