Can we at least get a map preference setting?

Posted: 08 Sep 2018 06:43 AM PDT

I know they removed map selection since it was making load times longer with the more maps they added, but I've played 10 games in a row with 7 of them on Miramar and 3 on Sanhok, with mini and battle selected. Erangel is my, and many other's, favourite map and I haven't left the desert map whenever it is picked just because I'd prefer not too, but I'm just starting to get sick constantly being on my least favourite map.

I know players' favourite maps are different from person to person, but it seems to be the consensus among a lot of fans that Miramar is the least favourite. Obviously, it's subjective but it's most likely the main reason they clumped it together with Erangel, since not enough people were wanting to play it.

I'd really love to see map selection back, but if that's not available, a map preference setting would be almost as good. So in my case, I could set Erangel>Sanhok>Miramar, where it would prioritise Erangel, and if it either couldn't find one quick enough or took too long then it would move on to Sanhok.

I know this probably won't happen, especially since now it just queues you for a random map you've selected if I remember correctly, but this could help a great amount. It would potentially even stop people just leaving on the maps they dislike since they wouldn't get it as often.

TL;DR - A map preference setting, rather than a map selection setting, could potentially give players what they want without necessarily stopping the player from playing that map entirely and increasing queue times.

Event suggestion: everyone has 400 ping, redzone on the whole map, only attachments spawn, game crashes at 21 alive

Battle Royale is on netflix

I don't know if it'll be deleted for being unrelated but PUBG was made because of inspiration from Battle Royale so I was thinking it'd fit. If you wanted to see the movie that inspired pubg you should see it, it's on Netflix. Japanese with subtitles.

Players being banned for "unusual gameplay patterns" now. First one of these I've got. Feels better than chicken dinner.

There are no population problems in NA. Stop saying the game is dying.

It's absurd. PubG has more people playing then every game I've bought combined at any moment.

There's simply a problem on Blueholes end that's causing issues, and we should be demanding a response on this issue instead of OCE memeing about and listening to all the Fortnite fanboys.
