There used to be more regular gold price reductions prior to 2.0, but now it feels like most heroes are 10K. The 1K gold brawl reward, hero prices aside, is a much better reward than a single chest imo. | Can't use last year's HGC emotes in Twitch chat Posted: 09 Jun 2018 03:36 PM PDT I tried using the HGC team emotes that I bought with bits last year to cheer on my favorite teams in chat during the matches today. However, when I tried to click on my team emotes from last year, it brings up the bits screen and says "Add 99 Bits to reach this channel's minimum Cheer." But, I already bought it last year?! Also, I do have some bits in the bank so it's not like I don't have enough, if that matters. Whoever designed the bits system messed up with this. When I try to use my emote from last year, it is the same text as this year (e.g. "HGCDIG3"), so it kind of forces you to pay for the emotes this year if you want to use your emotes that you paid for last year... There should be some kind of formatting of the emotes to prevent this issue from occurring, such as making the standard "HGCDIG1" cheers into "HGCDIG12017" and "HGCDIG12018" so that you can use ones you already have. Or is this oversight something they did on purpose? I can use the emotes in other channels, btw. I'm a poor grad school student on a budget so I can't cheer as much as I'd like, and I'm limiting my spending on the teams that I don't have emotes for yet (Go HHE!). I also don't have time to farm bits by by watching ads. Really wish they'd fix this or, if it is on purpose, change it. How hard is it for Blizzard to implement putting people back in the queue? It's there in all of their other games. Posted: 09 Jun 2018 09:39 AM PDT So today, I was talking to my friend about Chen then I realized that players who joined the game 2 years ago or less did not know how the existence of Chen's old lvl 20 Storm, Earth, Fire talent. For information, The old Elemental Conduit allows Chen to:
The spirits last only 4 seconds and are untargettable. I used to main Chen for a while just for that talent (not because it was good but more because it's just so cool to spawn a spirit with an ability). Then it got nerfed but I still use it for fun (same reason). I kinda hope Blizzard will bring it back one day or at least make a 4th lvl 20 weak talent that does that (just so I have fun with it in QM or AI). As someone coming from League of legends, their website for competitive schedules and stuff was wayyyy better and I wish Blizzard could do that too since I like hots a lot. I can't even filter the MSB by group stage or knockouts... There's just a small row of endless games that I have no idea when they are or what kinda game they are. Well well maybe I'm alone in this idk but I just think it's kinda crappy.
