Welcome people of the fog! Here you can report bugs about the game.

Some rules and guidelines specific to this thread;

  • Top-level comments must contain a bug report.
  • No tech support questions; wait for Tech Support Weekend.
  • Specify your platform (PC, PS4, XBOX) in the report and make your report as detailed as possible.
  • Don't spam the thread with reports; try and keep them contained to one comment.
  • Check before commenting to make sure the bug you are detailing hasn't been reported already.

The Survivor-Approved Rulebook for Killers

Enclosed is the definitive rulebook for the Killers of Dead by Daylight. Failure to adhere to these rules will lead to the desecration of your Steam comments, Xbox reputation, and whatever the fuck the Playstation equivalent of those is. Adhering to these rules will result in infinite pallet looping, teabagging, and a fervent desire to ragequit. We'll also probably still shit on your account anyway.

Rules

  1. If you get within 30m of the hook you are camping and deserve everything you get. Fucking camper.

  2. if you chase someone you have ever hurt or hooked before, you are tunnelling and deserve to be humiliated.

  3. Ruin, BBQ+C, NOED, Nurse's Calling and Overcharge are OP and unfair.

  4. Sprint Burst, Dead Hard, Self-Care, Decisive Strike and Adrenline are fair and balanced.

  5. If you get pallet looped you're just bad, just mindgame it nerd.

  6. Killers are overbuffed and Survivors are overnerfed.

  7. If you don't respect the 4% you will be smited by the heavens

  8. If you find the hatch and don't give the last Survivor it, you are a dirty tryhard for securing a 4K.

  9. We are allowed to DC because you play like a scumbag.

10 If you find me first you are hacking

11 Scratch that, you're hacking anyway. Fucking hacker.

12 We're not being toxic in post-game chat, we are teaching you how to play properly. Also it's just banter you fucking c*** b****** n*****.

Killer-Specific Rules

The Trapper

  1. If I get killed by running into a trap while looping, you are preventing me from enjoying my balanced gameplay and will be reported.

  2. If you put a trap within 40m of a hook, you are a dirty camper and we hate you.

  3. Traps are gay

The Wraith

  1. Wraith is OP, admit it, he like...can't be seen and sneaks up on me and shit. he even 4k'd us that one time!

  2. If you stealth near the hook, even if your shimmer runs away, you are absolutely still camping.

The Hillbilly

  1. You're hacking.

  2. If you charge your chainsaw superfast, you're not using a decked out, specialised Tinkerer build, you're hacking.

  3. Did you know Hillbilly can sprint to cross the map?

The Nurse

  1. You are a dirty Tryhard

  2. If you use Nurse's Calling, BBQC, MYC, NOED or Ruin, you are the worst person in DBD.

  3. You probably suck at Nurse

The Shape

  1. You are not allowed to use any of your purple or red add-ons.

  2. If you proc T3 on me more than once you are cyber-bullying and I will report you to the internet police.

  3. If I shit myself when you jumpscare me you're paying for new pants.

The Hag

  1. You're camping. Even when you're not near the hook, you're camping by trap proxy. Fuck you.

  2. Hag is OP, just git gud at her idiot.

The Doctor

  1. We have a God-given right to DC from the game upon sight of you.

  2. If you appear on The Game we're reporting you.

  3. Doctor is the most OP killer he makes Skill Checks so impossible man, I can't hit any of them!

The Cannibal

  1. You. Are. A. Camper.

  2. Seriously, you camp so much.

  3. Fuck Franklin's Demise for separating me from my Purple Flashlight. Fuckin OP perk.

The Huntress

  1. You will be reported for aimbot if you ever hit a hatchet.

  2. Your hatchet hitbox is OP and always janks in your favour.

The Nightmare

  1. Freddy does not needs buffs. he needs more nerfs. Fuckin OP killer, he's worse than Wraith!

  2. If you sleep me within 20 minutes of me being unhooked, you are tunnelling and will be reported to the Gamer Police.

  3. We're Dcing as soon as we see someone fall asleep.

The Pig

  1. If you trap me you're bullying me and I will report you to Bully Hunters.

  2. Sprint Burst is balanced, git gud with your Ambush.

  3. RBTs are OP, my key is always in the last box!

The Clown

  1. This new killer is clearly overpowered because he killed me in my first game vs him.

Disclaimer: these arbitrary rules are made-up, unfair, and not legally binding (yet), play the game how you want to play, enjoy the Killers you enjoy playing, have fun with any build you want, and give us a good scare. See you in the Fog!

New Freddy Ultra-Rare add on idea: Sleepover Invitation Letter

Hey guys, I was just touching up today's TotF (a daily post I'm working on) when I thought of a new add on which I thought could possibly help everyone's dream guy out, sorry for the joke.

(Ultra-Rare) Sleepover Invitation Letter - A handwritten letter, crudely drafted by a child, requesting for friends to stay over. The letter is signed "Nancy."

When pulling a survivor into the Dreamworld, any survivors within a 20m radius of that survivor are also drawn into the Dreamworld.

The numbers aren't final so feel free to to compliment, criticise or add ideas of your own, thank you for your time today and have a good one guys.

Adhering to these rules...will probably lead to you getting tunnelled, facecamped and/or Mori'd anyway to be honest.

Rules

  1. Pallet looping is OP, hasn't been nerfed enough, and is cheating.

  2. 4%ing the hook is illegal

  3. Camping is a viable strategy.

  4. Tunneling is fun and interactive for both sides.

  5. DStrike, Self-Care, Borrowed Time, Unbreakable, Sprint Burst and Dead hard are OP

  6. BBQ+C, NOED, Ruin, Nurse's Calling and Overcharge are fair and balanced.

  7. Killers deserve only respect and admiration for the difficult role they play, poor souls.

  8. All SWF groups are toxic tryhards.

  9. Flashlights are banned.

10 The Hatch is reserved solely for Pizza Dwight

11 If you loop me for more than 20s you are a toxic player and I will get my dad who works for Microsoft/Sony/Valve to ban you.

Dwight Fairfield

  1. Pizza Dwight gets the Hatch. ONLY Pizza Dwights.

Meg Thomas

  1. Tryhard

  2. All of your perks are so OP. Especially Q+Q, because lockers are OP.

Claudette Morel

  1. We. Are. Dodging.

  2. If you wear Prestige, you are a tryhard.

  3. If you wear any of the brown cosmetics, you are a tryhard.

  4. You're toxic, even if you only say gg, you're toxic

Jake Park

  1. Sabotaging is an unfair, 0-counterplay mechanic that is ruining my fun gameplay and I can report you for it.

  2. You probably have Legacy and I'm dodging if I see it.

Nea Karlsson

  1. Stealth is so OP, nerf Urban Evasion

  2. Stealth takes no skill and should be removed from the game.

  3. Pallet looping still OP btw.

Bill Overbeck

  1. Borrowed Time is still OP.

  2. If you get up with Unbreakable I reserve the full right to tunnel you for being a cheater.

  1. Dead Hard has no counterplay, admit it.
