Workshop Wednesday is a thread aimed at all things crafting, from sharing tips and knowledge, providing assistance, or offering crafting services to others.

Crafting is a deep system in The Elder Scrolls Online with multiple professions, so be sure to participate in the thread whether you're a crafting novice or a master at sweetroll baking.

Please keep in mind the 'no personal attacks' rule in our sidebar, disagree respectfully with others, and know that a repeated or seemingly obvious bit of knowledge may not be obvious to everyone.

In addition, please be careful about posting in-game information about your account name/characters for conducting crafting business. We recommend contact information be shared privately to keep your account secure.

We look forward to your contributions!

Who else here thinks the furnishing limits on the huge houses is total B.S.?!!

Posted: 26 Jun 2018 04:30 PM PDT

You can spend nearly 70 bucks or more to buy one of ESO's biggest houses. Yet the furnishing limit is half of what you get if you have ESO Plus on top of that?!

ZOS, I just gave you nearly 70 bucks for a house. I'm obviously going to fill it up with all sorts of shit like crafting stations which will cost me MORE on top of that, and you're telling me I can't even fill it up unless I also give you 15 more bucks each month?

This is the most gratuitous example of utter greed in this game. It's bad enough you're gonna be spending even more to buy those crafting stations and etc, which are what, 5k in crowns each?! By the time you've furnished your gigantic 70 dollar house, you've probably spent closer to a hundred unless you're using the furnishing vendors in game, but that's not my point here.

I shouldn't have my furnishing limit restricted after I've spent an outrageous amount of cash on a huge place. Yes, there are band-aid solutions like furnishing your place then cancelling your ESO Plus but that's not the point here. Maybe on the regular to small houses have that furnishing limit, but not the huge monstrous Chateaus, Grottos or islands that already cost the equivalent of a whole new game.

Take the furnishing limit off the biggest houses in the game at least!

Dungeon Roles - Why allow people to select all 3?

Posted: 26 Jun 2018 04:43 PM PDT

I know some people don't know what they're doing because they're new.

I know some people are so Over powered they can solo vets.

I know you gotta keep your numbers up ZOS.

But for the love of God why let people select tank, healer and DPS to queue as on Vet Dungeons!?

Limit to amount of transmute crystals you can have is BS

Posted: 26 Jun 2018 07:24 PM PDT

I currently have 35 uncracked geodes and more in my crafter and I can't use them because of the damned limit, why does it exist??

The increasing amount of geodes I get is being a bitch to my inventory space, I guess this limit was another one of Zos greedy schemes but even then eso plus members only get an additional 100+ to the limit.

Help with StamDK build

Posted: 26 Jun 2018 01:20 PM PDT

Hey. I have a StamDK alt that I am gearing up for vet content and so far I have Velidreth, 5 VO body/5 Hunding's front bar and a vMA bow. So my first question is this: How much difference would this setup have versus the BiS setup dps wise?

Also I am using Alcast's "Venom" build as my baseline, but he doesn't have deadly cloak and vigor on his bars. I need at least one, preferably both of them because I don't have much experience playing melee DDs. So my second question is: Which skills I should swap out to make room on my bars?

Thanks in advance.

This game really needs a build/gear manager

Posted: 26 Jun 2018 06:48 AM PDT

So, recently I discovered battlegrounds. Yeah, I know, a bit too late, I had Morrowind since release but always found something more interesting to do so never got to do them, but now I had kind of ran out of things to do with my main, wasn't in the mood to level another alt so I gave them a try. And I enjoyed them a lot, will do them every day now.

But this brings me to the title of this thread. As a templar main, I have now 3 sets of gear covering heal, dps and now PvP. Swapping the gear itself, the skill bars and everything should be made easy, especially for a game that is proud that can be played however you want.

I know there are addons on PC, but this should be made a game feature, much like the outfit station works. You create a profile, set the gear and skills you want to go in that profile and you load them in one click. Maybe even CP setups, but that would be maybe too much to ask, I would be happy just with a way to easily change skills/gear for different roles quickly.

What sets really disappointed you when you thought they would be good?

Posted: 26 Jun 2018 08:48 PM PDT

For me, it was ice furnace. That set is so awesome sounding. Too bad one word(direct) ruins the set. I even used the set's theme for a dungeon idea for my concept mmo

[Question] Hows Warden in pve nowdays?

Posted: 27 Jun 2018 12:53 AM PDT

Most of the information about the warden i could find is old or lacking, i'm wondering how are they in pve? can there stam and magicka dps compare to the other classes? how are they solo? most of the old posts say they are fairly weak in both and slightly subpar in healing and tanking compared to the templar and dragonknight respectfully if this is true what reason should you pick them over the other classes apart from fun ofc, Thanks for any serous replies

Need help choosing class/role

Posted: 27 Jun 2018 03:03 AM PDT

Hi,

Browsed the forum briefly, but didn't find exact answer. I am a new player (except 2-months during the ESO launch in 2014), who is very limited in time: won't be able to play several toons, 1 or max 2, and stuck selecting appropriate class/build. I'm planning to play more PVP than PVE, and in PVE do only 4-man easy dungeons and other non-competitive stuff. Hate casters/rdd, but like melee classes (2h or s'n'b) and supports/healers.

So, the question is: is there possibilty to build hybrid melee/healer, who will be useful in PVP/zergs, and will be able to do some PVE? So a PVP-oriented mix between damage/healing/survibability?

Thanks!

Dual wield stamblade PvP

Posted: 27 Jun 2018 02:21 AM PDT

Hi there !

I'm kinda new in this game, even if I'm not a total noob in mmorpg. I love PvP in cyrodiil or battlegrounds and I'm actually trying to get the stuff for the "mainstream" stamblade build (the Alcast one) because I don't think I'm good enough right now to make my own build. The fact is that I've always imagined my khajiit fighting with two daggers and I'm kinda disapointed to have to wear this heavy 2h sword for PvP.

So, my questions are :

- Is dual wield viable for PvP ? If not, why ? (I don't care if it's a little bit under the 2h build but I don't want to waste time farming for a new build if I'm not able to do anything with it at the end...)

- Is there a guide/build I can copy before trying to adapt it to my style ? All guides or builds I can find are outdated.
